Evidence is something which is hard to come by, and even harder to substantiate. The thing about evidence is that it’s all very well presenting it, but if you don’t want to believe it, you can always find ways around agreeing that it’s true. The fact is that even is something is scientifically proved beyond all doubt, those who don’t want it to be true will always disagree with the methods employed or the understanding of what it really means.

it was a sad tale about a boy who lost his shoe. it was dear to him and as such he treated it like a brother. it was with him where ever he went. one day he was separated from his beloved shoe and he couldnt see it even when he searched under the bed, where he usually kept it

I put powder on my face in the morning. White. Ivory powder. I have to use very white powder to match the paleness of my skin. It drives me crazy that I can’t find a foundation that doesn’t have the orangish tint. I wish I could just use powder all day long to keep my face from getting oily.

I figure that we all end up becoming who we are meant to become — whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is not for us to say, but I’d like to believe that all things do work for the better. On another subject, my “figure” (in a more literal sense I suppose) could definitely use some work, so while I’m improving what I figure about myself and who I’m becoming, I hope to also become a slimmer version of that same person.

A hideous instrument. It makes noise, not music, I hate it. Stupid people play the banjo. Or maybe that’s just me thinking sterotypically. I don’t really know. All I know is that it sounds like crap. I want my music to have real guitars, thank you very much. Banjos are like… Guitars for hillbilles. And I don’t like hillbillies. Or rednecks. So I guess my hate for bonjos makes sense. Huh.

like on a bike there is a pedal. Pedal pumping going faster pedaling up and down the street pedal pedal pedal. Put your sneaker on the pedal puuuushh!! push the pedal ride the bike along the trail. Along the street. Along the river. Coarsing like when you push the pedal. and thne you move faster faster till you stop and rest your toes upon the pedal.

there is a place that i think of sometimes where it might be warmer than i am now. I want to think of it as a place where there are people who are close together, a family, crowded around a fire maybe, where smoke goes up through the small hole in the ceiling, and there you can see images of animals in your dreams, but this is a place that is far away in my imagination for I am in a large house that has four people within it, all who are so dispondent. There is no real love here, only allies, but there is no hut, it’s not like survivor.

Britain. Union flags, letter boxes, post boxes. The post boxes with a snow hat and a cosy robin on the top! Busy streets and black taxis… ‘taxi’, not ‘cab’. Tourists. They’re not Britain, though, they’re foreigners, wishing to seek just that little bit of traditional British glory.

the roots of the tree and family roots are two different types of root. A root is the base of a word. I have roots when I don’t dye my hair every month. Roots can be good… or bad. I realize.

a lie, not truth. perhaps something people believe in like a religion, sometimes nothing at all. an enigma and a mystery. how do we define what we believe in?

I remember that when I was little, my bed used to be surrounded by cuddly toys! I still remember all their names, although by now I’m at Uni and only have three up here with me…. well, three or four :P

Tomatoes are delicious, full of vitamin C, and pair well with so many other foods. Tomatoes are fun to grow as well. I love making home-made marinara with home-grown tomatoes, and I love heirloom tomatoes. Who knew they could be yellow, purple, and all sorts of crazy awesome colors!

The tiniest glance told me the sun was up and daylight flooded the Earth; I had been inside, head bowed for a very long time now. What time was it? Was this really the sun? Another glance showed me the frozen lake

weight loss? love loss? time loss? game loss? whatever the loss, it means going without. it means missing out on something. but for every loss there is a gain isn’t there? weight loss yes, but confidence gained. love loss yes, but new opportunities gained. time loss yes, but there is more around the corner. game loss, maybe. but a chance to practice your skill and do better next time.
