What can be more important than a crew? When you are on a boat and have to be out on wicked seas you should be able to trust those around you. A crew can be people on a boat, a gang, or even a group of kids at school.

ouch, that hurts. protect, retrospect. don’t neglect. pain. it’s real. it’s what you feel. no time to kill. patch over scars. it’ll get you far. bar bar, open the bar, trapped your heart. let it heal then take off the bandages. you’re what you feel.

They advise your work. They could be a professor, a teacher, a parent. When I think of adviser I think of someone who has power over me, someone who is in charge of me.

“I have a suggestion for you,” Jay said. I raised an eyebrow. She was always a bit ditzy – I loved her, but…

“What might that be, Jay?”

“You should get a rebound guy.”

I scoffed. For one, a rebound guy? Why? I mean, after all, we dated for a week. I shouldn’t be this upset. I guess it’s just that getting dumped feels like a kick in the chest.

And for two, I’m not exactly the most attractive person in the world.

chills spring down my spine as i looked into his breathtaking gaze. i wondered how this magnificent man could ever love me. i was so broken so worthless, and yet here he was in all his perfection.

A long word that I don’t really know. I’ve heard it, but I don’t know exactly what it means. Maybe if it was in a whole sentence I would understand the meaning, but I don’t know what the single word is… I don’t hear it often. I wish I was smart enough to have a good vocabulary. But I’m not. I’m kind of stupid. Not really good enough for most things. Oh well…

Dwell. Well I don’t really know anything about this word but my mom uses it sometimes and I’ve used it a couple of times. Hm. I don’t really know what else to say about it except that it’s purple. and there’s a bar down there distracting me from writing anything.

She stood there, the toes of her shoes dampened by the puddles on the sidewalk in front of the imposing structure. The steeple was glaring in the sunlight as he approached her, his hands shoved awkwardly in his pockets. Her hair blew across her azure eyes in the slight breeze and she wiped them back off of her face. They said not a word, just stood there wondering why they were here at all.

i like straws. they are very useful when it comes to drinks. they just make drinks so much more fun to drink because you get to anticipate the delicious beverage coming up the straw instead of just chugging it down like regular people do. it gives you a chance to have fun. even with something boring as a drink

Chatting is a fun activity when you’re doing it with close friends. It’s the most fun when you’re chatting with friends you haven’t seen in a while, but you realize that you miss them more than you thought and you then make later dates to hang out.

pirates on the sea fighting during a mutiny. the captain is locked in his cabin while loyal crew members fight the mutineers on the deck. swords are bloody and curses abound.

I think of my future job because I want to be a nurse. I think of a pharmacist, I think about a hospital, I think about people with wounds, I think about doctors and I think about nurses in scrubs.

I think of Valentine’s day the other day. I think about guys trying to hit on girls, vice versa. I think of funny pick up lines, and I picture a girl getting hit on at a bar. I think of potential love.

Life itself is a maze. I am reminded of a sunset. Sunsets are always beautiful and moving, yet they are always different. Not once have I seen the same sunset twice, because each is unique. In the same way, our lives, though mazes, are always beautiful. Though they are constantly changing, and we are constantly weaving, there is so much beauty to be found throughout all the maneuvering.

Cheering, laughing, screaming… such a joyous day. I watch the little kids run around and giggle as they play together. They act as though they have been best friends for years, but they met only an hour ago. I admire their vulnerability. I sit at a table in the lawn and hold my coffee mug in front of me, as if I am creating a barrier of protection for myself. Is it silly that the kids inspire me so much? I put down my coffee, showing that I am open and ready for a conversation. A man walks over and sits down right next to me. He has a warm smile and he looks directly into my eyes. The conversation just flows. Little did I know, that this birthday party celebration would soon become the anniversary of the day that I meet my husband.

There are lots of decorations and the place is full of color. A lot of family and friends come together. There is a lot of laughter and people are drinking. There is a lot of noise, but it is joyful. There may be a ceremony and it may be for religious purposes or a birthday or any holiday. There is a lot of food.

I think of monarch butterflies fluttering around trees. Their abstract patterns. I think about butterfly exhibits, and how I got to hold them when I was younger. I think of my little brother Noah trying to show me up because I w

Don’t think, just write. It’s a shame when, as soon as I see the word SPARKLING, my thoughts turn to anger. Because you know what? Vampires don’t sparkle. And that’s not just me being an asshole. I actually liked TWILIGHT the first three times I read it. Then I knocked my head outta my ass, read the rest of the series and realized: 1, it’s worthless. 2, it’s poorly written. 3, it’s corrupt. As far as I’m concerned, however, it just shows me what people wanna see: a shitty love triangle. You know what I’ll shoot for in MY writing? A better representation thereof. Because if we learn nothing from our predecessors, what does that make us but insects incapable of adaptation except through the sluggish manipulation of evolution?

Haha. I actually happen to know a couple of Lilys. That’s Lilys. L-I-L-Y-S. Because their name dictates nothing less. Keely, that whore, has taken my best friend for a whirl, and she’s upset everything that’s good about the Lily name. Which, let’s face it, ain’t much.

This is a six-word split case of pneumonia. And I couldn’t care less. As far as things of the world go, [read: PROBLEMS], simple items of this instance are to be ignored. Now, on the other hand, say if there’s a lion… with thorns in its paws… you should re-evaluate your situation in life because obviously no one thinks it’s gonna be worth anything in the long run.

I’m a real estate agent for life. It’s more than selling property–it’s selling a lifetime, selling memories, selling potential, selling people’s dreams, selling families, selling idealism. You wanna give someone what they never gonna get and make ’em believe in the end that it’s all worth it. I’m also running short on friends for the same reasons.

Oh, the ages melded together in their discord, their absolute representation of ages told in stringy, lengthy a capella. But the rulers and their lords never exceeded foretelling; it was their splendor, simple and pure, and so entrenched in tradition that it eluded exposure, that lasted.

i crept up the stairs. being careful not to wake my brother, he was sleeping so peacefully, i couldnt bring myself to disturb him.

i went back just to see if it was how i’d remembered it, it wasn’t it depressed me, but i knew that in the end, everything would be okay. i wish that i had paid more attention & enjoyed it while i was there, but my stupidity kept me from realizing how precious time really is.

I gazed at the lake, unhappy with my life. The reflection of the sun on the water was beautiful, and gave it almost a orange tint. It’s marvelous, the things you notice when you’re alone. If I was with someone I might have said “Oh look, the sunrise is pretty” instead of noticing the little things.

giving, getting. it’s all the same. helpful. yes. needed. sometimes. whatever the circumstance, it’s nice to have. second opinions are important to gain perspective. without perspective, what are we doing? how can we understand a little about so much without perspective? it can’t be done. thus, advice is significant.

» Posted By Sierra On 10.15.2011 @ 8:29 pm

learn how to take advice. make sure you listen and do what they say. because if you don’t then why did you ask for someones advice in the first place? okay bye. :)
