You will be missed. We mourn your passing ever day, every minute, every second. Every breath i breathe in reminds me of that time in the garden, where you held your breath until you went purple. Yes, you will be missed, and dearly.

the purple deer was running in the street when a big car came. The deer stopped and looked at the car, scared beyond all reason. The driver slammed his breaks on, swerving to avoid the deer, who had bolted behind a tree. The car burned rubber and slid into a stop sign. The deer went over to see if the driver was alright.

We approached the country lane with carelessness, recklessness. We sped along the road, music blaring and spirits high. We sang and laughed and kissed until we hit something. A deer. A deer lay in front of the car unmoving.

I hope i succeed. This doesn’t mean that i want a lot of money, or a huge house in the countryside. No, i want to succeed at something which i’m currently failing at; being happy. The success rate is high amongst most teenagers, so i hope i’ll succeed, one day. Until then i shall try and fail and try again to succeed.

being successful means that you have to learn to accomplish your goals. and to accomplish your goals, you have to work hard in life. succeeding in life doesn’t just come to your feet. you have to work for it. doctors go through many years of medical school, and lawyers go through many years of law school. it’s not easy to succeed.

I can’t. I don’t know how. Someone tell me, draw me a map. I need directions to this unreachable place. this peak, this crescendo.

Repeat. Do to again. To replay. I like to repeat things in my head that make me feel that warm jumpy feeling of exhilaration that makes my day. Songs that power any type of emotion, whether it be happiness, anger, or sorrow, always go on repeat because they strike something inside of me, an imaginative and inspirational thing.

She is hanging on a thread about to snap. Below her, a drop of over 33000 feet awaits, should she let go? Her scream freezes in her throat, her eyes shut. The thread snaps.

what happens when people misbehave.

Near. I just want you near, holding me so tightly that i can’t breathe. I need you, you’re the only one who can stop me from doing this to myself. Please. Be near me again. I can’t take it anymore.

I discovered why you’ve disappeared. The emails, the letter, the signs; the were all pointing in this direction. My hand is on the handle, quivering as i press down and push forwards to find nothing but a chair and a suitcase.

I like driving. I do it a lot. I think I’m pretty good at it now. i don’t like it so much in the dark though. i sometimes wonder if I have night-blindness… at least a bit. I don’t like being too hot in my car – so I have the windows open most of the time. I didn’t want to learn to drive initially, I thought I’d die in a crash like Marc Bolan. But now I couldn’t get by without it – I wouldn’t be able to get to gigs, and earn money. Annoying to drive when you want a drink!

The brick is something that is easily thrown, but only in slapstick situations. It is more of a stepping stone that is used for the small and the strong willed to gain higher ground- a soap box for the smurfs. Bricks are fantastic torture instruments, but only for boredom.

If I had wings, even just for a day, I know exactly what I would do. I’d fly off, as far as I can go and leave all my worries behind. I’d be happy, as high as I can be in the sky, completely fearless and happy. If I had wings, I would fly away anytime I got angry. I’d lift my wings and just go.

A band is one of the hardest things to make. You need not only musical talent, but a special bond. One that will withstand the trials of fights, different opinions, and possibly fame. Fame is what tears most bands apart. If you have both of these things, then a great musical band is formed.

Thunder is beautifully underrated. Everyone sees the lightning and is in awe, but it is really the thunder that makes the storm. The shaking of the windows, the trembling of the air, thunder brings these beautiful elements into the storm. Without it, lightning would stand alone, still a great sight, but nothing is as good if you steal its thunder.

an illness, a sickness of the mind. or is it a disease? no, to be ill is to be mad. but what is mad? madness is when the reality in which you live is different from that of others. but that makes it no less beautiful, in fact, each and every reality that we have is beautiful. for who would chose an ugly world? perhaps a pessimist, in his darkest of moments. but he, as sure as the rest of us, shall see the light in the end.

I’m ill today. Stuck inside, watching the raindrops fall on my window. It looks like they are tears, like the clouds have been crying and their silent tears have fallen on my window. I look out, and I feel as the clouds seem to. Lonely, bored, sick.

Her body twists to-and-fro as her bony skeleton-like appendages dangle in the wind. She smiles and lifts her frail arms to hug you, “I’ve missed you brother.” You obliviously follow her into the darkness, thinking to yourself, ‘Is this really my sister? She’s changed so much.’

She looked to the counter top and dangerously it gleamed. A slow beam of golden sunshine peaked through the window, making her fingers itch to touch the cool plastic. It was the memory. The first soccer game she won. Her first real triumph in the ‘grown up world’, or so she thought. But, in reality, it was the beginning of reality punishing her for not being good enough. For not getting enough of the rewards that were now glaring at her from the counter top.
“Don’t touch.” Her mother chided.
If only it was that easy.
But, unfortunately greed isn’t that forgiving

inhale, exhale. its a similar smell… smoke. my uncles, my aunts. they have smoked since i was a child and now, the smell comforts me. never would i put a cigarette to my own lips but the smell is some sort of nostalgia to me.

“You’re like a cigarette to me — addictive.”
Her eyes widened ever so slightly, then she smiled and laughed a little. “Well, I hope you never decided to quit on me,” she said.
“Never,” he promised.
And in that one blissful moment, nothing seemed more perfect. They had each other, and that is all they would ever need.

The bow in her hair was white with a blue gem in the middle that sparkled whenever she moved. Jasmine was only 6 years old at the time, but being the flower girl in a wedding was more exciting than anything in her mind.
“Mommy, look at my pretty bow! Princess!” She called out as she danced around the dressing room.
“Yes, darling. You do look quite like a princess.” Her mother watched her fondly, proud of the bursting energy her daughter carried.

The princess sat gracefully, with perfect etiquette and polite manners, at the table on the far side of the room. I only stared at her with admiration. She wore a beautiful gown that swept the already polished floor when she walked in the castle. Everything about her was beautiful, and I envied her so passionately.

Devastation hits when least expected. However, life goes on. The crops die and the rivers dry up, but people survive. We find food in the least expected places, and life goes on.

The black plague spread around us like a wild fire. Nothing could stop it from taking our homes, family, friends… our own lives. Everyone was at risk. There was no way to stop it from hurting us. We were trapped with no way out, and no help at all.

» Posted By Maddie On 07.12.2011 @ 6:11 pm

For the longest time I’ve been expecting a change. I’ve been waiting for some crazy thing to happen and change everything. Everyone expects that though, always more for the good part of change, but everyone expects change. But does anyone really set out to make it happen? Very few brave people do. It’s like, we want a change to come to us so bad but when we’re asked why we don’t chase it ourselves, it’s because we are afraid.

The man had a slight accent. He said, “There’s a strange spirit along these chores.” I knew what he meant, but Serena was confused momentarily before I clarified in a whisper for her. He continued, “Some people accuse the spirit of stealing, and recently, murder…”
