  1. It was a stupid thing we did. We were young.

If you count yesterday as younger…

But it didn’t matter. We discovered what we never even thought we could ever find, in a million years.

We were outcasts. Hated by society, probably because of our blue hair. But that day, it didn’t matter.

Her eyes were changing colors as fast as the sun that was setting behind me. We stared at each other a long time that day. Like a kaleidoscope.

But nothing mattered that day, all the trouble we got in was nothing compared to what we discovered that day.

And as much as it doesn’t seem like there are words to describe it, there are. There’s one word. And it’s got only four letters instead of being one of those impossible-to-pronounce words that nobody’s ever heard of.

    Love.

  9. Discovering that what we had was not as simple as it seemed
at first we were just us
    and it grew
    and grew
until even i do not know what is left
    and what will be left
if it all crumbles down to the ground
i just want to save us
i don’t think we could survive again
as we are still so broken now
    if it were to fall
    our pieces
i do not think any one could put back together

  13. There are good discoveries and there are bad discoveries. Its usually pretty obvious which is good and which is bad. To find out that your girlfriend never much cared for you and that she laughed with her friends about your lame hobbies and hygiene habits =OBVIOUSLY BAD.

  21. Looking around, nothing was where I thought it should be. Had’t I just lain my head to the pillow? I had heard my alarm, that much I knew. But I was still hearing it. Where is it? Is that it? The noise seems to be coming from it. A bird? No, it’s metal. A robot then. Where /am/ I? This bed is not mine, it is made of some metal I’ve never seen. Oh, I’ve gotten up and it is disappearing? Why did it do that? Sensors? There? In the wall? If I press, will it come back?

  22. I hadn’t left the room for a week. That discovery had sent me into a shell-like state. I only ate what was forced down my throat. only changed my clothes when someone else did it.

  25. He discovered the taste of coffee incredibly good — and though it was hot against his tongue, it was better than anything he had ever tasted in the nights before. He swallowed the coffee and took another sip, discovering the same flavor easily, and he stopped for a bit to search his mates’s facial expressions as they drunk as well. They seemed extremely tired, extremely exhausted, eyes not even lit up, as though they did not enjoy their coffee, but he … he liked it.
