You can charge things to a credit card. Someone can be in charge. You can charge the castle gates. Take charge of a situation.

to be a coward is perhaps more common that you might think. How many of us truly take the step, that jump, that leap forward that life demands of us? How many of us, when opportunity comes, prefer to stay in our shells, to live our lives as we have always lived them. I am not a Napoleon.

I think o the people around me manipulating me and I think of how much I hate them, I don’t like being controlled like the figures in some video game, it makes me upset that people have that much control over me, like my girlfriend… Its awful to know I’m that weak D:

paper has prints that vastly tell a story in which people now use a form of expression.

spiders! AH! they are so incredibly scary. People often say, “Bryan. Why are you so afraid of something SO small.” To which I reply, “Hey, be quiet. They’re trying to kill me and you know it.”
They get quiet. They know that I am right.”

I like type writers becausee they were the first thing invented that let the computer become a reality. Right now I would not be typing this right now on the internet because the computer wouldnt have been invented because the typewriter wouldnt have been invented. All in all the type writer was a huge invention in the breakthrough of technology.

The elixir of life. However, that is probably the first thign to pop into many people’s mind. I just wrote that entire sentence with my eyes closed as I sneezed very loudly. My roommate just woke up. Sucks for him… What is the best elixir for youth? Love, laughter? Who knows.

I missed you today, but its crazy how I had it
And I felt so wrong about that I needed to shout it
And days and days go over and over
But I never needed to hear it before
So whered you go when Ive been missing?
And where were we when you were pretending?

The shore was lined with the dreams of a lost generation, crimped and cramped by the ceaseless waves.

I had seen him before, this bear of a man. He had all the features of a bear, long scraggly hair, huge beard, built frame…….wait, oh shit! It is a fucking bear!

i was too happy. my spine tingled with thoughts of the night we spent. I tried so hard to be faithful but faith has been lost these days. in a time marred with broken thoughts and lovers, happiness comes, but happiness never stays. joy is over. so now i dont believe.

He was mad. He was very mad. He had been in this situation before and it always made him mad, but he never acted on it or let himself really feel the depths of his anger. But this time, there was no denying it. He was cross.
He wasn’t going to go to church again.

how many miles are there? I know a Miles – a certain Miles davis who can be considered a master of the jazz idiom. Man, those were vibrant times – the ’60s. How many miles can you go today without hearing some mainstream pop trash? Lets put some mileage back into goo d music.

What a vase is usually used for is for putting flowers or plants in. They could be small or big! Depending on the flower, of course. They come in all different kinds of colors and designs. You will usually find a few in a household.

you can commit a relationship. you can commit a murder. when you commit to a relationship most people see it as a good act. but when you commit a murder, you’re pretty much punished for it. its wierd, huh?

The tide rolls in and I get sleepy. It sounds so peaceful out there. I want to be on the beach with the hot people, having fun, flirting, acting cool, maybe even like a fool. But that white noise reminds me of the comfy mattress, the sweet release of losing consciousness. Yes, the tide brings dreams.

Tide is the detergent I use because it is what I know. It smells good, I’m comfortable with it, and it just feels right. Of course, I dated a girl who was somehow allergic to this and it kind of offended me. I mean, she couldn’t help that she was allergic, but it seemed like it was fate that something I took for granted was something she couldn’t stand.

once there was colour, but it’s gone now. some might say that’s a bad thing. i think it’s just a matter of perspective. maybe i’m autistic and just don’t like the colour yellow.

I love sandwiches. Even though I have the means to make them I rarely do because it seems to take so much effort for something that’s gone in thirty seconds. In the past week I’ve eaten maybe two.

president. from preside, perhaps? to preside at the head. commander and chief. like many things, it’s just a word, with it’s own history as a word, but with all of the history behind it, it accrues power that it never had to begin with. such is the power of titles.

detour. first thought: my whole life has been a detour so far. which of course implies a destination. interesting, if life is what happens when you’re making other plans, and your plans are the destination, then life is necessarily a detour. it’s the unexpected flow of your experience, driving you down blind alleys. no one can fight it.

industry. reigniting the fires of industry. is this a fundamental aspect of human society, that we must be productive? Are we inherently technological people? i suppose it speaks to an innate curiosity and creativity which might be considered flattering, despite the things we’ve done in its name.

dolls. the dollhouse. it was a good show, with interesting ideas at least, despite the poor execution. reminds me of ghost in the shell too, where the director held up dolls alongside dogs as two things/entities that we project ourselves onto, yet have very different kinds of life from us. Dolls are imitation life.

blocks are objects that form with right edges, they are not very interesting to me. the pyramids were made out of sandstone blocks. Blocks can often mean a form a barrier

bongos. certainly conjurs an air of the foreign, the mysterious, the exotic. maybe something like orientalism, preying on the ignorance of an audience to produce such a feeling of mystery. it matters who the audience is in this case, because all the bongo players in the room are not impressed.

My whole life has been about thing withheld. I haven’t told my family I never graduated college. I just sorta fell into a good job and everybody assumes I did. I withheld from my parents that I really, really hated English, and didn’t want to continue writing, or that I really didn’t like basketball. Been the shy type. Not sure it’s worked out.
