He emerged from the mist, condensation clinging wetly to him, plastering down his hair. A drop hung suspended from the tip of his nose, as if loath to leave him. I knew the feeling.

the mist was hanging low over the sodden road. It glistened in the moonlight, glinting cheekily behind the sheen of vapour.

the sea foam green mist was too much to bear as i was walking through the forest to meet my fate. there he was, with his ax, waiting to end my life.

there was a small amount of dew gathered on the rass the morning when you went missing. I know this because I had climbed out of the bed looking for you. I had walked out of the house calling your name. I lept off of the porch in search of you.

I think of the song misty which is an old jazz song. My mom likes it when I play that song. I also think of the mist function on the hose which doesn’t really spray and has no real purpose other than to “mist” the plants. It’s pretty useless actually.

In the shadows among the mist I saw him there lurking. My heart went wild with the curiosity of who might be standing there beyond that lung-concealing mist. As I made my way slowly over the the trees…I realized that I should have spent that time…running away.

life is a mist – a vapor – here today and gone tomorrow. will i remember the drops, the simple dew that was my past? the days of old never last.

It isn’t safe when it’s misty. The water in the air could be dangerous. It could be poisoned because of the unclean ocean and rivers. Nothing is safe here anymore. Not even food. We boil the water before we drink it, but sometimes I don’t think that’s enough. There is probably still radiation. And that is a scary thought. But hopefully one day it will all be fixed again.

Sierra Mist. It’s really just 7-up, isn’t it?

THe mist obscured the sun as he looked around the lifeless wasteland. Suddenly the mist beganto choke him. It felt slick and watery as it slid down his throat, slowly strangling him with every breath he took. The mist was so thick it was now impossible to see.

mist happens in the morning. Misty eyes happen when I don’t get my pills. Mist in my memories from last night as the mist rises off my body and hers.

The Mist seemed to lift from around his eyes–the rogue was dead, his best friend was safe… it gave him a sense of relief as total as the sun coming out from behind a cloud. His friend walked past him, huffing about how he coulda won…life went on as usual. Huh, dobe. Fuck you, teme. I saved your life. You got that now? I have strength.

Everything came from there. On the first day, she saw a baby cub materialize from that mist. On the next day it brought her a basket full of fruits.

Usually mist occurs on a hot humid morning. I am not a fan of mist because it makes my hair frizz and I no longer appear attractive. Mist sounds like such a beautiful word, but is obviously deceiving.

Do you see me through the misty glade? Never really, actually there. Please see me. Please, please notice me. I want you here, with me. To touch me. And just me. But it can’t be. I float in and out of existence. You can only see me through the mist.

I stared out into the misty air, wondering if I would ever see him again. It had been been months since we’d last seen each other or even talked, and he stood me up several times. But this time, I was sure that he would make it.

there was alot of mist, and it was very hard to see. Many little particles were going into my eyes, as i brush the particles away i was coughing alot. I soon had to sit down and put my hand over my face, the mist was very scary and i was

FUUUUUUUUUUUUU- I just crashed my car, the bloody mist fogged up my windscreen and I hit an old lady, then swerved into a police station. Im boned. GOD DAMN IT!
I hope the old lady survived, I don’t think she landed :\
I might go back and pick up the body for a good feed.

Her eyes misted over as she watched him drool, the saliva gathering on the mattress. Kissing his tiny little fingers, she choked back a noise in her throat and left him in the darkness.

Can be seen in cold winter days and nights. It can be produced by pollution and also by just really cold days.
It is normally in the early mornings and at late nights, mist also has alot of water substances in it.

the room is in a mist of steam. Her wet body touches mine, I gasp.
Open a window, you stink like shit.
There was a thick mist.
It was so thick I could barley breathe.
I could see a figure in the distance.
I knew it was him D:
A gentle mist over the freshly cut grass, Dad’s sod shines like the hope in his eyes that this economy will turn around.

This is when I turn on the nicer setting to spray plants, instead of shower or jet, because they are much too harsh. It is the euphemism. Euphemistm

misty is to summer as humidity is to fall where i live. on days that seem like they should be sunny there is a cloud that hangs over our town. whether it be precipitation or the memories of what once was, we may never know.

A mist has a haze, you see, it’s an amazing thing to watch in the morning. As crystals in the sky seem to stand still in time. There’s nothing more beautiful than a mist. It’s crystal clear and a thousand times better than an HD TV.
By Marisa Martina on 08.24.2010
I just got this word. I would like another one please.
What’s funny about mist?
Absolutely nothing…nothing whatsoever is funny about mist. It’s clear and frozen and seems to hang in the sky like decorations on a Christmas tree.
It was dark. Lara walked down to the water and sat on a rock. There was mist thickly coating the glassy water and she peered at her refection. What had she become?

in the dark mist the monster came out from the abyss and called to the night “where is my love” he couldnt find anyone out there, he looked deep inside and still couldnt muster much of any feelings. he cried and cried.

the mist was heavy, covered in dark grey tales to those who passed through it. Shelby hated driving through the mist, she hated feeling isolated and alone. the mist made her remember, the mist made her feel stranded.
By chadrick on 08.24.2010
the mist was all around us. we couldn’t see five feet in front of us, but we heard awful noises. like machinery that was going too fast, about to explode. i looked down at dalton and realized he had wet himself.
By Whitney on 08.24.2010
mist is like water in the sky, but it like, floats automagically in the ari and it can’t burn you, unless it’s really hot mist, but technically that would be steam. yeah. think about it.
