There was a port where a person meet an octupus. the octopus was rather friendly, not caring a whim in the world. He merely wanted to find his friend the squirll whom he had quarelled with earlier that morning. He wanted to find him and apologize, for he knew he was wrong in his actions

This word reminds me of when I had to work teaching English in Ostia for the first time. I tried to find a quicker way home, and got lost trying to find the airport (there was a train that could take me close to home). A boy was also waiting for the bus, and he told me to follow him and he’d show me the way. We ended up taking 2 buses and walking a really far way to get to the bus that went to the airport, but I missed it and ended up waiting by the port for over an hour for the next bus.

people crouch when they need to hide, or when they need to duck down from something. like if something were to hit them in the face. one might crouch to avoid the object in time. little kids also crouch to act like animals from the past, maybe dinosaurs. i dunno. but you get what im saying right?

We were there to celebrate, but then he came in. I did not know what to do, say, or even think. All I knew for certain, was that I was terribly, irrevalibtly angered with him and at the same time so in love with him it hurt to breath, to see his shining face standing there, looking at me.

Pouch? How do you even pronounce that anyway? Is there a proper way of saying it? I’ve heard it said many ways, I suppose it depends on where you live then.

I was average the day I was born. I just got out into the world and before I knew it average set it’s target directly on me. I never new I could be good at something. But I am good at being average. Jack of all trades master of none. I can.

existence is kind of hard. it’s like… no matter what… you’re always just going to be a little part of everything. a dot on a map, that everyone over looks. no matter how hard you try, how many lives you change, how many awards you win… after a while you’ll be forgotten. and no one will know who you are or what you did. and that’s scary. really scary. you try so hard to fit in, live your life perfectly but at the end of the day, it doesnt matter.

Sometimes I feel like I’m sinking. I hit my peak a few years ago, and now, nothing really seems to be going REALLY well for me. I’m doing fine, good, even, but I’d prefer “great”.

the buzz of electric light
i sit alone in an airport on stiff plastic chair, bags at my feet, the world before my eyes
my plane is delayed
seven hours to flight
seven hours to freedom

I saw a deer once. It was at the side of the road, hiding in the bushes. A look of fear crossed it’s eyes, as it saw the car approaching. Still, despite the fear, he stood in place, curiosity taking hold, and watched as the car passed by him. For a brief second, our eyes met, and an understanding passed between us.

i would like to succeed in life have a loving husband and beautiful child a home that i bought with the awesome job ive always wanted and decorate it to my taste have my own control over my life with every thing i desire but that’s not the success i will truly gain because even though America is the land of the free and the home of the brave i feel like a prisoner to the government and will never live up to the true American dream its more out of touch than everyone makes it out to be.

Repeating things is sometimes necessary. I forget easily, so my mother – or any other person who’s near me – needs to repeat tasks I’ve been set on at least twice or thrice. It doesn’t bother me. I can deal with it. The people around me, however, think it’s a very annoying habit of mine. I try to explain it’s not a habit.

thread is the thing that holds a story together. and your clothes. it’s the thing that you hang by, when you’re almost at the end of your rope. and it’s the thing that your grandmother squints at, when she wants to darn your socks. i miss my grandma. so much.

Things of the future seem so far off, like there’s all the time in the world to derive solutions from all the complications to come. But then time passes, slowly, but faster then we think.

why did i get the topic of driving again? perhaps it is because i have postponed the idea of getting my license for far too long and subconscious drives are hinting me to start practicing. that sounds

driving is the number one way to get around in america. we have approximately twenty cars for every living person in the united states. this causes severe pollution and were all going to die. driving is inconvenient.

SLAM–the force shook her teeth in her skull as she felt her body shake. It seemed like every inch of her was still quivering as she fell to the muddy cement after colliding so roughly with the wall.

Bricks are red. They are like love. They can build a house, or sink a dead body. Bricks can be heavy, and harmful. They help build the sidewalks and roads that you drive on. They are essential. Is my 60 seconds over yet?

I started out on level one with him & I decided it was time for me to win. I had to push past my limits & do what my heart told me. Level one was passed & now we’re together. There’s nothing left, but a life full of love.

The water was boiling hot. It was meant for the Ramen Noodles for my lunch, but instead it spent all it’s heat on scalding the skin off my leg. I spent 38 hours in the hospital because of that water. Stupid Ramen noodles, I could have gone hungry. THey’re high in sodium anyway. Now I have a large splotch of shiny pink skin. sexyyyyy

Root. The root of all evil is what comes to mind orginially. The roots of my family secondly. Is is bad that evil came to my mind before my family? Could be because it is a common phrase and it is just attached, but who knows. The roots of a tree. They go deep deep into the ground, just like our family roots. They can be traced back so far, it’d be hard to name right now. Esspecially without my mom or grandparents around to help me with the names and dates. Root, like cheering for a team. Like “Im rooting for the Steelers to win the super bowl this year!” There is so much meaning to English words. Root. Could be anything.

Step, one two three, step, one two three–
“Ow! You’ve trodden on my toes again,” she whines, scowling and breaking their near-perfect waltz position.
“They were on the wrong position!”
“Oh, THEY were? What about you?!”

I took a step to to choose the love of my life. It was just a step of chance & a step to our amazing life. That was the best step I’ve ever taken.

It just took one step. One step and I would be free, grow up, and move on with my life. But that last look over my shoulder–to all that was–was just too tempting. How could I leave it behind just like that. I can not grow out of it. Everything that happens now just grows on those old experiences and friendships. It is not as simple as just a step.

“It’s only natural, that I should love you.”
His hands drift over the sculpture’s arms–arms he himself has molded from earth and clay.
“I made you. Isn’t that right, Galatea?”
She does not reply; her tongue is marble, cool, immobile.
