Pines that grow for years and more, keeping their roots deep into the waterlogged sand. A fire, surrounded by granite stones, keeps a lonely harmonica and a battered guitar company. The waves linger, savouring the sunset on the cold sand before retreating back to the greatest lake.

Be of good courage, God said unto Joshua. God is our strength and our refuge. With Jesus living in my heart, I shall never be afraid. His power is beyond all measure, and He lives in me!

This is the day that the Lord has made. Bring sunshine into your life, even if their is a cloud cover, Jesus is on the other side calling…calling you! Go to Him now, and discover the beginning of your life.

The reversal of apart. Separated. Stay together, all you married couples. The hardest paths lead to the most beautiful destinations. Together…

The birds flew frantically, searching for protection from the grievous storm. Lightning struck again and again. Lucky there are no trees up here in the tundra, or they would all be fried.

Here we were lounging, in the hot springs. It was awful, since the guys always got dropped off first the small pool would be stirred up and algae ridden by the time we arrived. Life is tough. (sarcastic on the last sentence)

Take heed to the will of God, make sure you are obedient to his paths. You must not search out your own way, His way is perfect and much easier to travel, even though at times it may feel most difficult: this is your flesh–follow Him in the Spirit!

How long can I take this? Time away from the protection of my family of God, it seems to pass with trials and tribulations. Tripping and stumbling. God knows how much I can take, and He has created hope in the fog.

Life is a miracle in itself. “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.” “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son.”

The tundra is now bright red, though soon and too soon it will be covered in brilliant white. Snow, the enemy of a prospector.

His mercy covers me. Completely, fully, tremendously filled with love and everlasting mercy. I am so grateful for Jesus, my God, my Master and Commander. His blood has covered my sin. Bless the name of the Lord!

The outcrop was megacrystic, large crystals of plag and fine grained monzonite compose the texture. This is where there is little to find, until we found the vein with malachite…

Not really a great name for a manly man, unless I suppose you are trying to embarrass them. It works.

The gun jammed again, Lucas flipped the magazine out and reached for his .44 mag. As luck would have it, the muzkox was charging again. He wondered why on earth he was stuck here on the tundra, hiding,

the food chain, similar to the pecking order. Or simply a status. Like here in camp, Dave is at the top and Evan at the bottom. They are chained together by Grant. They are one of a kind but so different all at once.

Working together to be a part of something big, something important. The members of the crew are all important, and without even one person that crew may not work to their full potential. As a member of a crew it is important that you ask for help when needed, and give help to those in need. Everyone has something to offer, and all members bring their own knowledge and experience to every situation.

Don’t hurry me. I may be young in your eyes, but life is fleeting and if nothing else I wish to enjoy my journey. I may do what’s wrong, God forbid, but when I do nothing I certainly can’t do anything right! This life teaches my the toughest lessons.

Flooding in through the partly parted curtains the sunshine whispered promises of a future. Whispered not in my ear but my heart, told me to keep trying, get back up and never let go. It was true, is true, and through the Holy Spirit I’m now free.

The rumbling of the clouds in the distance grew in volume as the storm approached. Once afar off, now it was on the doorstep…knocking louder and louder.

You are the best mistake I’ve ever left. I fell free from you only to be chained unbreakably with regret and a heart once happy now broken.

Positively nothing can happen worse than the events which have unfolded over the last week. First, the pride of Bjorkmanville, the big black Dodge, was totalled. Next I’m informed of no collision on the vehicle. Following that is news of the diamond frame and the uselessness of repair.

We are prospecting on private lands. Lands occupied by grazing cattle herds and broodmares out to pasture. I have no notion why the gates are not all texas style, but the ones that are not slow us down. We are forced to get out of our vehicle and dial the combination to get through.

He wandered the open plain, in search of a bigger purpose. The sky was aglow, not a swirling sunset like so many would think as romantic, but the sliver of a moon gave the purest of white stars– whether big or small– a chance to really shine agains a vastly dark sky.

Murmuring droplets of fresh rain cohering the brown earth to green. The sweet chickadee’s flocking in unknown unison through the pussy-willows. This is spring: a sigh of relief for those who inhabit the bitter cold climates, who, while they welcome the winter and even wait anxiously for the deep snow and smooth blue ice, cannot contain the joy in their hearts when spring makes her entrance.

Unfortunately the verdict wasn’t as it should be, and there was an unsteadiness in the defending lawyer that was similar to coffee brewed from a drip maker: irritable but helpless in his position.

As the lone prospector crossed the valley he thought he could hear the banded iron formation calling his name, and when he arrived he was delighted at the abundant chalcopyrite and edifying blue azurite gleaming from behind his glass.

into the unknown there is a myth of a mystery, something declared by past generations that will remain unsolved for many futures to come. be not afraid of the mystery–embrace it with joy because if you knew everything in life there would be no point in living it.

I did this one already. Seems delusional to write again and I don’t feel the need to prosper at this moment.
