She rang a delicate sterling bell, and a man appeared, adorned in a sleek black & white uniform.

She didn’t know what to do. It hurt so much. He was everything to her. He made her world shine so brightly and gave her life meaning. How would she go on. How could she recover? She’s too broken to know how.

Time was ticking, every second feels like an hour, and she was going to be late. Frustration and pent-up anger was filled in her chest, but there was nothing she could do about it. Even the latest album from her favorite artist couldn’t calm her down. She ended up letting out a loud groan and stare at the long line of vehicles in front of her. Through the window, she could see the plethora of vehicles lining up behind her. Oh, today was going to be a very long day.

That one kind man who loves the flowers like they’re his own child. He takes care of them, he waters them, and he doesn’t leave them even if they hurt him.

what it must be, in the mornings. the sun is a match to some people, the crisp zip as it strikes the box, and here they rise from bed, renewed. I rarely notice the light till noon.

The night in her mind was a haze, she had only hardly put together the events based on what she had heard in the coffee room the morning after. She had lost her bag, injured her elbow, and fallen sleep in the taxi. There was one thing she remembered though, the sight of her boss in the stairwell, holding a glass of water with the streetlight glowing behind him like a halo: biblical.

on which you ride when it’s time to go. If you’e late, you won’t have a chance to think. You’ll kiss your mother’s cheek, clasp her hand, hug your father. You’ll get on and you’ll see them out the window but then everything will be moving, moving, very suddenly and it will be good to know they are still waving, there, behind you. You would like to be sure of it. That’s impossible

the beads, next to each other, rainbow. Color. The mornings we sat in a flood of sun and pieced them together, pieced ourselves together, backyard by backyard, playground by playground. Classroom after classroom, the new Gothic ones I enter now. I heard they lead us through an arch. There’s no looking back.

Shells are found at the beach in California which is the place i love, I go there in the summer time. I collect shells with the sand, and put them into a bottle. & then i bring them back home. some shells are beautiful, some have the prettiest of colors on them.

What are they? Little dots that make up a picture… How many pixels does one really need before tey become redundant? I remember when digital cameras first came out and i was certain that 4. Megapixels were enough. Now the numbers are into the double digits. The same with spf factors for sunscreen. I used to think that 30 was enough but now you get into the triple digits. Are all numbers destined for inflation? How does it affect the quality of our lives?

She felt sad but it was almost like her sadness was fabricated by all that had happened that morning. It wasn’t real sadness, it was a make-believe feeling, a construction.

Listening is something that some people find hard to do. When I was growing up, my mother used to say to me a lot that there was a big difference between hearing and listening, and I always thought she was completely mental and honestly a bit annoying. Now, however, i can see how right she was. You can talk and talk and argue and discuss until you’re “blue in the face”, but if the other person is just hearing you instead of listening, then you will find yourself having wasted your time. In order to fully comprehend another person’s point of view, we need to ensure that we truly are listening as opposed to just hearing. Take a moment to think about what that person has just said to you. Pick at it and look at it from different angles. Test it to see what it feels like coming from yourself before you answer. Consider. Listen.

back from a summer of newness
to oldness, in June we dry
our tears and walk again,
the summer as a long sidewalk
in which we greet those we know
nod, grasp their fingertips,
and walk on.

stalled, horses. Are they in stalls? What does this mean. This is a new word for me. I can only think of horses. I’m sure they may not even relate. Stallled. I was stalled, he was stalled. I stalled at him? No, I stalled at the stairs.

Darn do I love my husband! Love him to death…. yep. Death. That’s why I’m holding his severed head by the roots of its chestnut brown hair… HA! My husband was a worthless, cheating scumbag with nothing to his name. I cant believe I married him.. What lured me in about him the first place? Was it his looks? Well, his acne scarred face left little to be desired….He had no money to speak of… Whatever it was, I hope you were happy, Harold. Without you, I’m eternally happier. Till death do us part? Consider us… parted.

I think back to the days where we weren’t allowed to kill our brothers and sisters. How painful those years must have been. Yet America fell into utter chaos the day before we changed that law. Thank goodness- I was able to kill then and there. In fact, I’ve just taken three hearts yesterday!

I am sure of many things. And i am unsure in even more things. But i know that i am here to live my life to the fullest. I am sure I can change things and that things can change me. I am sure and I am unsure. That’s just how life goes. =)

The sone is an affected room. affected by you. affected by whoever or whatever is there. Love the zone and give it air to breathe. or infinity, who knows. Much better with air though, it helps other humans too.

yummy and chewy. The flavor and the scent is amazing and the verity of those two things are endless, which makes great for anyone in any age. I particularly like the gum from Dominican Republic, It is sweet and it last longer then usual gum types.

it rained down on us, like a bucket over our heads. Cold shot through us to our bones and we felt it deep in our guts. The rivulets ran down our spine and soaked our shirts to our backs. Instantly cooling us from the heat of the mid summer day.

The place where you remain. You always have a setting and it can change, quite often. Though perhaps your greatest setting isn’t exactly the things around you, but the people. Your mother, standing off to the side, watching you take your first steps as an adult. Your father, trying not to beat the shit out of that boy who wants to take you out on that date.

The edge of my world is non existent. My dreams have no limits. People who wonder their whole lives waiting for something “better” would not understand the concept to my thoughts.

I decided not to celebrate the death of my cousin like I wanted to. Honestly, I hated her and her dying didn’t seem to strike me in any way sad. In truth, I wish she’d never even met me . Something about her always seemed to irritate me even if she hadn’t spoke a word at all. Just her.
But ofcourse, I attend her funeral and fain content sadness as the coffin rolls by.

hair soft as silk flowing down her back, like a river of chocolate. luscious in its entirety. I have a strong impulse to touch it, to feel it running through my fingers endlessly. soft as silk.
