it is so suspenseful just waiting for a word to pop up on here. I like the excitement of it. I wait, and wait and then check to see what it is. Than, as soon as it pops up, I start typing as fast as I can!

I was watching a movie. It was scary. I screamed really loud! I ran around the theater with my hands over my head hollering like a looney. Afterwards a friend asked me what movie I watched. I told him it was the scariest movie ever. It was Finding Nemo
I am going on holidays, and will not be able to write for 10-12 days. If people cared to look at somebody else’s pitiful musings, then perhaps I would hold you all in suspense for my future entries. But nobody really cares, so it will not be suspense at all, in fact.
The air is visibly tingling in front of me- vibrating, electric blue, waiting. It wants to lash out, swirl around what we are about to do. But- we can’t. We are locked staring into one another’s boiling red eyes.
The game was very suspenseful. I didn’t know who was going to win. Were the Birds going to win, or were the Lions going to win? The game was tied at the end of the fourth quarter. The teams were going to have to go into overtime. It was anyone’s game still.
Some told me my boyfriend was going to break up with me. So I waited. That was very suspenseful. He did indeed break up with me because of good reasons. That is his personal business though. He said he still loved me and I said I still love him. I told him I will wait, but he said I would change my mind by the time he is ready. I will prove him wrong. I will and we will be happy… Hopefully. I do love him very much. He is the only thing on my mind. I miss his hugs… Please come back. I want him back… so bad. He made me so happy. Now that’s gone. I will keep my promise and wait. I want to be his and I want him to be mine. I love him so much… He is my joy. My world. Now he’s gone and it’s not the same. Maybe I’m just being crazy. That’s fine. I don’t know what you want from me, isn’t that suspense enough? Never mind. The lack of communication doesn’t ask for my full attention. Your actions aren’t so sublime since you look to me to go about it the wrong way in these turbulent times. Here’s a hint from the tips of my fingers to the pupils of your eyes, now front and center in your mind: talk to me straight sometime. And if you have nothing to say then keep to yourself and stay out of my way.
Suspenseful, the moment before you find out if what lies behind yet another door is an opportunity of a lifetime or yet another door? What if life is just a series of doors till we arrive at the gates of heaven and this is the almighty’s twisted yet genius plan?
This makes me think of mystery novels. I’ve really been enjoying the Louise Penny novels so I’m bummed that I’ve had the next one on the wait list for so long. I hear Georgette Heyer’s novels are good, as well, but her romances are killing me.
The wait has been, in a word, suspenseful. I was told that with the advances in modern medicine et cetera, it would only take about 45 minutes to get the results back. Even waiting forty-five minutes to hear whether or not such a horrible infection has been cleansed from one’s bloodstream can be unbearable however. I’m just glad to live in a time when they have the cure for HIV (it was found in 2020).
I don’t know how to feel right now. I think I was just stolen but I cant clearly remember. I don’t think I got on my school bus, so I must have been taken. I keep telling myself its okay and to just stay calk and not think about what is happening.
Is there anything more suspenseful than wondering how life will turn out? But what’s worse is wanting and not doing. When busy doing, no time for the suspense.
The anticipation was killing me.
Here I am, facing what could be the scariest moment of my life.
“Well? are you gonna go or not?”
I shot him an annoyed look, riddled with fear.
I can stop.
I turned and faced my back to the open door, wind whipping my hair.
Thirty thousand feet up sure is cold.
I can stay here, in the cabin.
This is a choice.
I decided to let the earth call me back into his arms.
Lean back, freefall.
everything that abel said made oktavia rest on the edge of her seat. she listened, intent, to every word that tumbled from between his lips as if it was the most important story she’d ever hear; in the very fact of the matter, it was. she scrawled her notes, suspense on her shoulders as she leaned in for more details.
I don’t like it when I don’t know. “Just let it happen,” she always said. “Don’t worry. Just go with the flow.” She had the ease of knowing herself in the present and not thinking of her reactions in the future.
I have this TV show I like to watch called Criminal Minds. There was this one episode that was filled with a bunch of different things that were happening at random. I made it to the last 2 minutes of the episode, and I saw this in the middle of a black screen:
“To be Continued.”
That was an episode that left me in suspense. It was “Full of suspense” or “Suspenseful”

Suspenseful – waiting for today’s writing prompt was, well, suspenseful because I have never used this site before and wondered how it works. I’m exploring for my 13 year old son. He’s very creative but not tapped into his ‘inner writer’. I on the other hand LOVE to write and don’t want to strangle him out.
Dun Dun Dun! Bob was approaching the dark desk at the end of the room. No one knew what he would do next. Some thought the would flip it over while others thought he would throw it at Henry who made him angry in the first place.
The movie was less suspenseful than the date was. I simply could not figure out if she was into me or not. One minute, she was squeezing my hand for dear life; the next, she kept her body closed off, scrunched off in the theater chair, eating the last of her popcorn. It wasn’t until the film ended and we were walking to her car that I got a peck on the cheek.
