mist

is the dreary mist of the forest I walked for days looking towards the skies hoping I’d find her. her to heal everything inside of me. her. nature. pure nature.

tide

In my own version of one of my favorite songs, the boy is left wondering why love can be so cruel and how one can fall out of love so quickly, without a word of notice from the counterpart. maybe love isn’t fallable and never will be. Maybe i should just start to think like a primate. I need to procreate, that’s it.

bleach

sometimes i want to use bleach as a paint to die t shirts. i’ve seen several blogs that have examples of it, but they always have difficulty mixing and distributing it in an even manner. also on a side note i would never not ever bleach my hair. it is blonde enough.

blocks

I think of children. Little kids and colors. Even though there are millions of kinds of blocks, and blocks could even mean other things like fighting blocks or video game blocks, I think of kid blocks. It might be the colors of the timer and the color of the word. The colorful nature could subconsciously put that in my head.

Your personality has the depth of a penny.

tea

The inner monologues of my head raced as i sat at the table. Facing the greatest enemy of my fragile teenage years. The indus flowed down my face, drenched. The in-laws perched beside the mantle with tea in hand.

waltz

I took my time to watch you gracefully pace your way across the floor. Your hand so delicate in mine. We danced until the sun came alive, a walts that took my breath away.

gentle

The lips i touch so pale and pink, another kiss tonight to seal my teeth. The truths we bare alone tonight, held tight and grasped between my palms. I love you gentle dearest.

her smooth skin always reminds me of the way that cream seems like it would feel if it were solid. Or maybe, the taste of cream implis a sort of gentle nature. A mystic allure of the soft flesh that doesn’t apply to me r my gender.

recall

i recall the day i lost my childhood, awash with colours i went towards the light, hoping, praying to see the one person that mattered more than anything, a casket, a heart, my grandfather.

solstice

Honestly, I never saw why the solstice is so special in today’s society. I think the celebration has become more focused on tradition than any honor for the time itself. There’s no reason for us to honor it. It doesn’t affect us as it did our ancestors. For them, it was a sign of the easing of their hardships. For us, it is nothing. Most do not even know what it is. I do enjoy the fun though.

remember

i remember once years year years ago when i was young and i would star up and the stars and wonder what it would be like to go so far away. i had so many huge dreams when i was younger. over time ive gained expierence and made a lot more memories
and this curse of knowledge has eaten up a lot of dreams. things i know will never happen. over life you turn your dreams into memories.

purse

I dropped my purse on the ground.

Her purse seems to hold her life in it. when she is without it the world stops until she can pick it up again. She left it here at my apartment. This could be a good sign.

beloved

Beloved is one who not only is dear to you, but one whom you would do anything for, even rebuke. When Paul talks about the beloved, it is his family he is writing to, in all sincerity with no other thoughts than their eternal well being. Do I love someone that much?

corner

Everyone is shoved into corners, pushed around in society. The social corner is the hardest place to be for some, while for others, it’s the best place in the world. Maybe we should all sit quietly in the social corner.

meant

What I meant to say was that I really miss you.
I cant explain how this should be, or why I didnt just say it right off.
What I meant to say was that without you my life is empty, cold, barren.
What you meant to me

happy

I cornered him on the bed we had shared for years and asked “Aren’t you happy?” He chose to look away and in that moment I knew it was time to leave him. From that day I on, I regret asking that, especially when my current significant other asks the exact same question.

salt

She looked at me in the booth at our once favorite diner and asked for the salt shaker. Still livid, I sat there, unmoving. “Salt, please” she asked again. I sat there silently. She began to raise her voice, “WOULD YOU PLEASE PASS THE SALT!?” I would not budge. She then slipped out of the booth and grabbed the salt herself. I still haven’t forgiven her for what she had done. Who in their right mind would ever wear that particular shade of orange, anyway? I tell you, the Versace brand is simply not what it used to be.

passport

My passport. It tells everyone who I am, Where I’m from, and where I’ve been. What it does not tell you is why I went where. Nor who I met. And I’ve met some amazing people. I love looking at my passport remembering all those crazy people I will never see again.

limit

The only limit in my life is myself, which at most times is an impeding limitation of which limits my innermost dreams and desires. Progress is made with this realization however, so now I see the true limit.

hanger

Looking into my closet, I realize I have nothing to wear. There is nothing but empty hangers. It’s not that I’ve been too lazy to do laundry, too busy. Everyone’s heading out tonight, and I am looking through my basket to find a dirty shirt to be easily cleaned.
