I was at odds with myself, trying to figure out the best possible academic option for my daughter. I’ve made the decision to go forward, what are the odds that it may have been a bad idea? We should know in a few short weeks. For now, I am hopeful. What are the odds that in 60 seconds, I am stopped from typing? It seems like I’ve been typing forever, and honestly I don’t type very fast.

I am unable to function when I have a headache. It’s amazing how much it takes out of me. I just want to curl up in a dark warm space and close my eyes.

a big, spiky, green plant found pretty much any where in the world, though more common in desserts/hot climates. They’re spiky and if you touch them they’ll pretty much make your hands bleed. :P

It was stunning. She was stunning. The gown fit like a glove and was the color of the sky in the early morning. Off the shoulder it was backless, showing her tattoo with pride. It went against her mother’s wishes, to see that beast lurking on her shoulder. To see it staring back at her. But even so, she was stunning. The gown was the perfect match for her.

a joining. brilliant, because one alone is never enough. sometimes too much, but that’s the story of life. we only know our limits once we have far surpassed them so there was never a chance that we could use things in our limits. that’s okay, though. we’ll still have fun with things as they are

Ah, epiphanies are amazing. Aren’t they just the point of day-to-day living? When you have one, it’s just the culmination of everything, and suddenly everything makes sense. It reminds me of the bit in Douglas Adams’ So Long and Thanks for All the Fish – when Fenchurch talks about years of unnoticed worry just dropping away, like a stick being watered, like black and white becoming technicolour… Awesome.

He was my husband. Or at least, that’s what he was supposed to be. He never really filled the role. See, being a husband implies you love your wife. You promise to stay by her side, till death do you part. He never did that for me. He was gone more than he was home, and if he ever did come back dinner would be cold. Lipstick would be smudged on his neck, and perfume scented his clothes. Barely six months into our marriage, and I realized I made the biggest mistake of my life. He wasn’t my husband. He was hers.

A radical. Radical, or extreme. Look down on radicals? Look down on those who live life to the extreme? Why should we only be blasé? Screw that. Let’s join the radicals.

dull unicorns. unicorns aren’t even real. like everyone makes them out to be this super exciting mystical creature. In reality the only way to “make” a unicorn is to take your everyday horse and put a cone on its head. Which i’m sure the horse wouldnt be to happy about . It’ll probably feel like it has a dunce cap on.

Morality. Really, its a pretty judgemental word. Because who’s to say what exactly is morally right or wrong?

I suppose the world keeps going because of physics, but why do we keep going? Think about it. One word comes to my mind: beauty, love, and a connection with others, nature, and what makes one happy. It’s simple but so many fail to see it.

When I was in third grade I was alone on the playground on the wobbly bridge. Some kids ran past while playing tag and I fell and bit holes in my tongue. I remember passing my best friend who I was fighting with and she didn’t care.

I don’t have a lot of fond memories of being young. I was outcastes and made fun of. I ate lunch alone and had very few friends. I hated recess an break time. I hated school in general…at least the social aspects anyway. Kids are cruel and judgemental. The playground is where dreams were made and crushed. Guess the “real” adult world is just a bigger version of that.

At lunch one day, I had pb&j, but really didn’t want it, so I asked my friend, Joe, to trade with me. He had a ham & cheese, but really, I hate ham, so I wanted to untrade, but he wouldn’t, so I had to find someone else to trade with. No one else wanted to trade, because apparently everyone else also hates ham & cheese, or at least ham. So I dumped the sandwich and bought fries instead.

Bugs. Ugh. Yuck bed bugs. Never had em. Never eaten a bug either. Wouldn’t mind trying them if they were prepared right…and u didn’t know what I was eating. Insects don’t have to be just bugs though. They can be people too. Like leeches. Feeding off everything you have. I hate stingy bugs. Like bees. Maybe I’m more scared than full of hate. I just don’t like em. But j don’t mind crickets. I can even pick them up. But just to save their lives…and for good luck. Man a minute is really long. Wonder how long it feels to an insect?

those frickin annoying things that always climb on you and just eat everything. then they start making you paranoid because you keep feeling their little legs going up and down your legs and such. and then they go to your house looking for food and that sucks.

Is a thing that goes with pepper. I hear it kills snails and stuff. It also makes people fat and is on french fries and some people put it on potatoes I think. That’s a bit weird. That’s also a movie with Angelina Jolie. There’s salt in the ocean and it makes my skin clear and clean. Sodium something

Ship beneath the water, my heart when my love leaves me. The feeling in my stomach when i get bad news. The emotion i feel at all the wrong times. A moment i can never forget, but long to. A scary moment without the ability to control the outcome-powerless.

Poison is the definition of our society. We are poisoned by media, fast food chains, propaganda. I hate being poisoned.

there was a taxi cab, it was yellow. inside there was a young girl, with blonde hair and brown eyes and long eyelashes and she was walking down a street carrying her small white dog while suddenly there’s a man who approaches her with a knife and tries to kill her but the puppy bites him

i miss my Sam when i don’t see him which is most of the time and I’m scared that when i get a job and go to uni that I’m never going to see him at all because I’ll be too busy working and studying and that it will put a strain on the relationship.

I am glad to finally feel better. This stomach flu has been a real pain. Being sick is never fun. Now it’s time to get back to work. If only stumble upon wouldn’t treat me to such cool pages like this one and keep me distracted.

i like megaphones. i used to have a big blue one that i won at a school fundraiser. it kinda sucked though because my family would always steal it from me. but thats the only time ive used one. my band director uses one for marching band. i LOVE marching band! except we kinda suck. but the megaphone helps for sureee! it makes people listen, especially the freshmen. i was a freshman once, but i was never as bad at marching badn as some of the new freshmen are. noobs. haha. hmm, i dont really know a lot about mega phones except that they make stuff louder. i kinda want one now. i should buy one. i wonder how expensive they are, or what colors they come in, or how loud they are… these are are all such important questions to ask…i just dont know what to do! what if i can’t afford it?? i really dont make that much money, i only teach pinao lessons for less than 5 hours a week. ya know, there are some people who work 20 times as long as me a week. now, they get paid a lot more than me, but its quite the crazy thought! well, hmm. megaphones. nothin really much to say here. i want one. that is all. hwen will this timer go off? hasn’t it been a minute yet ?!?! a;sdlga;gk i don’t know anything about megaphones! wait a minute, i think it just started over…ugh now i have to talk about megaphones for a whole bunch loner! great, just great. i feel totally insane right now because i feel like im talking to no one except this computer (which sucks because this computer is ridiculously slow) but since computers really dont listen, i more feel like im talking to myself, which makes me feel like a crazy person.yeah, there’s definitely a lag so this is for surely more than a minnute.i think we just passed the thirty second mark. UGH. well, unrelated to megaphones, i went to olive garden tonight! and then to steves house where we played civillization 5 ! it was quite fun! no megaphones involved though. :(. oh well. hmm megaphones. they are loud, yes indeed. and have batteries. triple a? double A?

» Posted By Steph On 07.19.2011 @ 8:49 pm

the man with the megaphone was purely insane. insane but genius. what he was saying really took my heart into hold. my mind was totally wrapped around his words and thoughts he was so courageously sharing with the rest of the world. it was incredible. i wish i could be as brave as him. to be that free without worry, without fear of being judged.
