somebody to take your place in this hat-box that you’ve decided to live in
nobody to watch you as you sleep, to rub vix vapour rub on your chill-blanes and cough-stains
anybody, anybody to read a story to you, to save you from the darkness that encompasses your mind

I draw upon my resources when thinking about a serious decision. Whether it is the right decision in the end is unknown. Sometimes I draw a mind map to help me.

You can draw back,
pulling up that drawbridge over the moat
that you’re probably hiding.
And you become hidden, like a snake or a lamp or a table or something
that doesn’t actually say much.
God I miss you.
And wish you’d go away.

I spent the day dreaming of how I would really like my life to be. Too many years have passed now though, and it is unlikely those dreams could come true. Life will be just as it is for now and I will enjoy it all the same.

I was roaring loudly in my sleep. What was I dreaming about? I remember fighting something off and struggling, struggling but I could not get this thing off me. What was it!!

Sargent Grit stared at the motley group.
“Lets be havin ya— Attennnntion!”
The boys shuffled their feet and stood up straight.
“Call that attention do you? I’ll make soldiers of you yet.”
“Or kill us in the process,” mumbled Jack.

She paused as she walked through the entrance to the tall, ivy-covered building. the damp smell of moss and confusion filled the air as her eyes moved towards the door knocker

it was simple. I had done the unthinkable. Disobeyed the agreement i had agreed to only a few hours ago. Before it was forgivable….but now? I felt horrible

The flames lashed licked around his legs, burning and sizzling the hair upon his flesh. His screams went unheard, that is except for Lucifer, himself.
“I can offer you salvation,” he laughed.
“Anything,” replied Rondare
“You must do my bidding upon the earth. That’s my price.”
“I will,” breathed the boy.

A key helps you find a way somewhere be it real or not. It is useful as protection and is kind of pretty to look at. It is also a major thing ie. A key event. A common key manufacturer is Yale.

She set the cutlery down on the table and straightened the napkins. He would arrive soon. Lucy dashed into the kitchen to stir the spaghetti sauce. She picked up the small glass bottle that stood to the side of the stove and shook it. The powder sparkled. He would never guess it was there. It was the perfect trap.

Fire filled the sky and the village folk began to panic. The dragon was on the loose again, and this time it was burning fields, livestock and homes.
“It wants its sacrifice, what shall we do?” asked the King of his adviser.
“Sire, I fear it will not stop till it has had its fill of a new young flesh. We must choose a boy of 12 years, no more, or none of us will survive.”
The King closed his eyes and when he opened them again a single tear rolled down his weathered cheek.

Well, all that comes to mind is “kicking the bucket,” as they say. The bucket I’m always trying to find, however, is the one I use to mop with. It always goes from the garage to the shed, to the patio, to the laundry room and never ever with the mop.

Get mailed failed, Annie sighed, was it the modem again? she wondered.
In the kitchen she switched on the kettle, it was then she saw a shadow fly past the window. She threw open the door and looked out. The Telephone wires had been cut. Her heart banged as a surge of panic swept through her. She turned to go back inside, when a hand covered her mouth and another grasped her around the waist….

The configuration of the landscape confused him, as he looked at all the twists and turns that lay ahead. He knew they were not far behind, and that if he was to survive, he would just have to make a choice. But which way? – He closed his eyes just for a moment, the scream that echoed behind him, made him snap them open again.
Move! yelled the voice in his head.
Stefan sprang forward not knowing where this next path would lead.

The first time I saw you, we were five years old. I stared at you for what felt like hours, but had to have been something like a whole minute. Your hair glowed like an angel’s halo, golden and wonderful, and your eyes were blue just like the sky on a clear winter’s day. I think I knew I loved you even then.

Nest, well nests are wonderful. I nest everytime I go into a new place. Birds nest and love preparing nests. It is such fun nesting and setting everything up in your new nest. This goes here and this goes there.

The creature stood in front of her, its gelatinous body wobbled like a jelly on a plate. Eyes bulging it trembled its way towards her. Each movement making a sucking noise on the ground.
“Stay away or I’ll cut you into cubes!” shouted Sue, waving her penknife at it.

He was convicted of treason. No one knew why; no one knew how. They’d always believed he was an honorable man who was always willing to serve others in times of need. Now, it looked as if his life was heading into a pitiful black hole. His trail will be on next week; let’s see if the poor guy makes it out alive.

She loved a good romance and this book was fulfilling her need. She sipped on her wine as she eagerly turned the pages to the scintillating sex scene she was now reading. Her finger traced every word as her heart beat faster. She could taste Rodrique’s kiss upon her lips.
“If only,” she whispered.

Ellen came to a fork in the maze; the sound of heavy footsteps thudded in the distance behind her. For a moment she hesitated. Which way? Left or right? Her heart raced, her mind whirled. I must separate myself from this creature before it’s too late.

Separate. Is there any positive connotations with this word? Separate but equal, discrimination. “My parents separated.” I hate this word, so should you. Why is this word so hard for us to take in? Because it means loneliness. Unfortunately, I’m separate a lot. Distant. But hey, who isn’t. My parents are separate. Not physically, but emotionally, well all of my family is really.
