To seek satisfaction in life is to satisfy oneself. Life throws us too many curved balls, and sometimes one needs to satisfy desires to achieve all that is possible in life.

I was always hungry after dinner. I couldn’t seem to satisfy my hunger. Thanksgiving is a fun time. Blah blah blah blah.

if there was one thing i’d say about growing up, it’s that i could never satisfy anyone.
i couldn’t spell good. i couldn’t love good. i couldn’t keep my family from going crazy.
but today, i realize that none of those things are important.
the only thing you have to satisfy is yourself.
and if you’re able to do that, then you’ll be happy.

I was always hungry after dinner. I couldn’t seem to satisfy my hunger. Thanksgiving is a fun time. Blah.
Pouring from the cup
Too fine to measure
But all is consumed
No elixir brings content
Is a mess in the kitchen.
You’re using my toothbrush
I can tell
The mint scent pouring from your breath
Has changed from Long cut spearmint
To sweet peppermint,
I won’t mention a thing.
Ginger and almonds for breakfast
Honey and whiskey to start the day.

He satisfied me. The thirst, the hunger, all of it was gone. His lips were soft against my skin, his cheek rough. This was all I wanted. Me and him, here, alone, but together. Always.

to give in the pleasure of pleasing. embracing the current of forces that flow inside your body. to calm them down. to satisfy. i bet an ad can come up around there somewhere. sometimes i hate how it easy it is to convince you, to be convinced.
Satisfaction is what people seek. We seek to entertain ourselves with things that please us, either harmful or safe. For exaple, we tend to satisfy needs like the one of pleasure, which is the one that burns the most inside us. Because we’re like animals in taht matter, and our only purpose is self-accomplishment.

I am not satisfied with who I am. I don’t think I’ll ever be. It’s just what 15 years of football(soccer) has done to me. There is always something more to achieve for. There is always room to improve. Always the next tournament to win. Always the next player title to acquire.
I will never be satisfied with who I am, but is that a problem?

A faction of people, yours included, with our very odd and very wicked ways, we find our wills swayed by the general delay of decision-making, that is to say, we like hiding away in the responsibility of another’s mistake, or their great plan, or just a generally nice pathway. It’s comforting. But it’s never quite satisfying.

Stop comparing yourself to others’, even yourself to yourself. Comparison is a prison where we both the prisoner and prison guard. Smash every mirror you find yourself staring at you but never into you. I mean it– smash every mirror you find yourself looking into, even if it’s a building window; you see, this way you’ll get arrested and go to a physical prison and when you do, compare it to the one inside you.

food satisfies the soul. The more you eat the more satisfied you are. But there is a limit to satisfaction. Just like there is a limit to everything else in life. Eat to much and the food won’t satisfy you anymore. It will taste horrible and make you feel ill.

I wish I could satisfy myself. I never seem to be satisfied with my work or myself. I always need to do more work, and I always need to do more for myself… but I can’t have time for both. I want to take time to just chill and do “me” stuff… but then I would sacrifice my work, and I can’t do that, because it would sacrifice my grades. I can’t seem to figure out a way to satisfy myself.

He can’t satisfy me. Nothing can. Like a maw I devour all and all and more than all and yet am not filled. What is a mortal beside that? I could eat this planet and not be filled. I could eat this solar system, this galaxy, this whole god damn universe and it wouldn’t matter. And yet I settle for one man on one planet in one solar system who thinks himself special. What logic is that?

Cassandra was utterly and completely satisfied. A pleasant sigh left her lips as she glanced over at Alaric in the bed beside her. He was asleep, a pleased smile on his lips as he dreamed. It brought a smile to hers as she laid her head on his chest, her eyes drifting closed as she listened to the sound of his heartbeat. Yes she was utter satisfied and happy.

I will never be satisfied with myself.
I cannot play a sport.
I have no skill in any useful activity.
My few talents disappoint many.
Reading doesn’t earn you medals.
Sewing is a seemingly ancient skill.
Writing doesn’t gain you admiring friends.
These things don’t put food on the table
Or clothes on our backs
Or money in our dusty, underused wallets.
Art only gets the lucky far,
Who am I to think I will go far?
I yearn only to prove myself to others.
Perhaps they’ll never be satisfied.

People aren’t ever satisfied with their life. They always want more. It doesn’t matter if they live in a mansion or a run-down house, they just always do. When they get their wish, they ask for more.

It does not satisfy me that you always forget most of what I say. You leave me hanging in conversations. You leave questions unanswered. And yet somehow you have the time to immerse yourself in your imagined coolness, and you have this delusion that you are oh so desirable to your other girls, who are either farting projected coolness or squeaking shrill annoying words about their self-centered ideas.

Satisfaction is difficult, I believe, to achieve. To satisfy, to be satisfied, it can all seem to be met with disappointment. I think we’ve all grown to believe that becoming satisfied can be impossible, and that maybe we’re not supposed to satisfy, or be satisfied in return.
