  1. Pins held Edward together. His legs weren’t even and one foot was turned in. They never did find the other half of his right arm. He had a big toe for a thumb and his face was sallow. His hair grew in sparse patches on his head and dark rings hung under his whipped-dog-eyes. Most folks spat at him, called him Frankenstein. Some approached him to be of help and he lunged at them with knives-for-teeth gnashing.

  5. pins and needles? I will PIN you in wrestling!!! I love wrestling and I always try to pin down my boyfriend, but he usually does the pinning. I still have fun though! Pins can be the pins that mom’s wear at their kid’s football game…

  9. Ummm this kind of makes me think of that song from 1776, where Abigail Adams demands that John send her pins for the ladies of Massachusetts before she has them make saltpeter. I used to watch that movie with my family every 4th of July, but in recent years we haven’t really done it which is sad. Last 4th of July we didn’t do anything really, and I stayed up late watching this movie by myself. I think I watched it like three times which is impressive because it’s a 3 hour long movie.

My dress caught the corner of the pew and ripped.The quiet tinkle of beads could be heard echoing off of the chapel ceiling as I walked towards the exit.

  16. Pins is a word that can be seen from so many different perspectives. It could be pins as in held down. Or pins as in a sewing tool. Or even used in the expression pins and needles. Personally, I like the word better than I like the word needles. I hate needles. Pins, I can handle.

  21. Pins are tiny little things you could hang stuff up with. Pins are really tiny everybody around the world uses. They are made for all kinds of different hanging stuff. Pins are always going to be around. i knew this one girl that had a pin stuck in her foot.

  31. Hörst du mal auf, rumzupinzen! Als wär das alles so schlimm, so furchtbar schlimm.
    Um alles wieder ins rechte Licht zu rücken, muss man sich einfach nur immer wieder klar machen, wem’s schlimmer geht, als einem selbst. Da findet sich immerimmerimmer jemand!
