I press onward through the snowy landscape, my legs aching and my fingers frozen against my walking stick. I know my time has come, but I refuse to give in. If this is the end, I welcome it, but I will move ahead.

have you ever felt the filth beneath your toes,
and wondered who had stood that very place before
who left flakes of skin,
and strands of hair that make the dust which you now sweep?

Life should be about experience. Without experience, you can only hope for a long and cold life. We need to rethink life.

He sat in the barrel for hours waiting until the coast was clear. The ship rocked back and forth. “This will be my death bed” he thought.

Scattering of people.
Scattering of leaves.
Smattering of ideas.
Splattering of paint.
Platform of civility.
Formation of life.

The water stired with a demented swirl as the deep threatend to swallow the boat whole. I looked into the sky above and saw only a promise of wind and a torrent of rain.

He saw himself in a mirror. The mirror and the image contained did not belong to him. He asked himself what all of these impressions and ideas within himself meant.

Local is where I am from. It is difficult to set the boundaries, but I know when I am home. It is the place of familiarity. It is the grocery store, the gas station, the post office. It is everything I know in my little “local” world.

Squares have four sides. Like prison cells they trap their contents inside. There is no escape. There is no way out. All that exists in the square existed before the walls were established. Likewise, we build our walls around ourselves. Trapping ourselves in our self doubt, fear, inhibitions, and insecurities.

and after about 10 seconds I start typing. I think waiting until it is too late to take action, perfectionism, and procrastination are dangerous for lawyers.

The man walked alone through the desert. As the sun reached it’s zenith over his head, he found himself standing alongside a recently dug grave. He wondered who it contained, where they had been, and where they were going before life took them away and buried them in the ground.

There is no way to write about the word “since”. Unless you mean the etymological roots of the word or the way it’s used in everyday speech, then this directive was incorrect in syntax. I know I’m supposed to write about some event that happened in my life and write some creative story based off of it like, “Ever since my Mother died I haven’t been the same; I’ve appreciated life far more than I ever could’ve imagined.” But I’m not going to do that SINCE it makes no sense given your basic instructions.

He always thought he was the dominant one in the relationship. He was the pursued, not the pursuer. That was until the day that she left without the word. There was just a short letter on the table.

The sum of everything about a situation is what I see as the scene. But not everyone sees the same scene. Every aspect of that image is colored by our memories and biases to produce our own interpretations of the “scene”

Walls are for keeping things in and others out. We put up walls not only to shelter ourselves from others, but to protect the ones we love from our dangerous volatile thoughts. The walls contain the tiny explosions of emotion not meant for the outside world, but meant only for the confines of self

They began with the end, as backwards as it seems. They did it the opposite way, and I am left picking up the ending and moving it to the beginning, just so we don’t get lost. I can see them through the windows though pretending to be happy.

They always use the word together. We’ll go together here and we’ll go together there, but I am always, always left standing asking when…where. Why didn’t you call me. if we were suppose to do this together you would have remembered I am not psychic

we are all together as one. no matter how bad or good it gets… we are still very tiny in our universe and we must remain together.

sizzle and burn that’s the way he like it. Fried up to perfection with nothing other than oil. it always smelt horrible in our house in the morning, but how could I deny him his one joy. Sometimes I have that very same breakfast just to remember him.

It was a time of relaxation. At least that was what I was supposed to be doing here at the spa, but the thoughts in my mind continued to spin out of control. There was no place where I was safe from them.

My failure was my salvation. It was only when I had been beaten, past the point of redemption, that I no longer had to play by their rules. I was free, saved from a live of monotony.

Magazines are a dying breed. It saddens me because I have so loved reading them in the past. i have learned so much from them and will always be grateful.

Heavy bindings restricting movement. These our the limitations imposed by ourselves and our peers on our progress. Telling ourselves whats possible, whats safe, what makes sense. Breaking the bondage of these thoughts and beliefs is the only way to achieve excellence

Half my life spent waiting, pondering, debating. Half of my life was spent for that perfect moment. Now I realize that while I was waiting, the moment came and passed me by. I sit in the ruins of a lifetime, and I feel nothing for the things around me. They were the artifacts of someone else’s dreams and someone else’s goals.

Porter, like a porter house steak?

Yeah man? What, were you thinking teleporter?

Such a nerd…

The sandwich is pretty good. A little too greasy for my tastes, but it’s philly, and everything is slipped between two slices of bread and gnoshed on here. Even a whole 16 Oz steak.

I don’t dare, but I have. I dare all the time – live a life of daring, but stupid dares – the not-thinking kind, the not justice-kind are the ones I want to avoid. Daring living, where you break out of life’s mold, that’s the dare for me. I’m not so sure about others – are they asleep or is it a case of simple-minded YOLO?

fuses are something to do with electricity, we learnt about it in GCSE physics. if something goes wrong with a circuit the fuse breaks and it stops you DYING FROM ELECTROCUTION, so pretty damn useful I think. and it stops the circuit from dying too. FUCKING ANNOYING when they break and all the electricity goes out when you’re owning and you forget to save though. THE END :(

icing is a term that is used to describe the topping that is put on cake or other pastries. to me, however, icing is a term that means a foul play in ice hockey. sending the puck down the ice behind the center red line and having to go past the opposing teams goal line without a player touching it is icing.
