filling, two slices of bread, any number of fillings between. sweet or savory. versatile, won’t get your hands dirty, invented by someone wanting to continue gambling

Smog and slime churning from the exhaust pipes, oozing into the water and onto the land. Little creatures scamper and hide as they watch those left behind suffer.

Blocks, falling one by one from the sky. Different shapes, different colors, coming one right after the other. I try to stop them from piling up, flipping them in every direction I can think of. They come together nicely until the final piece, a horrible blue “z”. It’s an outcast; the other blocks won’t have anything to do with it. With the one little block, I’ve lost my chance at victory.

every time i think see the word blocks i think of the fact that i used to hate the toys i was given to play with as a child. they were never REAL blocks, only little cardboard ones that gave nasty paper cuts. it was utterly stupid of me to ever give those things a chance, but i did anyway. go figure it was a child’s naive behavior to give such a thing a chance.

“Why can’t I be like that?” she whispered, looking at the girl with the sleek blonde hair that seemed to cup her face as delicately as a tea cup.
“Because you don’t have the blood lines,” Melanie whispered back.
“Don’t compare me to an animal. That’s improper,” I snapped back.

across a body
with it’s sandy skin
and it’s exceptional smoothness
and I sit here and write
about a love that I’ve forgotten

I dislike rude, and disruptive people. Many teens and preteens today are rude and feel we owe them. They are in for a rude awakening. We owe them nothing and they are going to be responisble.

The photo was a glossy black and white. It showed her large eyes. She was beautiful. She would turn heads wherever she went. Her blonde hair was almost white.

The gentle breeze blew in the window. I stretched and opened my eyes to sunshine. It was long past time to get up. I had a lot to accomplish today.

What is your name young man? I don’t seem to recall it?
It’s Benny, Grandma, I’ve been here before. I come everyday to make sure you are okay.
That’s nice of you. What did you say your name was?

to draw something on paper, the only thing that brings your hand alive. you draw, write. you renew things. edit with your ink. red ink for the angry. blue ink for the mellow. black ink for the saddened. ink to renew your love.

The ink was barely dry on the agreement when there was a commotion outside the door. It burst open and in came Emma Mayes in all her redheaded glory. She was fuming. You could almost see the steam coming out her ears.

The meter was running and the cab was stuck in traffic. I still had fifteen minutes to make it to my meeting. I reached into my purse for my cell phone. I wanted Monty to start the presentation.

I would offer my heart to him if only he would accept it and offer me his in turn. I’d like to imagine that he would… when we meet.

Solstice– I suppose because it is that day on the calendar. It makes me think of solitaire and being solitary– but in a very happy way. I feel happy. Solar– that’s where solstice comes from, I’m sure.

lock the lock. there is a lock around my heart, will your key fit? someones key fits but who’s? I am so alone, i need to find someone to unlock my heart, my secrets, someone to share my heart and life with.

lock yourself in, lock yourself out. let your self be free and let your self find itself. do not lock yourself into itself, leave the door wide open and explore, then come home and find what is new, or simply rediscover what is old.

As I danced in the moonlight, the shadows looked exquisite on the cobble stone floor.
I thought about all the times I had come here for my midnight dance, and I wept. I would miss it.

The veins and arteries of the victim were full of antifreeze. A terrible way to die, I’m sure you’ll agree. Whoever did this was a sick and twisted individual.

veins are always showing in your legs. it is not fun to have vericose veins because everyone can see them and i think that people think that they are a sign of being overweight, but i think that people can’t help that they have veins. veins are an everyday part of life and you just have to deal with them. however, i guess you can get your vericose veins removed if you want.

finite means the opposite of infinite. I had this word in tenth grade as a vocabulary word and I pronounced fin-it…luckily no one ever knew that I didn’t know how to pronounce it. I think a lot of things in the world are finite…like, my time and my resources. I have a finite amount of patience for people, even though I tend to think of myself as a patient person. I also have a finite amount of times that I can see the same movie in a certain amount of time (usually I can’t watch a movie more than 3 or 4 times in one year), or eat the same food in a given week. I have a finite amount of words that I can use to describe finite also…

the light flutter of her kiss on the cheek awakened him. He could hardly take his eye off her. She was a goddess. Long blonde hair to her waist, lithe body, yes a goddess.

the fingerprints stood out in the flour on the kitchen counter. Whoever had been here was not being careful. What would we encounter as we went farther into the house?
