  1. She is positively glowing. Her smile radiates.
    Her heart beams.

    She must be in love..

    It certainly shows.

  2. Lights. Camera. Action. The show begins!
Stunning and bright, the stars are just that. They almost seem to glow. They soothe the camera’s harsh stare with soft smiles. Oh yes, these are proud creatures.

  3. It shows when i am worried. It shows when i am scared. It shows when i am sad. I can’t hide my emotions from my loved ones. I want to them to show their feelings to me. I want all the drama shows to end.

    By Suncesa URL on 12.27.2012

  4. you know what really shows about him? Kerry thought to herself. His smile. It sheds life on the world. Its so bright, so open, so wonderful it just makes the world smile back. It shows he is one of a kind. The one for me.

  5. Everything started when we went to see that beautiful show. It was the greatest thing that we have ever seen together. The look of joy in her face, was the most wonderful thing I have ever seen in my life. I will never forget it…For it was the last time she smiled.

  6. makes me think about all the country shows I went to during my exchange year in Brazil. I hated the music but loved the atmosphere. I miss Brazil so much, my heart aches. But I still call the music sertanojo.

  10. ”Welcome to my world.”
    ”And it shows,” I replied.
”What on earth are you talking about? I was just filling silence and you came in trying to put a spin on it.”
”This place has all the hallmarks of you,” I said.”See, this gap in the rubble is shaped to fit your palm print, the spiderweb here is like your hair only cleaner and straigher. Dust everywhere, like detritrus, like the dust bunnies under your bed and sofa at home. The only thing not evident is mould, but I am sure I could find some if I follow that smell.”
“Keep your housekeeping lessons for someone who cares. We won’t be here long, just until it gets a bit darker and we can travel again.”

  12. I love going to magic shows and see the magician wave his wand to create superb things: bunnies out of hats, a pack of cards with one suit and a long line of handkerchiefs.

    By Kobanaa on 12.27.2012

  13. interesting. a lot of people put them on and I’m not talking about on Broadway…I’m talking about in their every day lives…most people would rather live life as a facade rather than grab hold of their own happiness and damn all the others.

  14. There are lots of shows on TV, but there never seem to be any good ones. The ones that are good are the ones that you’ve watched. But you wouldn’t have known they were good had you not watched them. So take the time and discover something new.

    By hillary URL on 12.27.2012

  15. The show was just the beginning. But it was also the end. Allison had only ever dreamed of performing. And tonight was finally the show. The red curtains were drawn tight together and the lights hot. In a matter of moments the curtains would open and the orchestra would begin to warm up.

    By L.A.Moss on 12.27.2012

  16. The opera was boring, and General Thomas let his hand cradle his chin. Footsteps sounded behind him. He smiled as his guest sat down and leaned in close.

“I apologize, old friend,” the voice said, and he was truly sorry. The blade broke through his skin, blood pooling warmly down his back. Thomas grunted with the pain, and he could hear the singer’s voice slowly begin to fade away.

    By Owl URL on 12.27.2012

  17. I perform in front of everyone. I don’t even think. My eyes glaze over and I look at the wall behind their heads. Was I born to do this?

  19. television shows annoy Nicholas more than he likes to admit. all it is is a series of hopeless reruns that he doesn’t like to watch. he thought about his son, barely 4 years old sitting alone across the house watching the same boring television shows, probably just as bored.

  20. Waaa. hindi ko alam kung para saan to. Gusto ko lang naman hanapin yung page na about sa personal development na may theme na One Word tapos dito ako napunta. Anyway, nandito na rin eh kaya magtataype na rin ako. My One Word is: NOW. Now. A very strong word that dispells the curse of procrastination.

  21. Shows: a trigger word. He had tried his hardest to keep her away from anything that reminded her about her past life, her broken dream. Just reading that word was enough for her to have another breakdown. And he held her, kept her by his side as she wept uncontrollably.

“Stay here with me; I love you” – he whispered in her ear

  22. To show means to demonstrate something. For example, showing a new leather jacket for someone, or showing someone my house. I am used to show my house when people come over here.

    By Nourah on 12.27.2012

  23. I went to shows as a kid. My friends and I played in bands, and we went to shows every weekend. I wish I could still attend shows. It’s harder than ever to find a good show since skul alley closed. Some of the best shows I’ve ever seen were there, especially when the house was full. They were cheap and they were DIY, one of the best venues in the country. My friends still play in shows.

  24. A light show in the sky. Falling stars from the heavens. Just as i left them in your eyes, a crumbling light show in the skies. Tears that fall from the blackest night.

    By Mouse URL on 12.27.2012

  25. The pain, the hurt, the sadness; it shows. All you have to do is look for it. It’s in her crooked, fake smile. It’s in her dark, mysterious eyes. It’s in her tainted and broken heart. But her courage, her strength, her determination; it shows also. Every single scratch, cut, and scar from her head to her toe. They are reminders of all the good and bad times she had been through. Everyone has a story, a journey, a path they have traveled on. And if you look hard enough you will be able to see bits and pieces of their lives; because it shows.

  26. I often show people some of the worst sides of me simply for their entertainment; some of my worst sides would include being too brash or conceited and end up falling on my face shortly afterward, or being laughably angry. I’m not quite sure why I’ve ended up doing this all my life, I suppose it’s so that people will like me, even if they don’t like me because they like what I have to offer the world.

    By Boo on 12.27.2012

  27. I love going to the shows. That’s what my grandmother showed them, so much more romantic than saying you’re going to the movies. The shows, the showing of things. I’d rather go to a show than a movie any day. I wish I had known things as she does, the majestic aspect of such things as shows.

    By Samantha on 12.27.2012

  28. It shows. When you ache so from your joy or your grief. When you laugh so hard you cry or cry so hard you laugh. It shows. Despite attempts to conceal the emotions they will betray you, leave you vulnerable.

  31. Tv shows are lame. There is nothing original about them any more. All of the same reproduced poop you see everywhere else. What happened to classics like MASH? !13 seasons man! 13. You cant go wrong with a classic. They made what funny is today. Look at the loony tunes! nothing outshines nor compares to them in any way.

  35. When he smiles, he shows me a tiny part of himself. A tiny piece of his soul. I can tell he’s being honest because of the glint in his eye, and the hesitancy in his voice. I want to be everything to him, the way he is everything to me.

    By Violet on 12.27.2012

  36. It”s time to put on a show. The one I dance so elegantly. Dressed to the teeth, shadowed by my curse. These illusions hang still, quite deamons waiting for the kill. A slip of wit and ill be the one to quit, a melodical figurine dancing before the scene. For one more show.

  38. she has a deftness about her
    and it shows.
    she may try to hide
what she does not wish to hear
    but it shows.
    and she knows
that the petals of a red rose
    are strict in their finality.
the king is wrapped in tinfoil
and the queen is dressed to fail
    the servants all are quivering

  40. I used to do a lot of shows, at least that is what people called them. I am a very good actress you know? I can hide anything I want to about my life, lie myself out of admitting things I’m ashamed of, and even even trick people into thinking I have a high level of self-esteem. Life is one big show isn’t it? Full of actors wearing masks trying to play roles in society they were not meant to fit.
