What you eat when it is too late for breakfast and not lunch time yet. Sometimes it is a very special meal, othertimes it just happens that way. There are lots of breakfast foods and also some lunch foods. The desserts is the great thing about having bruch.

It’s not quite a lunch, it’s not quite a breakfast. It’s both. And after brunch you’re hungry and waiting for lunch. And there isn’t gonna be one. So brunch = shit.
By aebaetb on 03.09.2012
We were brunching in a small cafe sipping tea and biscuits, yet these were actually cookies, unlike the american sense of the word biscuits were not a flaky breaded pastry meant for gravy or butter but instead a sweet treat for a summer afternoon tea.

I went on a brunch with my mother and her mother. We sat and reminisced among the big brown trees and the ducks wading across the water near our table. It was still. It was free. Until we remembered tradition, and differences. Then it all changed.

i like to have brunch with my buddies, it consists of breakfast and lunch. Although usually when i wake up i have missed it, as it is about 2 o’clock and its time for lunch. by the time im ready its closer to dinner time. i am poor and have no food though, so i dont really eat at all. So, i dont eat brunch basically. the end.

Brunch, seems interesting. It’s just a time to eat. Even though nobody really writes about it, I’m supposed to. So, it’s actually simple, casual, a time where the strict hours to eat such as breakfast and lunch are not applied and made into an improvised time to eat, brunch. Even though there isn’t a big difference with the other times to eat, brunch is simplicity in it’s all, no sticking to the schedule, just brunch.

Brunch is a meal people sometimes have between breakfast and lunch. You could have little sandwiches and tea at brunch.

on the corner
we drank chocolate shakes
for hours and hours
belgian waffle eyes
sunken in and the syrup
leaked from them into

My mother used to have a teal plastic plate set. Possibly Bakelite. VERY teal with some lighter shades of teal and some white/yellow/green daisies. She used these outside when she had guests over for a special occasion, like brunch. Funny to me that a set of plastic plates was perceived by me to be the “special” plates :)

the brunch of tree was shivering from the cold. it was all alone, all leaves left it. no flowers, nothing. but it knew that soon will come the spring, and little kids will come to her, and eventually they will grow up. everything will be amazing.. it knew it.

I was dreading this brunch like no other I’d ever had in my life. I haven’t seen this girl in 20 years, since we had a falling out in college. I don’t remember her fondly. She calls me out of the blue and wants to get together. For brunch. And I stupidly say yes.

She was sitting at brunch, enjoying a solo meal, when all of a sudden, she saw him. Her heart skipped a beat. He was as gorgeous as ever. She started shaking, just like she did back then. And then he noticed her. The big, familiar smile spread across his face.
The meal between breakfast and lunch, people eat stuff at this time, but only snobs call it brunch right? I don’t think I have used the word brunch more than maybe 3 times in my life. Writing this article, I’m sure I’ll say it more than I have in the last 20 years. I don’t see the point of saying brunch.
