  1. hard liquor. bourbon. that must be the kentucky girl in me coming thru. i remember the smell of the distilled spirits on my mother’s breath as she’d lean on me and hug me. she’d be asking me if i loved her. she wanted reassurance. i just wanted to get away from her and her bourbon breath.

  3. Distilled, i wrote about it yesterday before i signed up and when i was writing about it the timer was not working. I think the timer was getting distilled. I heard the distilling water is not a very long process to do but i guess distilling time is.

  5. distilled water, what’s the point of it. I don’t really taste any difference. I remember using distilled water for a science project and I asked why coulden’t just use tap water. I still never got that answer.

  6. I am thinking of water. Cool refreshing water. It comes in a jug and you buy it at the store. I use it for labs in science. It has a blue label on the jug. You can get it at any grocery store. I would not drink distilled water.

Because in every storm, there are benefits. A silver lining in the clouds. But the sun is right behind the cloud. Still shining. Its not gone, just hiding.

  20. we drank it. it burned like hell. it was like gasoline, as if we had ever tried to drink gas. But he said it was how it was done. i don’t think it was the right way to do it. but we drank it anyway.

His intention had been to make it beautifully purple, but now it looked more like mushy green with slimy brown chunks swimming in it. May if he would distill it? The smell was still quite right, he was sure that the women keen on spraying toxic on their bodies would buy it, at least if it was sold in a designer bottle.

  23. My world shook. How could this be? What sort of revelation was this? I knew of some sort that the events had a probable chance of occurring but this was too much. I felt sick to my stomach. If she knew, how could she betray me? She was always the intuitive one.

  25. I looked at the perfectly crafted barrel, the circumference looking as if it had been drawn out with a protractor. I could hear the bubbles of the yeast in the background, turning all that precious sugar into the nectar the town craved for so badly.

    I could hear the footsteps of the mayor pounding away on my floor boards upstairs.

    I only had a few hours to get this batch distilled.
