dock

I couldn’t find my way to the dock. I knew it was a place of taking off, but just couldn’t make it to the start. It wasn’t that I was afraid of the journey. It was the start that stopped me.

sombre

Sombre sounds a lot like sombrero. Now I know this isn’t about that sort of hat, but then again I always thought this particular word was spelled as “Somber”. That’s just me. Anyways, somber is actually a very appropriate term for the summer. It’s a lot of sitting around waiting to do something, and let me tell you, the mood in the house can be quite somber at those times. In general, I don’t like somber things. Too quiet, too awkward. Tomorrow’s word should be cacophony, just to fuck with everyone.

occasion

i have no occasion to meet women. that’s horrible.
I don’t even know what an occasion is.
I think it’s something like possibility.
it’s horrible, when you don’t know english as well as you could.

I wish I had the occasion to meet more women.

scarf

My wife wears a scarf at times. This is when it is cold or at least cold enough to warrant one. I have started wearing one also, having been in Italy last year where men wear them more often than not…Scarves are not worn by men much here in the states but it appears that it is taking hold in the bigger cities…

Eating disorders that have been dealt with over the years. The large amount of prosperity we have in America and the inability of other countries to even think of such a possibility with the food supply they have.

scarf? hmm well it used to mean eat something really really fast like you are starving. other than that just the things around your neck, pretty much just decorative i guess. also magicians use them

I love the big fluffy ones… the ones that don’t make your neck feel scratchy, and insulate comfortably. Combined with a nice pair of glasses they give you a cool coffeehouse look.

hover

i hover above you like an apparition. Imagining what we could have been. I hover over my body, wondering how i’ve left it and what this string connected to me is. I hover in stasis not progressing not devolving, i exist.

alert

I took my dog out the other day. Each house we passed was a question. Do they own a pet? My dog wanted to know. He sniffed every telephone pole and checked every fire hydrant. He even peed on several fences, as if to say, “mine!”

radio

Radios are no longer as large a part of our lives as they may have been many years ago. Sure, people still listen, but often only when they have nothing better to do to pass the time, for example in the car. Poor, poor radio, how you’ve grown old and useless, overtaken by more important mediums that will one day see their own end.

humid

humid and hard to breath. Me and the girlfriend have been arguing, again, like this is all there is to do in this room. Through the open window comes the talk of drunks who chatter like chimps and always keep us awake.

disconnect

It’s all I think about.. It’s not all I think about. I can’t tell what I think; I only disconnect. It’s kind of like filling yourself in reverse.

convertible

Says to me a car, some kind of moving roof on top of a mini or an overly elegant sports car. It also says to me “change” and the ability to do so, whether for better or for worse.

startled

We kind of just sat there staring at each other. Neither of us spoke the other’s language though it was obvious we were both attracted to one another. I always thought that awkward moments are supposed to decrease significantly in number after a certain point. Obviously, I haven’t reached it.

Maybe I should drive myself to school instead of catching the bus?

Caught by surprise, but not pleasantly so.

What does this mean?

Will I be safe?

What opportunities?

Just to back off a little now, and see what’s really going on. Nothing serious, I see. I just got caught again.

gentle

The man gently set the woman down in the green bladed grass. Her ivory face was nearly blinding in the bright light from the trifecta of suns. As the color drained out of her lips, he bent down to gently brush his mouth against hers for the last time. With that finished he rose, draped his shawl over her body, turned, and walked slowly into the distance.

path

A short walk way normally comprised of rock, or small stones. A path or “cobble stone” path is normally considered a great deal of fun and full of merry ment. The are always happy to have ppl walk on them and make merry times with their women. There is a wonderous place in the hears of pathes that is only found by the one.

» Posted By phil On 10.23.2008 @ 11:00 am

Paths are what you follow to get to a certain destination, be it physical or mental. I can’t really think right this second. I feel like I’m being tricked, as i’ve never used this website before. We’ll see… I have to pee really badly too. Too much water with dinner…

bulb

Funny to think of the hundreds if not thousands of light bulbs we have available today. I beleive edison tried and failed over 10,000 times to invent a light bulb.
