  7. God is love, but God’s people can be huge creators of hate. I wish that more people followed in his example instead of trying to assume his power of judgement. Love is the movement, let it move you.

  8. Most morons confuse god with God. These terms are not the same.
I expect most of you will write of pains and cry, and against God disclaim.
Your ancestors you shame and many are jealous of God’s lasting fame.
Surely the being exist not, for an answer to your prayer ‘he’ truly forgot.
Your prayer’s lack of power from your lack of belief could be your blame.
Plus, your sincerity is questionable as most of you are egocentrical
and through wrong deeds show that you think life just a game.
So perhaps a tragedy is needed to have your mind mature and behavior tamed.

  9. Do I believe in you? I’m still not sure. Sometimes things fall into place. At other times they couldn’t be more chaotic. Is this some man looking over me and guiding me? It doesn’t feel that way.

  12. Oh, gods. Every time I see this word, my breath sticks in my throat like peanut butter. My mouth is as dry as the Sahara, and my eyes want to pop out of their sockets. Not that I didn’t believe in a God–no, I believed that God was real. It was, however, what I had done in the church that made me want to shrivel and die. She was really hot, I was really young, and the pews were highly uncomfortable.
    (Don’t take offense! Please.)

  16. God is creator. this god might be talking about god as in egyptian gods, where there are many. I believe in God, in one God. God is good.

  17. “Don’t bring god into this,” he snarls at me. His lip is curled back in savage malignancy, exposing teeth that are more nicotine stain than bone. “Men act this way of their own volition. There is not some man in the sky who makes them do these horrible things.” He brings his open-palmed hand down on his desk, hard. “Do you hear me?” he all but bellows.

I can only flinch in response. I wonder if he is one of the men he is describing.

  18. no offense to those who have their belief in the christian god, which is obviously the first thing to come to mind

  19. Nevertheless, she would still pray in the dying hours. The hours between light and dark, in the midst of waking dawn and quiet slumber.
I didn’t know if there was a god, only that I could breathe, and there was some light, somewhere, when I looked up.

  20. I believe in magic as much as I believe in God. Disney was always there for me. Moses, Cinderella, they’re both just really good stories. I believe in magic, because that’s what we did after church every Sunday, and everyone knows that Sundays are for believers.

  21. I don’t much believe in God; but I pray often for many things. I pray for my father’s cancer to be cured, and maybe that’s why I don’t believe, because my prayers are never answered. I only wish I could believe- but God has given me nothing to believe in. If He were to grand me the beauty of health for my father- perhaps that would change.

  22. i believe in God. He is my savior. My Father. i have a great relationship with Him. He is my father and i am His princess. he has everything under control while im along for the ride. i trust him with all my life. i give him everything.

  23. The god looked down upon the lowly people beneath him. He oft wondered to himself how he should let them go on to exist as they did. They didn’t even recognize him, let alone give him praise. What did he get out of it? It all seemed to be some huge mistake to let them be.

  24. I don’t think that there is one god. I think that as long as someone believes in their own god, or someone else’s then that god will exist. It may not exist to one person, but to the one that believes, it will exist for them.

    by Tara on 07.01.2013
  25. Oh my god. God! What can I write about god?
Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.
    :)

  26. god is god, it what you make of it.

  27. It was a god beyond our existence. He did things that were godlike. He was strong. He was fierce. Nothing could make him cower in fear. He was like a boulder. Yet, he was saving the rest of us even though he could easily abandon us. Easily abandon us for a different race, yet he was kind enough to stay with us…

  28. Who is god anyway? I think it is in all our natures to look up and wonder, but what we all expect to find is somewhat different.

  29. Omnipotent some say, I’m not certain I necessarily agree with that sentiment. I have a difficult time ascertaining my feelings when it comes to thoughts of a monotheistic higher power. I wouldn’t say that I am opposed to

  32. Who is up there and why do we ask? This is something we always question and may never get an answer. But if there are people out there who still hope to look up and see something i cant. Then its not my place to tell them what the cloud looks like.

    by Matthew Hart on 07.01.2013
  33. The concept of God has kept some of the more religious members of our group going for some time. Even though they may not be strong, the thought that there is a divine entity watching out for them and may grant them salvation if they were to die valiantly and sinlessly, or something along those lines. However, I hadn’t been religious for a long time. When I was young, I lost many people who were important to me. Then I started to lose myself. There were visions, dreams, crippling chronic pains, and, what was probably the worst part of all, I started to see this… thing wherever I went. I never figured out exactly what it was, but it was gruesome. The thought of it sends shivers down my spine. Although there may very well be a God, I learned a long time ago that he’s forsaken me. Why else would this happen?

  37. Godlike, he stood above her and looked down, smiling cruelly. “Well.” he said, “What have we here?”

“Oh, bug off.” she said, and spat at his feet.

The man’s expression did not change, though his eyes crinkled infintessimally. “‘Bug off?'” he repeated, “I am not familiar with that term.”

“It means go drop off the face of a mountain.” she said, and spat at his feet again.

“You’re going to dehydrate like that.” he noted.

  38. Religion scares me, who could God be? Is what they say really true.. How could we ever really know. I mean, lets get real here.. sure we have the bible and the stories it tells but what if none of that is true? Afterall, whose to say God is a white man with a beard? I believe in a higher power, but I’m not so sure I believe in god.

  39. There was a time, once, when the bones of the earth were bound together by an ancient power, and the trees whispered amongst themselves, and the mountains contained an infinite wisdom wisdom – and in the dark of the ageless wood, the false god remained still in eternal slumber.
