Something that may be physical to use to hold something, or something that can be used figuratively to use to keep mental notes of what it is that you want to do in life or accomplish.

One of the subjects in which the world revolves around, Unfortunately it’s not easy to master. It’s so complex and amazing.

I’ve already had this question; and now I feel better prepared. A minute is a measurement of time, ironically I have a minute in which to write about the word ‘minute’ (Yo, dawg, I heard you like minutes…). It can also refer to something small, e.g. ‘That Shetland pony is minute.’ Why did I choose Shetland pony as an example, out of all the examples I could have had? They’re not even small.

I don’t want to get married in a cathedral. It’s too structured and stiff. i feel like if someone coughs or makes a noise all the old women turn and stare at you. maybe that comes from to many years of being forced to be quiet in church. anyways i want something more free flowing for my wedding. somewhere outside and not cathedral-y.

I was emptying out my change, as if I had nothing left to lose. I felt so empty inside, hallow, like my bare coin purse. I knew that my life here was an empty, bleak, shallow shell of what once was. It was time for me to be emptying out my former self and crawl to a new stage.

He wore a backwards baseball cap last night. We had never seen him in something like that and it looked really good. He denied it but I think he liked that we liked it. It brought the 90’s outfit together and I think we convinced him to continue wearing caps like that.

Metamorphose.

I wish I could transform into a bird. To fly up above the heavens, and see the world for what it really is. See it in all its beauty. And maybe one day come back because I would like to spend the rest of my time with you.

Der Rücksack auf dem Rücken, wo sonst. Er drückt und ich schwitze, aber ich laufe weiter, immer weiter, immer höher. Die Luft wird dünner, ich kann es spüren, obwohl es so langsam geschieht. Was passiert mit mir, hier oben? Werde ich ein anderer Mensch? Ich hoffe es, irgendwie. So mit anderer Luft und so.

Why fix something if it isn’t broken. Too often we, especially Americans feel the need to fix non broken systems just because they don’t conform to our standards. Africa, Latin and South America, and now the Middle East. If it doesn’t need to be fixed, then don’t try to fix it.

The lantern was on at the cabin. He spent all night staring at the lantern just waiting for her to come home. How could she leave like that? Where did she go? Would she ever come back? The broken hearted man would wonder his whole life, and always remember the lantern.

Hate it! I hate to lose. Sam just lost her pjs last night (in a store!?@) and I am so sad for her. Are there other shorts? Yes, but those grew with her. They were mine and she loved them. They were faded and loved and now gone. Not the worst loss, I know. Loss on any level hurts.

I went to the art gallery in France to see the Mona Lisa. It looked better in pictures and on the internet than it did in real life. She didn’t look like a real person, but like a doll or a man wearing lots of makeup. The Mona Lisa looked like a drag queen.

If I had a clue
This would be be and you
I wouldn’t hesitate
I wouldn’t doubt the decision I’d make
Your love is my fate
Then none of my life
Has been a mistake
just a winding road to your arms

Carnival is just like a festival. Almost. It reminds me of Mardi Gras, New Orleans, Hurricane Katrina. What a dark transition. What does that say about me, that thinking of a festival would inspire me to remember an awful disaster.

Every spring at Niagra on the Lake, a group of thespians perform classic works under the heading, “The Shaw Festival.” My mother took me to this event a few times growing up. We had family friends, Oma’s friends, who lived in the area and one of them ushered for the event.

There is a bum on a park bench. I’ve never seen him there before. I feel bad for him because he has to sleep there every night, so I walk up and give him some money to help his troubles. I ask him what his story is so he pats the seat and tells me to sit down. He seems to be a nice man so I take a seat. He tells me his story from beginning to end about being veteran with a purple heart and how when he got home from war his daughter had killed herself because she hadn’t heard from him and she thought he as dead. Ever since that day I visit him at his bench every other day and we just talk.

Gazing upon her, I knew it was love at first sight when I was enraptured by the feeling of a bullet piercing my heart. If only I had remembered for how fleetingly a moment that bullet remains a part of me…if only I had remembered that the exit wound would be so much larger than the point of entry. Forgive me, my lady, for I am a fallen knight.
