i will obey whoever respects me. i will obey whoever pays me. but i will not obey those who do not tolerate me and my ways.

obey? why? who? for what? i just need to listen to myself. i’ll fail if i don’t do that. i need to obey my feelings. my thoughts. my heart. what i think i want. what do i want? i never know

obey me now. obey the master. you must obey your superior. to obey is to submit. to submit is to obey. one must always obey the orders of their commanding officer. if one does not obey me I will fucking blow you up. OBEY the laws of the land or you shall end up in jail. If you end up in jail you should probably obey the top bitch there’ or he’ll make you his bitch. If you don’t obey the CO you end up in lock down.

Obey without delay- this motto has been instilled in the young monks working in the abbey of stone set upon a verdant hill in the country side of Italy. With one command from the abbot, the monks would immediately scuttle about the place and begin their work fixing the books in the musty library or tending to the vegetable garden right outside their window.

please don’t stand there directly in my line of vision and make out with your new girlfriend while we are at a party of our mutual friends. I choose not to make out with your friend in front of you so you should obey the same curtsey.

the words I say
dont try to play
me on this day
I’ll put you away
so go and pray
for another way.

That is something that I will never, ever do. To blindly obey someone, or something, is a virtual death sentence. You will have given your power to another person, and stopped being a co-creator of your own life.

Obey is a funny word–very few want to do it, but many would like others to do it. I still can’t figure out what the 1% want, but I suspect that slavish obedience is part of it.

It’s not enough for someone to simply obey. They have to want to comply for their own reasons. Obedience without love is worth nothing. It’s simply you establishing power over another unjustly…

One hand at my waist and another at my neck, you spin me ’round. So, so fast, I’m seeing circles. It seems I’ve no choice but to follow the subtle demands of your hands. My feet, my legs, my torso, my arms, my hands, my head, my heart obey.

Chain connects my neck to the leather strap in your hand. You whip me down and force me to obey. It can’t be seen but man, oh man alive, can it be felt. You’ve got me constricted, constrained. You force me to obey. The last hope of my secret dreams and ideas are shaken down.

It is important to obey the rules of the school. without rules there would be chaos. There are several people you need to obey too. Your parents, teachers, and authority figures. Obeying allows people to be safe. So next time you think you don’t want to follow the rules, think twice. Obeying the rules allows you to be safe.

obeying is welcomed by haves and not welcomed by have nots, but it’s always have nots who have to obey. i really don’t understand this idea of obeying, though i’ve been told many times to do so.
By kaorita on 12.04.2011
It is better obey and do what you are told, once you are satisfied that what you are asked to do is legal. It is all about life, in every activity that you perform, you have the choice to obey a command or to reject it, you will live with the consequences.

I know only the sync that my heart finds with the universe, it requires no conscious obedience. It is simply things falling into their right places, no rebellion, no struggle, no sacrifice. A cosmic harmony.

I wish I could seek you out, and fuse together are existence. I’d break my bones and place them in yours, crack my ribs and re-arrange them in absolute forms with yours, in hopes that they may fit softer. I can’t obey what my mind pulses in itself. You are evil, you are horrid, you are awful. But you are, and that is beautiful. Your long legs twist like spiders around humans and grasp them in their shadows while you take all that they have. You are evil. But i’d break this hold the world has of your voice and shake it. My voice is shaking and I can feel heart dying. But it dies for you. Does evil exist? Or is it just a point of view? I hate myself for loving you but I can forgive my oblivion. It dies for and all you can do is ignore the rhythm and dance to it’s plea, yet you are still what I hold the dearest in the horrible world.

we have nothing to lose but our chains
She sighed, tears gathering in her eyes despite her best attempts to calm down. The endless brigade never stopped. It was a constant thing, the commands. Do as I say. You’ll be successful in life if you do exactly like I do. She was finding that hard to believe with each passing day.

“Six laps, go!” yelled the instructor. My legs ached- we’d already run five this morning! With a groan I started off around the track again.
“Pick up the pace there Ms. Stevenson! I said RUN!” Glancing back over my shoulder I saw him bellowing at me, spitt flying from his mouth as his nostrils flared. He bared his teeth at me and I sped up to catch up with James who was joggin in front of me. He yelled back after me: “And if you don’t finish in ten minutes you’ll be doing push-ups all of lunch with me supervising!”
If there’s one thing I’d learned from this gruelling training it was that you should never mess with Sir. Blasberg.

I thrash in the depths of the water and my breath bubbles out of my mouth, my hair, a cocoon, a nest, a net with me tangled in it. I try not to breathe, not to obey the crushing force that comes at a depth this deep, I try to keep my air in, it is at war with me, expanding and fighting like a baby in a womb.

One day, a missionary’s son was outside, playing by a tree. Suddenly, the Father saw something that terrified him. He called to his son,
“Obey me instantly! Drop to the ground and crawl towards me as fast as you can!”
The boy did exactly what his father said. Then the Father called out again.
“Now stand up and run to me!”
The boy did so. As soon as he reached his father’s arms, he turned around to see what the trouble was. He gasped as he saw a large, poisonous snake hanging down from tree. Sometimes, obeying instantly, could save your life.

I am consumed by thoughts of you, I obey my bodies every command when it wanted to entwine with yours. I don’t regret my decision. You are wonderful and incredible and all good things rolled into one living, breathing human being. I don’t know how I lived with out you for this long.

“Sit down.” His voice was low but it was very much a command. I didn’t want to sit. I wanted to stand. Wrinkling my nose, I snorted and tilted my head at him confused.
“Why do you want me to sit?” I asked. But he didn’t listen. Couldn’t he understand? If he just explained, I would!
“SIT!” He growled, and reaching over, shoved my hindquarters down. I whined. Why couldn’t he understand that I just wanted to know why?

Obey. The word seems to be forced from my lips. Obey. It’s not asking; it’s commanding. “Obey me all of your days. Submit to me. Follow my commandments.” It seems so easy, but in a society where we’re taught to depend upon ourselves it’s hard. It’s not about me, but about You. Obey. Submit. Listen. Depend on. Lean on. My life is Yours.
