fangs

Fangs rhymes with bangs, and the two actually seem to be quite similar. Fangs typically dangle from the upper gums in a mouth, and bangs hang loosely over one’s forehead. Fangs, however, tend to be more ominous than bangs.

tallest

I’ve always been the tallest while growing up. I was the tallest girl in my dance class, in my school classes, in pretty much everything. Even in high school. It wasn’t until I was in college that I started catching up to everyone else. Or rather, they caught up to me. Even then I was pretty tall for a girl.

rustling

The leaves became orange as the autumn trees blew into their branches. Crispy brown and red leaves fall onto the ground. I softly step on them as the rustling foliage can be felt in between my toes.

Desolate plains, next to the coast, a small nunnery, a female stands, dressed as a nun, on the cliff edge looking out at the ocean. She contemplates her safety, was it truly worth that innocent’s man life to hide her here?

beach

He took her hand in his, giving her a small smile. They both turned to gaze at the setting sun as it dipped gradually below the horizon. Waves rolled back and forth in front of them, the ocean nearly reaching their sand covered feet.

tide

the tides roll in
the tides roll out
nothing, and i mean nothing compares to this
hungry waves crash and yearn for the sand
but are swept in by the magnetic pull
of the center of the sea
never to see
their destination

Strung neck. Hanging. The gallows.

Strung. String.

spine

My spine was fractured. The blood dripped down my back and I grimaced – war was not as glamorous as I had thought. World War II was just beginning and I was a part of the madness, stuck in the middle, begging for an escape. Just great. I left home for this? What other wonders would lie ahead for me? If any..the thought struck me as quickly as I had realized that I felt no pain. Or any sensation whatsoever below the waist. I cursed every deity I’d ever known. This was getting better by the minute.

gong

The church gong rang, as it did every day at noon. However, it was not signaling an hour of the day, this time. As the city frantically packed their bags and left their homes, the reverberating sound was more hostile than it had ever sounded before.

The loud resounding sound of the bell echoed in the halls of the Manor. The children perked up at the sound and scurried to the front of the house to see what the surprise was.

industry

Today the industry market is taking over the consumers mind, all we are programmed to do is buy buy buy, and we get no profit from it than a small satisfaction and happiness that lasts as long as it takes to boil an egg. We live in a material world, the way they want it to be.

tea

I love tea so incredibly much. I drink at least one mug everyday, sometimes two or three. My absolute favorite is Mint Medley, but Constant Comment is yummy too. I think all these “tea parties” dumping tea in the ocean are stupid. Why waste perfectly good tea to make a political statement?
