I never thought that it would happen to me. Ever. I never dreamed of such a perfect person. Could I be everything I needed to be? Swollen with life, I ponder. It’s too late to think now. Daniel loves me. He loves us both.

She couldn’t believe it. How had this happened. They always used protection. They used it then too. But maybe it was faulty. How was she going to tell him. He didn’t want kids. She knew one thing for certain. No matter what happened she would keep the child. She had always wanted children. She would keep the child even it meant loosing him.

He gracefully dived from the diving board into the cool water of the pool. He came up to applause. He couldn’t wait until the judges gave him his scores. He truly enjoyed diving. It was his life. He grinned as he got his best score ever.

The little girl giggled as her dog wagged it’s tail. She loved her dog. Her parents had had her dog before she was born and she had grown up with the joy of playing with her dog. She giggles even more as her dog licks her face. She is very happy.

She was covered from head to foot in flour. She was making her husband a cake for his birthday and it wasn’t going very well. She had already destroyed to cakes. If this didn’t work she didn’t know what she was going to do. She waited until the timer went off then took the cake out of the oven. She smiled. The cake was perfect. Now hopefully she would have time to clean up before he got home.

Hanging out on the lawn with a picnic basket and checkered blanket, I sat enjoying a mid-day meal. As I looked up at the clouds, ominous and grey, I felt a rush of raindrops all around me. But the sky wasn’t dripping, the sprinklers had turned on.

She leaned back in the deck chair smiling as she watched her kids play in the sprinkler. Her mind wanders to when her and her brothers were growing up. Boy how they loved to play in the sprinkler. It didn’t matter that they only got to play in it a few months out of the year. Those times were still some of the most precious childhood memories she had.

She worked in her garden even though her knees hurt when she knelt. She still worked in her garden everyday. It was her one true joy in her life. Now that her children were grown and gone and her husband had passed. She smells an orchid and smiles. These had been her husbands favorite flowers. That was the real reason she gardened.

She loved being in the recording booth. Just her and the mic singing her songs. She liked being on stage too but it was just so peaceful to be here in the booth. She couldn’t think of anything she wanted to be doing more then making music.

It was hard to live like this. He had survived but at what cost? Everything he held dear to him was gone and he was left alone. A part of him wished he had died with them. That would be better then this ache in his very soul that he felt everyday. He sinks to his knees sobbing. Why had he been left behind? Why had he survived?

the apron got caught in the stove. She was frustrated and mad but she didn’t let him see it.
Another fucked up meal.
Another useless fight
Another wasted night.
Good job boyfriend, good job.

tragi. life is tragic. love is tragic. everything we see, we touch, we feel see or hear is tragic. Tragedy is what makes beauty beauty it makes life worth living to find those little spots of time that dont suck so much. tragic is humanity, and humanity thrives on tragedy.

I clip the newspaper coupons onto the kitchen table. A few hours and many nicks and cuts later, I finished cutting, and started sorting. I hated the monotony, but we do what we need to survive.

with a car? with emotions? with atoms and protons and science? How do we collide? In clubs, through friends, through school and smiles. A friend is the best collision, a love is even better and I can’t help but wish we’d collide.

Its me. This is loving, concern. This is thinking about you and wanting the best for you. Caring is the way to spead love and become someone in this world. Without it everyone would be shit. Just do it. Just do it now! Care and give a damn.

He never cared about her. He was only in it for himself. She was just there to make him look like he was a better person after all of this war crimes – a trophy, some would call her. Disgusting, she thought, staring herself down in the mirror and trying to come to terms with herself.

He had a caring streak and that seemed to be his downfall. He would open himself up to another and care for that person and in the end he always got hurt. Either they left him or they died. It just didn’t seem fair. Yet he knew that he would care again. It wasn’t in his nature not to care.

is when it is ok to do something. if it is ok or not to do something if someone says you can do something or not. if you are allowed to do something or not.

She wanted to go to this party. She had asked her parents. Begged her parents. But they still wouldn’t give her permission to go. It didn’t matter that there was going to be adult supervision. It didn’t matter that her best friend was going. She slammed the door of her room in anger. She’d be one of the only ones to miss this party and it pissed her off.

am i writing the word timing? it seems kind of stupid to write about it when there is nothing to say but that it is about time. i am blanking when it comes to something poetic about time, but it is limited.

» Posted By kristen On 02.02.2010 @ 5:41 am

it was bad timing the day he went away. Her life had been falling into pieces before and when he told her he was leaving, she fell into the ground. It was the end of the day, and she couldn’t take it any longer. She knew she’d be lonely without him. So she took the gun, pointed it to her head and shot… it was just bad timing the day he went away.
