I hate crowded places. Mostly because my mind still finds a way to feel completely alone. The empty feeling of being home by yourself on Saturday is absolutely nothing compared to the empty feeling you get when you are surrounded by people and have no one to talk to or understand you. Too bad life is crowded.

some might say that i am overly sensitive. i dont think so though. i just feel more than others and take in things more than others. my past has shaped me into this person i am now. sensitivity is not a bad thing as society makes it out to be. it is good. it is good to feel. it is good to be sensitive. without feeling we are nothing. without emotions we are meaningless.

If i could climb a tower just to see the setting sun upon the horizon, I would be content. To be so high above the land and witness the beauty of a setting moment, a setting day. Whether it is was a good or bad day, the promise of a new time. Tomorrow will be a new day, I can promise that with a settling confidence.

She walked home one night when suddenly she felt drops of water fall onto her shoulder. She looked up seeing clouds of grey. At this sight she hurried to get to shelter. “The last thing I need is getting sick” she exclaimed.

gentleman, it is strange word. it could mean a gentle man, someone who is kind or sympathetic. or it could mean a chivalrous man us ladies love.

Greedy is when someone doesn’t want to share something of theirs. When someone has sharing issues. Jesus tells us not to be greedy with who we tell the good news to.

I stood in the room as the cold air hit my face. I felt free, I felt alive.

Smoking kills. Then why does dad do it? He says it’s just a cigar, that it doesn’t do any harm, but I don’t buy it. He needs to take care of himself. Smoking liar, smoking devil. He tries to hide things from me but they always reveal themselves in the end. Whether I want them to or not. Sometimes, the smoke swallows me whole.

All I was, all I’ve ever been, was thrown away in that moment. When I lay in the back seat of that car, all I knew was the smell of the leather, the heat on my skin. I felt safe, knowing he was watching over me. Occasionally he’d send a glance in the rearview, and I always avoided it, continuing my bitter facade. But truth be told, I was glad that I was there. My old life was flowing away behind me as the tires flew across the pavement.

I’ve never felt more safe in my life than I do in his arms. Enfolding me, surrounding me. Everything else is gone in that moment, and I am left with only his smell, his touch, his skin on mine. Everyone else is gone. Everything else is gone. It’s just us two there on the planet, safe finally in one another’s company.

This winter. Snow, snow, snow. And bitter cold. Second coldest winter on record. Icy air. Coat wrapped tight. Scarf covering the mouth. Gloved hands deep in my pockets.

The woman had learned to compensate for the weaknesses in her life. Not all of them, of course, were of her own doing. Her husband’s weaknesses — or weakness (If only he’d quit drinking) — had cost her so very much. Time. True happiness. Companionship. Opportunity to flourish in her community. So she had compensated by applying her time and energy to her profession. She spent copious amounts of time and energy at work. She enjoyed it. It was a place and a situation in which she could succeed. Her colleagues at work only knew the positive side of her life. And she continuously strove to polish that until it shined.

Sharp. Pain. Blood staining my thigh where his talon dragged down my leg, a punishment.

The car skidded to a halt. “Stop!” The officer yelled as his team exited the vehicle. His trainee stood next to him, timid and hesitant, wondering how his superior would apprehend the suspect. Before he could think of even one possible course of action, the bomb erupted.

a hero is someone who cares. someone who bothers to think about all those in need, and actually does something to help. people who get upset about tragedies but don’t do anything are not heroes. people who go out of their way to do something beneficial. that’s what a hero is.

The girl lye there on the beach sun-dried, she melted away just so she could get the perfect tan. She sighed and thought is this really worth it? And then she decided no and sat up and saw her body as perfect, she was happy. She changed her life, and everything worked out for the better :)

The line surged forward when the horn sounded, ready to fight for life, for those that they loved, and, most importantly, for their freedom.

It was loud and noisy, but the people knew that they had to do this. They knew that if they didn’t, then there would be no future for them, or their children, or their grandchildren. They came together and spoke with one voice, one mind, one sound, and one vision : Equality for all.

easy come, easy go. Lifestyles change, people change, selves change but cetain things need to stay steady. Calm. Central. In a way, the person becomes what the person has always been, a being orbiting around a steady center .Keep an eye on it as the world twists and turns and evolves.

shells are often found on the beach, they are fun to look at and nice to see. This one time at the beach we walked for miles looking for the perfect shells. It was hard but we did it, we found the most gorgeous shells off the Jersey Shore that day. There were bright shells and dark shells and shiny shells and tiny shells.

the world shattered around me. it disintegrated before my eves like pixels slipping away from me. What was happening to me. was it real or simply make believe.

» Posted By Tori On 06.15.2013 @ 9:48 am

anything and everything you see wether it be on a screen or on tv is made up of tiny multicolored dots called pixels. they give color and image to a blank screen and alone are incosenquencial but combined create amazing images. In the modern age, pixels are just as important as words.

What I would do if I were a little winged tike again, they have imaginations and thoughts that us more matured creatures don’t see such importance to have. A winged creature so brave and plush that only I could wish upon being one of these creatures before they fall without wings and left incapable to get back up. How I dream of such miracles.

A winged animal is like a human with two eyes, perfectly rich and capable of doing nearly anything. Without these winged animals what would we see flying through the air and wind on those beautiful clear summer days and breezy fall nights. These birds have lives and lives without wings well that’s unheard of.
