  1. Gifts are great. Except when you have to pick a gift for a girlfriend, they are less great. How is one suppose to pick a gift for a girlfriend. One may argue that you should know her well enough by now, it should be simple. Its hard to understand what hidden message may be interpreted.

    Give.

    Why squander and hate?
    Why destroy and create violence?
    Love.
    Give.

  8. I want a gift of a pony. Even better would be a unicorn. Unicorns are sparkly and have horns. Also unicorn blood keeps you young, or so they say. Mostly I just like the way they glitter. Glitter is my favorite thing to say right now. However, a pony would be a good substitute. But I cannot promise that I wouldn’t cover it with glittery things.

  11. She had always considered it a gift, but now it seemed more like a curse. Everyone knew what this present was, despite someone’s obvious desire to disguise it, for out through the top past the ribbon, poked a blunt, black hook, hinting at the umbrella inside.

  20. This is the second time in less than ten minutes that I am writing something from the word “gift.” I don’t know exactly why I suddenly feel the urge to write, because it’s been months since I’ve really felt like writing anything at all. Perhaps because on this site, pressure is put on me, and I’ve always managed to do things quicker and easier under pressure. The quality isn’t exactly as great as it can be. Right now, though, I’m just happy I’m writing again. Pressure, what a precious gift you are.

  21. I bought a gift for my 1-year-old niece today. It’s her birthday. Time has flown so fast. I remember the first time I saw her, nine months ago. She had just arrived from Washington. I saw her in person and she was three months old, hardly bigger than my arm. From the moment I knew that she was my brother’s kid, for some reason, I knew I’d love her to pieces.

  25. “Walk the plank! Walk the plank!” the shout carried across the water. One-eyed Steven stood at the edge of the board and stared at the churning surf below. “But I didn’t do nuthin’ cap’n,” he implored to the Pirate Captain. “You shaved his belly with a rusty razor,” the Captain accused. “And that means you walk the plank!” “Aye aye, sir.” Steven gathered his courage. He walked back to the far end of the board, ran to the edge, and cannonballed into the city pool.

  30. Christmas has always been my favourite time of year. It’s the time to give, share and recieve gifts with you friends and family. A gift can be as simple as a smile, or kiss to that special someone in your life. Or it can be as extravagant as a car or diamond necklace. But always remember, its always the thought that counts.

  31. I’ve never felt like I’ve had anything to give the world. I know other people who think they’re God’s gift to Earth, but I’ve never had a reason to feel that way – whether in looks, talent, or basic intelligence.
