I want cake right now. Now I want Harry Styles. I want to eat because I’m hungry. I want this to end now. It’s taking so long. This is the longest 60 seconds. Now I want to stop, but I can’t. Can I stop now? Or is this everlasting? No now? Oh okay. Now I want more food. Now I can smell food.

It finally snowed here. It’s nearly Christmas and I have been waiting for months. It’s strange, that stagnant feeling when fall just won’t leave. I don’t have time to snuggle under blankets, or tell you that I love you when the leaves haven’t left the trees. But now that it’s snowed…I can do anything.

My favorite game is monopoly. Monopoly is fun because you can play it with many of your friends. You move an object around a board and try to land on spaces. The object of the game is to get the most money of all of the players. I almost always win. It’s a lot of fun and you can play it with friends.

I am not this. I have only been this twice in my life. Once when he was not mine, and once when I didn’t want him to be. This word is the bane of my existence, the nagging at the back of my mind. The scratching in my throat.

the methods by which individuals engage in an action vary depending on their backgrounds and situational circumstances. some methods prove to be effective while others do not, but regardless, one cannot discover the best method for him or herself until trying out multiple ones.

Down the hall there is a dark room, it is nothingness. Emptiness. Darkness. This hall is my life, I don’t know what the other rooms are, but I am stuck in the dark room now.

i spent the day with my dad. we went out to eat and he spent almost 50 dollars on the food we ate. we then went to see a movie called 7 psychopaths. it was really fun. its been a wwhile sience ive spent time with my father like that. i had so much fun. my dad is my best friend and my hero. he has helped me through so much. we used to fight and i hated him. but, since he has been out of prison he is a totally different man. he is a man im proud to call my dad. even though their is doubt about him being my biological father. but, you know none of that stupidity matters. he raised me and that other man has been in prison my whole life.

rain falling down in the gold gray-blue damp of the day as I wish that sunlight would light up the early morning dew on the grass that is so very very green green green like the grass that is a deep violent shade of green that i just want to roll around in it and smell it and relish the smell of the grass but I cannot get the idea of the green out of my head all I can think about is green and grass and summer and the warmth of the sun in the cool of the grass and the blades and the breeze and I want to go swimming in a lake RIGHT NOW but I have no idea where to find a good lake in Mexico that is swimmable (is that a word?) so I will just have to suffer an suffer but maybe next summer

I shouted into the abyss wondering if there was anyone who could hear me. I didn’t feel like there was. There was a sense of acute loneliness surrounded me. But perhaps that was just the dark. I had never been to such a place before, a place so devoid of light.

She didn’t know what she was getting herself into. Se k we he was married. Se knew he had a wife and two kids, a son and a daughter. She knew all of these things but she still let herself get caught up in him.
He was handsome, rich, sweet and kind. Everything a woman wanted in a man. It was no wonder she fell for him the second she saw him. And he fell for her. Her gorgeous long blonde hair, the piercing icy blue eyes, full red lips. It was no wonder that this affair happened.

There are many sides to one position. Many sides to one person. The person is centralized at a point in time and various sides come out at various times. Though the centralized point changes many different times and drastically through out one human’s life. This doesn’t mean they are the same person. Sides. Side’s are too black and white.

Never enough of something. Sharing what you want to keep. Giving something to someone else who deserves it. Wanting to always make something fair. The ability to know the difference between selfish and the right thing to do. I will always share what I have, when I am able.

I am in the zone. Who’s zone? My zone. You may not understand what goes on in MY zone, but I do. And that’s all that matters.

Instructions are to be executed as you interpret them. no one can ever be 100 percent clear because we all, us as humans, take certain words differently. that is the beauty of art, literature, and even science, anything effected by human interpretation. we are all able to paint a different picture from the same words.

Wow this is really weird since the two pages ago I stumbles across the train etiquette memes. Railroads are pretty cool since you can ride trains on them and go place to see people fast that you wouldn’t be able to see normally, fab people like Kaili yeah

There’s only a minute or two left in this world to give it all you got. So take the last minutes you have and use them for the best. Use your minutes to help people, to save someone, to do something good for once. Don’t waste them! They’re priceless! Don’t think for a second that you can just sit around and wait, don’t wait to go after your dreams, don’t wait to tell the person you love, that you love them. Do it now! Appreciate what you got in this minute! :-)

The ceilings soared up, up, vaulting high overhead. On the rooftop, the white steeple jutted into the sky. Birds perched on the gargoyles guarding the corners.

It was official, she had snapped.
I could only watch as she stomped around the room, screaming at the top of her lungs, while throwing everything but the kitchen sink. The family portrait was thrown to the floor, wine glasses shattered, and, worst of all, the China grandma left behind was now across the floor.
All thanks to the love letter that wasn’t for her, but me.

life is brief, fleeting. so are feelings. so dont let these brief moments of passion, of sadness, of fear, of loathing keep you from being everything you are. things will be better tomorrow.

I found my hand in his overenthusiastic vice. Without meaning to I flinched. He hardly noticed, like always. He turned around and embraced his supposed “girlfriend”. I wonder how long that would last?
It was easier to watch him hold her, whispers of sweet nothings passing between them, than face the empty road in front of me. I tried to pretend my heart didn’t throb when he placed a kiss on her nose. I brushed off the nicknames they called each other. I pretended to be strong as they walked away from me, leaving me alone in the fading sunset on Washington Way.

What would happen if it were all to stop? She didn’t want to think about it as she swayed through the crowd of scandalously dressed “young adults” – aka, her generation. She didn’t look directly at anyone of them, as though they were contagious. She didn’t even look away from the floor until she arrived at the front of the crowd. This was her “spot”, her home away from home. And, as she began jumping to the beat, she refused to admit she was dependent on this song, this beat.

He stared down at her with intense eyes and she knew, before he even said it, what was about to happen. That was something she had been ready for, and yet, not so ready. This was a sentence, a conviction, one which would change everything. There was no turning back.

» Posted By Kristen On 06.01.2012 @ 11:23 pm

Convict sounds so harsh, so final. What about that one event that makes someone a convict is the defining factor of their being? Rather than judge the part, take into account the whole.

that’s the worst part of walking to work each morning. it’s not the hassle of getting up, getting ready, and getting on the metro. it’s getting off. it’s that 10 minute walk from the opera station to the front doors of the buildings. it’s the getting hassled that’s the hassle. it’s the catcalls and whistles, the honks

» Posted By kristen On 06.01.2012 @ 5:40 am

It’s a problem. A problem you can or cannot solve. That is up to you. Can you solve it? It’s when something get in the way of what you want. How bad do you want it you ask yourself? Just go for it. Don’t give up.

Was it the size of her frame? Was it the way he avoided her gaze? Was it the cough that showed her, finally, that they had been listening, but not really?
Because she’d love that description for parts of her life, but being slighted simply slimmed down her will to fight.
