It was the usual movie trick, wasn’t it, using matches or lighters or what have you to launch the sprinklers to create a distraction. Or to make all your enemies wet, however you prefer. Or just… something. It wasn’t working, though; she just couldn’t get close enough, couldn’t get her lit match close enough and they just weren’t going to leave.
Oh, for the love of… if a match wasn’t enough, lighting the house certainly should.

memories of christmas. too young to wear the pretty apron, so i let it drag on the floor and wore it anyways. Cookie dough everywhere, the smell of burnt sugar. Happiness. Warmth. A perfect moment suspended in time.

Giraffes have very long, delicate necks. I imagine that they would often get very sore, and, not having hands, if you be very difficult to receive a massage to sooth the pain. Giraffes must be sad…Unless they cannot feel pain.
