as the dolls filled up the little shelves that were set aside for books originally the little girl got more and more zealous with them. she started making room for dolls she didn’t even have yet just because she could not stop collecting them. they were her life and they were all that mattered to her.

the thought behind something. what it represents. how it’s percepted. how much something is valued in someone’s eyes. it’s worth. the amount of importance placed behind some object. a symbol.

I remember holding your hand in the cold. You bought me a coke because I’d started to cry. I miss the pictures we’d paint together.

the next stop, the next one, he had got on at the ground floor and she could feel her palms sweating as she counted down the levels that would pass before he would leave her in peace again, she felt desperate for him to speak to her but yet so eager for the moment to pass with no interaction.

i see the satisfaction your eyes help as they surveyed me that winter morning. it was as if you had found the treasure Cortez couldn’t seem to get his hands on. Later you told me i had the same look in my eye. We were meant to be darling and we knew it in that first moment.

To dicover you must leave the comfortzone, soing something you have never done before. Go on journey, you dont even have to be daring just trying and not running away as soon as you are scared.

Think to myself. What would I do if I could cleanse myself of all of the horrible things I’ve done to those around me? Would I choose to do it? What if my life would be completely different than it is? Would others who turned their backs on me open their arms and embrace me? It doesn’t matter. Cleansing myself of my sins will never work.

General. I think that is a sad word. So common. Why would anyone generalize about anything? Be specific.
Say what you mean and not just laziness…

gentle is not a word in your vocabulary, but that’s all right, because it’s not in mine either. no one knew why we stayed together, always beating on each other, fighting, screaming but they never could understand that that was our version of sweet nothings. there’s a thin line between love and hate, as they say, and we stood right on the middle, hand in hand.

the flight of the cranes, over yellowdead grass, their paper wings rustling like kisses on the wind. beauty and peace that never was and will never be. they break away, reform — now they are sheep, gamboling; fluffy clouds like marshmallows.

They stared for hours at the plastic bag on the table. “What to do?”, they thought. This would prove his guilt. The contents of this single plastic bag could change the future of the country. Were they willing to change it all?

i’m not asking for a whole lot. really. i swear. is it really that hard to give me just this little bit of reassurance — no, make that ‘assurance’. marriage isn’t asking for a lot. not if you say you love me.

Straw and thatch. that’s what the world thinks of when you say village. and outdoor toilets. perhaps ‘quaint’or ‘folkloresque’. but it’s not, not in the slightest. it’s community, one unit in the bodies of tens and twenties. never quaint.

the wildflowers grew on that field that he always passed on his way to school, and he always wanted to take a few to give to her, he knew she would be waiting at the corner.. even if she would never admit she was there just for him, he could tell in her eyes that she did, and maybe tomorrow he would casually drop a flower by her feet and pretend it never happened, like she pretends he doesn’t exist.

The best place to see pretty little birds just dancing around in the tree. Maybe a kitty will sneak up on it, just sneak up and try to catch the bird, but it won’t work. Birds have been dodging kitties for years, and this kitty is much to tame to be a threat to the birdies. She’s never had to hunt for her meal, and it shows when the bird flies away without effort.

living life. birds home is a birdhouse. house home of everyone. birdhouses may not even be a home of a bird. could be a decoration and even birds are like people and home always isnt your true home at home. they can find another place that makes them feel home and at peace. that they love more.

The shining chestnut coat of the horse gleamed in the sunset as it galloped across the shoreline. Uninhibited, its mane mixed with the salt spray in the air and shimmered softly. The magestic animal’s muscles silently rippled under its coat, its hoofs making muted padding on the sand.

The smell of incense always takes me back to my childhood. Sitting next to my Grandpa in the old, sturdy, wooden pews of the huge cathedral that never seized to amaze me

She was walking, and I had never seen her before. I reached into my mind to see what would come out… and I tried to shout a warning to her… but nothing came out. She turned around for a brief minute to smile at me, and before I knew it, the speeding taxi had collided with her slight frame. I gasped and choked out her name as I ran over to the road, and held her head to my chest one last time.

He hit her. she fell. i heard her scream. i ran over to push him away from her. i felt so bad, i was doing everything i could but it was too late. hearing the crashing of her head against the desk, and then the wall, and then the floor.. killing me inside but not nearly as much as it must have killed her.
