Amazed, shocked, stunned. She hadn’t even said hello yet, no words were spoken, there was just silence that would be uncomfortable in any other meeting. There was something between them that didn’t require words, it was there, the promise of countless conversations about to spill into being.

The willow’s yellow leaves fall like rain on the tall fall grass. There’s no more summer, just another tree dropping it’s life.

When I was 7, I had a few teeth fall out, in the front. The new ones had just come in and were big and shiny. I jumped off the back porch and there was a stake sticking out of a flower pot and you couldn’t see looking right down on it. It went through my left front tooth, knocking it back in my head like a little hinged door. Ouch.

I’ll admit nothing. I didn’t do it, no one saw me do it, you can’t prove anything. The last thing they said was that I’d never be asked questions, now here you are, asking! Be gone with you!

The man spiked the ball as hard as he could. He shouted into the face of his competion and gloated over the victory. It was short lived though and was overshadowed by a punch in the face.

This is the word that just came up and I will write about it. Affection has something to do with love I believe. It is a very powerful word and everyone should feel it before they die because it is a wonderful thing. It is greater than hatred, though hatred is strong. Affection towards each other is a strong bond between two individuals, making them higher and more important to one another.

Not the safest thing, but I used to walk on the railroad when I was a kid and collect pig iron for my slingshot. That whole doppler affect thing about not hearing a train coming if you’re in front of it? It’s true! I almost got squished by a freight train moving at a brisk clip. The tracks draw you in though, they bed to be walked along…

Standing at the shore I could smell the odor from the shrimp bar next door.

I spent weeks trying to decide which ensemble I should wear to the Christmas banquet. Needless to say, I ended up spending exorbitant amounts of money on an outfit. I ripped the dress.

Help. It’s such a simple word but it has so many different meanings. Help him, help me, help yourself; I need emotional help, I need physical help, I’ve gone crazy.

Which one do you mean? Take a close look at yourself. Do you feel that unbearable emptiness sucking you in? That hollow bit in your chest, like somebody cut you open and took everything out? That’s what I need help with. That emptiness that nothing can fulfill. I need help.

But sometimes we can only help ourselves.

The stain wouldn’t come out. No matter how much he scrubbed, his white shirt would forever be stained a deep maroon. The dance was a success.

I thought it was punch. It looked like punch, and had the consistency of punch, but with one sip I knew… the Seniors had pulled off their prank.

Hats used to be my thing. I collected them. I wore them. She burned them. All. I’ve always heard hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I learned just how painful cliches can be when they show up in real life and a lifetime, $200k hat collection is lost.

God’s been calling me for awhile, I just haven’t picked up the phone anymore.

There was no other feeling that I could ever have remembered as being so warm, so filling, so hopeful, and so exciting as the feeling of being overjoyed when I saw her face emerge through the crowd at the busy terminal. It was like life was real to me again.

I could still hear the rustling, but could see nothing through the mist save the ominous form of a dark figure. Tall, menacing, with an air of darkness that seemed to protrude from him, rather than follow meekly behind.

That’s what I heard that sent my heart racing faster than I had ever felt before. Rustling. Behind me. In a foreign place, with no friends, no weapon for defense, and no way to escape what is coming upon me.

As i stood there looking at the fire as i left the bonfire i knew that my friends’ and my relationship would no longer be the same. I was different. My five week college course had already scuplted my brain and thoughts.

The distance from home to the place I am now is many, many miles. Not that we’re distant. The phone, the internet, and passion connect me to where I am from. It’s that my heart has found another. Miles from home.

all of a sudden there was a crash of light and all was fine. the world made sense and the earth was in harmony. all of a sudden we were happy. intrinsically. happy

where have we driven? driven places? driven to do something? driven out? happened to us all. but you know, you can drive unless you’ve been driven one way or another.

» Posted By Kevin On 07.22.2010 @ 9:33 pm

we were driven to extremes in the icy cold of the north with bears and cariboo and dogs with nothing but our wits and a pocket knife. We were in love with life but it all had to end.

I took the leash in my hand. Tank just wanted to go, he’d been waiting for his walk all week, so he had deserved it. Maybe if he goes to the bathroom, he’ll get a treat afterwards!

Large and dangerous creatures. They are champions of the forest. Teddys are seen as snuggling and comforting, but grizzlys are scary. Be cautious.

Well the Roman are the first thing to come to mind I suppose. In particular Medusa and that guy who slayed (is that correct? Probably not) her by pointing his shield at her. The good news of course is that she had a hot bod.

Michael Angelo Carved a statue of a man with tits. He was a flaming homosexual. But a great artist nontheless. Homosexual tendencies havent changed much thoughout the ages.
