I was just thinking the other day about my thoughts. They take up most of my day. Try to not have thoughts. It’s difficult. Just when you think to yourself “Hey, I’m not having a thought right now!” You realize that that was just a thought.

They stand tall, They’ve been here forever and that’s not something that will change anytime soon. Some are powerful. Some are just run down. Those that remain inside are either taken care of left to fend for themselves.

Most of the employees were mostly happy, carrying on with their workday. Shuffling papers through cubicles or counting cash that came in and out of the cash registers.

Everyone always says “be yourself”. And I guess that’s what I’m trying to do. Be myself. They’re all busy being themselves. But what else would I know how to do. They are themselves and I’m myself and that’s all I’ve ever known. We’ll only ever be ourselves. And we’ll never be like them.

old people can be seen as ancient by young people
but they aren’t
old buildings are ancient
the world is ancient
the universe is ancient, the most ancient thing we know
yet we call old people ancient

The dominant feeling I have right now is: tired. I’m tired of working so hard and feeling unaccomplished at the end. I just want to sleep and wake up happy. Yano what I mean? There’s no off button. I just need some time to stop and breathe and enjoy life and be a human being. That’s all that I want.

What is the configuration for the next man? configuration, as in where do I find him? Where does he hang? What road do I take?

Fractures are a real pain in the butt! I had a fractured little toe bone once when I was 17! Boy, did it hurt! I am not so good with pain. The interesting part was that it had to have a foot cast and all my friends signed their name. What fun that was! But it was very painful yet and it got old. I had to wear the cast for 2 months! Ugh!

sipping water, frosty beads, fun colours for kids, the stripey ones that used to melt in your mouth, the sharp scoops at the end of slurpie straws which remind me of bowling alleys and cheap hot dogs and strange smelling shoes. when i have a party I make sure there is a selection, but they are so bad for the environment I suppose. What price style….

The other day my Civics teacher told me what it means. I suppose I’ll never really understand it. But I think most treaties are full of lies. The foundations are lies. But then again, a lot of things in this world are built based on lies.

i’m drifting away on the river
with the stars above me
and the water below
my love for you is drifting away on the river
with the hearts above it
and hell below.

Eggs Benedict is the best brunch I think, parma ham, bagel, yum. Anything involving eggs really. It is a nice thing for couples to do, on a Saturday morning. There is a nice place in Liverpool called Moose where me and my boyfriend like to go, then stroll and do something nice together. Brunch is made for weekends.

this is something that has to do with art. it may be painting, sewing, reading, writing, designing clothes or a house. it can be a man or woman. it can involve a bug, flower, dog, cat, pot, cup or music. you can do it outside or inside. you can even do it in the rain. you can take a picture of it or film it.

I clicked through the channels on a Wednesday night, not much going on. And I happened to turn to SpongeBob SquarePants. Other than that it may teach a few important lessons to kids, it is a pain in the ass to watch– or even listen to, too.

I looked back at Burgendy avenue, not remembering what i was so upset about. The thought about what just happened, about a few minutes before, was something that changed my life forever

i see one of these everyday when i am going through the subway and up the escalators. the officers stand at the bottom and speak through them at the people standing on the left side of the escalator telling them to keep walking if they are standing.

I gotta wear this bow in my hair. It makes me look proper and that’s what everyone expects of me. Properness. To be polite and listen intently on what everyone says. And smile and nod and agree with every word. It’s a tough position to be in to hold back your opinion, and shut up and take it.

When I was in 4th grade, a crazy teacher from the 5th grade came to our classroom as we were filing in for lunch and told us it would take 30 years for a straw to decompose in a landfill. That it would only decompose half way, and then it would take another 30 years to break down another half way. I think she got plastics and nuclear waste confused, but I still feel guilty whenever I use a straw.

Mean has many different meanings (haha). It could be like rude, cruel, etc. Could be the average of a group of numbers. It could be the definition of something. So weird how one word could be interpreted in many different ways.

Crane in the yard. Picking up dirt and moving it elsewhere. Clearing out, to build something new. The yard was fine as it was. It doesn’t need anything there. We build, build, and build in this country. A piece of empty space is never appreciated anymore.

I braid my hair to pull it away from my face. To help keep it in the style I want it to be in. It’s the proper way of being lazy for a girl. Hell, I must be quite lazy then. I braid my hair quite often. And I don’t give a fuck. Guys dont care anyway. Small details.

When I was in elementary school, I used to have a crush on a boy I didn’t even know. It happened merely because he was good-looking. It will never happen again. I won’t fall just for the look ever again.

If you could predict the future, that’d be boring. There would be no suspense to life. You’d know your whole course of life, when you’re gonna die, who you will marry, etc. I like the mystery. I don’t wanna know what happens tomorrow. I will find out when I get there. Fuck predictions. I will find out the hard way.

the train station. blurry faces, work men running to catch up with their incoming train. checking their watches, slapping their brief cases among other people without knowing. busy mothers, trying to keep their children calm while the train blares so loud that it seems to shake the earth. blurry faces. the train station.

I use eyeliner before I leave my house. Almost to cover up the lack of sleep I always have. It lets me hide from the reality that I stay up all night just thinking what ifs and whys and what did I do wrong. It lets me hide from the world what’s really going on.

Damn fluorescent lights. Whenever I try clothes on in a fitting room I always hate how they look because those damn lights show every little microscopic flaw. It makes almost anything look terrible on. It shows every little bit of cellulite. Thanks, like I don’t already know its there. RETAIL STORES: please put normal lighting in fitting rooms? Thanks.
