I, Mariana was imprisoned since i was 13, now i’m 15. I have tried multiple times to escape, but i walways seem to get caught. On Thursday May 9 1912 i escaped and i relized i left everyone i’ve ever cared about. As i walk alone i still feel imprisoned, not by the jail, but by my feelings.
The bars are cold but the breath on the back of his neck is warm, and too close. He didn’t deserve this, but who ever gets what they deserve. No one comes when he screams out, but his cellmate seems to enjoy the screaming.
I’m feeling the slow cold disturbing presence of dispaire creeping over my shoulders and up the back of my neck!
