typhoon

Not another typhoon! I wish the word changed after it had been written about. Maybe it changes at the same time each day. I don’t always look at the same time….

Such horrendous consequences. The typhoon that hit was a major catastrophe for the country. So so sad…

She was a pupil at the grammar school but didn’t work as well as she should have. What a missed opportunity. Silly girl – should have tried harder.

television

I don’t watch much television – apart from a few soaps and quizzes. Even then I tend to be doing something else at the same time. I don’t think I’d like to be without it though.

sandcastle

It wasn’t very sunny but warm enough to go down for a walk on the beach. Even at our mature years we managed to settle down on the beach to build a rather wobbly sandcastle.

toaster

The toaster sits in the kitchen hardly used. It’s too small for nice chunky bread but not so awful that I can throw it out. Toaster dilemma!

He kicks the back of it hard with his smile and he loves to hear the bone break as she falls to the ground. Even better when he offers his hand in mercy.
