There was an orange mango that looked very delicious and tasty. People often fought to get it, but nobody ever ate it, for there was no other mango like it. One day, a stupid man somehow managed to win the mango. After he got it, he ate it. The end.

The shirt had such a new allure to it. I knew it would be different after I left it there for so long, but I was still very surprised. I took it to bed and stared at it for a while as I took in its new scent. It smelled so much like her…
I knew that I would sleep well that night.

I dropped the baseball. It the light brown, sandy, ground. I had lost the game for the entire team. “Crap,” I swore. I was in big trouble.

I can’t do it alone. There is too much at stake, there are too many doubts in my mind that it is possible to make this journey without help. I need to make a few phone calls… I’m sure someone would join me on this trip – it is surely important enough for a few kind souls to pick up the slack and give me a hand in my time of need. At least, thats what I hope…

Phrases are weird. A phrase would be like they’re walking down the path. That’s a phrase.

a bit of a sentence. a password. a code. a motto. phase out the R. wheel of fortune.

Bananas take time to split from their trees, splittanage is not their strong suit. Slippage on their peels, is.

isn’t a paper clip just an inexpensive lock pick?

when things have gone against what you believe
although it’s tempting just to watch and fall
incite a cause and never pause to be
the cannon rather than the cannonball

the cannon roars with the expectance of the death that it is about to create. the lines of soldiers stand no chance against the ball, hurtled forth through the ether towards them. It scatters the line, punching a hole through all of then, blood and gore flying through the air like doust motesught in the summer sky. clouds drift through the sun and glint the cannons steel barrel, shimmering and reflecting a greyish beaty that cannot be forgotten. the man who fired the cannon looks out to the death and destruction that he has caused, and smiles grimly. it was the cannon that caused their deaths, not him. He was only an instrument in their deaths, a blameless sort of fate that is not substantial enough to be blamed. The cannon sits evilly He stands innocently. Who is to blame? certainlynot him. The wicked glint off of the barrel agrees, silently.

I have found that sheets are better when they have a high thread count. This is important because when I am having happy time I like to feel that soft cool fabric on my back as I do the deeds of so many before and many after. It is joy and sorrow and love all rolled together in a crumpled mess.

I just get bad temper sometimes. I’m often not in the mood to do anything due to my bad temper. It’s annoying but I just can’t help it. It sucks!

what do we have when we lose all control? heh. it’s like handcuffs or something along those lines. We have the handcuffs and we have the power to put them on ourselves and throw ourselves in jail, yet sometimes we don’t. Sometimes we let ourselves run wild. A mad dog off the leash. This is temper. You can lose it, sure, but it always comes back. Be your own master. Don’t be the dog. Control it.

I can’t do it, not right now at least. It’s never an easy thing to do, especially given the current circumstances. It isn’t a good idea. I just need to wait a little bit longer, until things calm down a bit. Then I’ll tell them, honest. I can’t hide it forever…. I just can’t say it yet.

The students were all standing in a line, their projects in hand. The winner would be determined after each demonstration of their creations, in front of the usual judge panel of course. Whichever machine could carry out the most tasks would win the trophy at the fair.

The suitcase was not buckled properly, but there was no time to fix it. The two men ran as fast as they could, eating the pain that their business shoes were feeding them. The documents had to make it onto the plane, or else their careers would not be the only things at risk.

There he stood. The wind rolled across the field and chilled him to his bones. There was no way to open it – it just stood tall, a huge metal slab with no handle, and no way to open it. All he could do was wait, hoping that they would answer his calls.

I had already written about the magnet. I didn’t know why they wanted me to write about it again. I could think of nothing new to say, nothing anyone would want to hear, nothing of any moment. And the clock ticks on and on, about to tell me my time

The magnet confused him; he had never seen one before. What magical force makes it work? He then determined to study physics and try to solve this irksome problem. If he coule,

The needle stings and ugly kinds of faces that pull me back again and again are not a thing I’d talk about, least of all to the people like you. But you don’t care about that and so you push back and back and back and I won’t take the woe that you would push down and say I have to feel.

Rest your back a while
After riding many a mile
Take for granted the comfort brought
But take full advantage, perhaps not

A slap to the face for the expressions, in distaste, you made for me to see.
Would that you could, perhaps you would turn, but I dare say that’s not a smart move to make.

With your attitude put on, but just for show

The outlook that so many twenty somethings have on the future, or maybe just their current predicaments; is it a fair assessment? Probably not. Maybe we just need to look a little more into things beyond the physical self – and I don’t mean an interest in the pseudo New Age bullshit, I mean seriously introspection of the self.

Standing in the mist was a fair haired girl and she looked back at me and it plain to the world that I shouldn’t mess with her while her mind was in a whirl; probably better to just leave while I still had a chance.

Go overhead the overhead and tell me what you get
A fuzzy mess of black and blood and a funny kind of hiss
Don’t try to stop me doing it, I like it just too much
I tempt the viper with my mind and lean in for a kiss
