“CHARGER!” Ellis leapt out of the way, tucking and rolling along the ground as the giant muscled creature roared and rushed past him. The rest of the team fled in the other direction; Rochelle and Nick were already firing like mad, and Coach was scrambling to his feet. Ellis hopped up, too, shouldering his shotgun.
“That shit ain’t cool,” he muttered.

The beat of cavalry sounded over the hills, and I prayed we would be safe at home. Let no one lust after my cattle for meat, or try to burn my home. We’re not part of this. Leave us alone.

He ran, charging the lion. But the lion fought back. He couldn’t save himself from the treacherous claws and teeth that came at him and defeated him. He fell into complete darkness as the lion took over… So much for the charge…

I know that I need to learn, how to take lead, to become not just someone, but to be in the front, to take charge. Taking charge means you know what you are doing, and what to do, and make others do for you, as the most important factor. There are people who watch, there are people who follow, and there are those who lead, who show people, and take charge.

Charge makes me think instantly of ‘the charge of the light brigade’ which is referenced in the Blindside as Big Mike writes his assignment on it. I don’t know much about it except that it’s about soldiers charging and then dying at war. Charge is also something that helps my i phone to work and I would be at a loss without it.

Take charge in your life, fight for what you believe is right! but don’t be afraid to accept help from others, showing respect and gratitude for ones attempt at helping you through difficult times can lead to much appreciated alliances to further your cause.

When someone is in control, they are the one’s in “charge.” This word gives power. It is strong, and somewhat bold. It makes me feel like someone is coming at me, like they are charging. It is a powerful word and it has many meanings. Mostly positive, unless charging expensively for items!
By Elena on 10.20.2012
Taking charge is difficult- you ned a balance too much is dangerous not enough is ineffective- You nee to show respect and demand it as well- someone has to take charge to make things happen to fruition

The colonel hollered, “Take charge of things Belvedere!” No response came. Now seriously irritated, the colonel bellowed, “Belvedere, come HERE boy!” Still no response. “Insubordinate!” the colonel grumbled on his way to Belvedere’s station. He pounded on the roof of the dog house. “BOY! Show your delinquent self immediately!” No response from within the house. The squat colonel grunted as he bent to look inside, where he beheld a sick dog who must have given Miss Alister this nasty virus that’s causing her to hark back to old cartoons…

I had always been in charge of taking the trash out. Always. Why would she order someone else to do it? Maybe this was something good after all? Maybe I could actually get something positive out of this horrible situation? It wasn’t likely, but apparently Mom found a new slave to do the chores.

Why do I always get charge? Alright, when I see it I can think about my Iphone when I always charge it at the end of the day…it’s a disaster if I forget. Also I can think about money…you are charged a certain amount of money for a certain service. Everything’s about money really…

I want to take charge of my life and know where I am going in life. I dont want other people to decide for me. I want me to be in charge and no one can tell me what to do. Only I can decide my life and no one not even my mother can be in charge of me.

I want to be in charge of my own life. I dont want any one else to tell me what to do and not even my family can be in charge of me. I want to take charge and do something good in the world and not just sit around watching others take charge. It’s my life to live and it’s my turn to take charge.

This is bad. I never thought you were going to do this to me! charge me for what? For my love for you? For my honest feelings? No, look at me. Look at my eyes! Tell me, I am lying!
Everyone wanted to be in charge. No one was willing to step down and follow orders. The result was mass confusion and nothing productive was accomplished.

sometime we have to take charge of our lives
stray away from all the negativity
even the very things that u can not control
when ur feeling low take the opportunity to do something nice for a complete stranger
call a loved one just to remind them that you still love them
ot only will u find yourself in a better state but you will reap the rewards of karma
after all u get back only wat u decide to give out

I fumbled through my pocket until I gathered every coin I had. I counted out 36 cents and set it on the counter in front of me. The old lady next to me looked at me and smiled, “I’ll pay for the cents.” I smiled at her and took my place in line behind her. The clerk scowled at me as soon as I walked up to pay for my gummy worms. The gummy worms were only $1.50. Before he rung up my candy, the screen that told me the amount I had to pay already had $2.00 showing. After he rung up my candy and put it in the bag, I handed him $1.50. “Keep the change.” I said, and grabbed my gummy worms and left.

there was mouse, a cat, and a little piece of cheese, They are staring, at the piece, of cheese, a simple scrap for the humans, but a meal for them. The cat pounced, as the the mouse scampered, as they charged to that cheese. For the mouse it was the cheese, but for the cat, well we all know what dinner he was after.

chargee!!!!! the voice made my jump out of my skin as i saw hundreds of cavalry men charging towards my batallion!!!! it gave me a sudden realization that the different moments that i had visualized in my head as a little child whenever i saw my father in his uniform going to battle are now materializing infront of me and i am by no means worthy or brave enough to do service to my familys great legacy!. thinking of all the expectations i had promised to live up to i steeled my nerves and gave out a loud yell and charged off towards the enemy

To battle stations, men!
Now is the day to win it all.
Line up in rows,
Behind the court lords and ladies
Will stand and cheer,
Though mightier all
Than those sent first.
The opposition seems
To be of similar mind;
Look how they mirror our own ranks,
Direct against our line.
They seem differed
But by appearance,
And only slight at best,
But I digress;
Charge forth ye mighty,
Headstrong pawns –
Let’s start this game of chess!

The charge in that kiss was more than it should’ve been. It was electric. It was a spark that almost made me want to jump back, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t pull away and he knew that. He took advantage of that. I’m almost glad he did. I really am.

He has this
strange sort of cynicism
The kind that allows for hope
[but not the word itself].
In his mind
he is the monk,
He leads the charge against injustice
and he fights the demons of the world
I See You
I Know You
and the shadows run.

Charge into the open with fist in the air, teeth clenched around tongue, and eyes wide to the nothingness. Charge into the sky only to fall, falling still, and yet still. The world becomes still as you reach the singularity, the point of no return. The question escapes the mind quicker than the speed of light. Quantum entanglement, the process of life after death, life before death, all time at once and never at all. Charge the creator for the price of the fallen. The count was beyond reason; someone had to be held responsible.
