There are so many tragedies across the world that leave young orphans to fend for themselves. Being orphaned is catastrophic. It is bad enough losing parents as an adult.

I used to love going to the cinema when I was younger. We were there all the time and the really late shows were always such fun. No popcorn but a lovely tube of ice-cream. Not quite the same now.

She was suffering badly with arthritis. She’s had it many years and didn’t expect it to improve. Such a painful, progressive illness.

One thing I didn’t do in biology at school was have to dissect animals. Can’t say I’m too unhappy about that.

Sometimes she was so anxious and depressed. Any little symptom was of major concern. She was sure she it was all in her mind but nevertheless it was a continuous struggle to keep on top of her emotions.

He bought her a beautiful necklace for her birthday. She couldn’t wait to wear it and show it off when her took her out for dinner. It wasn’t until they reached the car that she realised she had lost it. Did she secure the clasp properly?

She was only fifteen. Her boyfriend was a little bit older. No one understood when they said they were in love. Her parents were so angry about the unplanned pregnancy that she was forced in to having an abortion.

The visit was unexpected.
He threw open the door like it was nobody’s business, not like he left me and his kid two years ago to this day. Something tells me it was unplanned.
Josh would hear it, I was sure of that. He’d come down stairs and freeze, knowing in a heartbeat who this intruder is.

When I was young I wanted to be a policewoman unfortunately I was too short although it doesn’t make a difference now. Maybe they thought I was too small to apprehend criminals.

When I was young I loved to use stencils. Not much use for them now though unless with my grandchildren. However I am sure there are other uses for stencils in architecture and dressmaking etc

I love to visit many different countries and enjoy the culture there but there is no place like home and I am always happy to be back in my native London

He was just an ordinary policeman and that’s how he wanted it to stay. The bobby on the beat who knows everyone in the village not the policeman in a flak jacket and carrying a firearm.

Her children were so young. It was difficult being a new parent again and worrying about them so much. She was really concerned that no harm should come to them.

He was having a bad time at work. No matter what he did he couldn’t get off to sleep. His mind was working overtime. He tried various remedies and at one stage counted sheep.
