How does one define modern?
You cannot, because it will never be the same.
While your father found the television modern, and his father found the radio modern, this changes endlessly.
Modern is simply a standard, not a defined point.

SMASH! A bang rings out throughout the building. It seems inconsequential, but in your head it’s one of the most mortifying things that acn happen on your daily walk from the vending machine back to the chemical vat. It’s not like it’s a massive faux par per-se, but admitting to that kind of clumsiness at the same time as causing a potnetial near-death experience is a bit rough.

Its a strange thing, the hook. It will get you places, sit there, help you and generally be the most unobtrusively awesome thing that you could possibly have. We take very little time to thank the hook for all it does for us, and yet it sits there and stays, helpful to the end. So I take this moment to say: Thank you Hooks, you have and always will be awesome.

I can’t find mine! I am lost in a sea of unmarked keys… I dream about tokens that I cannot find. I wish there were keys to unlock the mysteries of the universe. So aplomb in nonsense and drivel, all that I need is a key. Servility? I need a key. I need to be whole. What is the truth?

is what you get when you don’t gain. it comes in many forms and is usually felt to be bad. But of course, you can’t have the concept of “gain” without “loss”. Yin/Yang. so loss is just as important as gain and neither can exist without the other.
