  15. I was thinking about decorations for my life, and i wasnt precisly sure about what I need to make it look like a holiday for myself, like the emotion of a festival for my own life. You, know? 16. An empty room. The place was barren. Undecorated. Unfurnished. Plain white ceiling and a plain white floor. Simply empty. That is exactly what the man wanted. A clean canvas, a free space, a new beginning. He hoped that this would be a fresh start. He hoped that this place would remain pure. He hoped he wouldn’t have to stain these walls with red.

I love jewelry and clothes and color and spirited objects that remind me of the person who I want to be in my life. 27. The plastic bulbs of electric light illuminated the Christmans tree with such brilliancy that I could hardly stand to look upon it. Glowing orbs of various colors were hung within the branches, the needles of the natrual pine giving off such a sensational scent that I couldn’t help but gawk in its presence.

  28. The decorations for the halloween party were scattered about the gym, ghosts, goblins and spiders. But the scariest thing in the room was not on the wall or hanging from the ceiling, it was standing in the corner looking at the guests and wondering who would make the best meal. After a long inner debate I decided that it would be Vicki the queen bee, the one responsible for all of the horrid decorations. Besides she smelt faintly like chocolate and i haven’t had chocolate in months.

They were blue and orange and yellow. Father’s favorites.

  33. The boxes came out of the attic on the 18th of December. We had all been too busy and distracted to think about Christmas. Mom’s illness was the one thought that rang in our minds, louder than any bells, glaring with a blinding effect that outshone any twinkling lights.
