a dryer is a partner to a washer. it can also be a hair dryer. it can also be the way my hands feel in winter. and boy do they feel dryer every single day! I can use my hair dryer to create a beautify look – without frying my hair.

I hate feeling helpless. That’s why I do so much work on my own. I want to make sure that I can always survive on my own unless people who just wait for someone else to take care of them. I’m thinking about learned helplessness and how we can avoid that too. Oh my gosh this is so hard and my time is almost up! I am helpless to control the actions of others but I’m learning how to deal with that.

bright lights shining lighting up faces, arms, skin.
the mind – deep thoughts filled with ah-ha moments bursting to share
Hearts, glowing on skin, a type of radiance.

I think of cities, the inner circles, revolving. The heart of something, the center.

I love to Crochet, but often I use a pattern. Patterns are amazing things that let you make whatever you want! “Patterns” , “I love Patterns.”

The scuba diver leapt off the edge of the boat and plunged into the icy waters below. He was anxious because this wasn’t a pleasurable trip. He was searching the waters for a person. Hoping to come up with a live person. But the probability was unlikely.

I had a breakthrough thought the other day. What if life is all about happenstance. That everything is random, but meant to be, both at the same time. The opportunities that are meant for us come to us. It’s a beautiful thought.

“The stars they could reach were just starfish on the beach” … the line rang through my head, as I sat in quiet reflection. It’s one of the saddest songs I’ve ever heard in my life, but it’s so beautiful. Sometimes the saddest songs say the most.

The birds are chirping loudly outside my bedroom window, waking me up at 5am, while the first glimpses of sunlight appear through the curtains. I love spring. I love the reemergence of the sun, and the birds, and the leaves on the trees. Coming out of the darkness, and into my prime.

Oh man, I was starving yesterday. After running 8km through the park, I was desperate for food. But I was also exhausted and didn’t feel like cooking. I called my friends and we went out for delicious Indian food. It was earlier than I normally eat dinner, but I was happy.

I love eyeliner, when I’m in the mood for it. I typically use eyeshadow with an angled brush, in stead of a typical eyeliner pencil. It seems to be easier to apply this way. I like the way it makes my eyes appear more bold, behind my glasses.
I usually only wear eyeliner in the evenings, or if I want to make a strong statement. Eyeliner really brings my eyes out. It’s fun to experiment with different styles of makeup. My go-to colour for eyeliner is black.

makes me think of the hanging chad sketches they did on SNL after W won the election. I see images in my minds eye of re white and blue of those I voted stickers, and sickeningly of trump’s smiling face, how horrible.

Freedom and courage to start new, to realize your potential and have a fresh slate, a new opportunity, and time to make amends, time to forget who you were and begin being who you want to be.

There is a young child who has been uneducated. Who doesn’t understand big long complicated words because their brain doesn’t work like that, they get confused easily and distracted. So long words like institute are not easy to read, say or understand for this young uneducated child. they don’t work the same like us. They are different just because they don’t understand big, long word because their brain doesn’t want them too. They get bullied and picked on by people who don’t understand what they are going through. They are called stupid and slow by their teachers their parents just call them special. when really its a lot more than that.

Which would have advanced the most at the end of a month–the boy who had made his own jackknife from the ore which he had dug and smelted, reading as much as would be necessary for this–or the boy who had attended the lectures on metallurgy at the Institute in the meanwhile, and had received a Rodgers’ penknife from his father?

There was lipstick on his collar. She gazed at him with eyes that were full of questions. He looked back at her, unaware of what to say. Her lips finally parted, and before she knew it accusations upon accusations were hitting him.

the steep steps headed stright for the roof. he wondered what he would do when we got to the top but just shrugged his shoulders and headed up. this is not going to be easy he thought as he pulled one leg up and then the other. oh boy.

the building block of growth and struggle. you need me to become strong. it’s so interesting that there’s something you could need just to build muscle. hasn’t it been waiting all along? but here I am. babies get it in their mother’s milk. adults get it from animals. we all get it from somewhere.

Silence is a beautiful thing. It can haunt, excite, make one feel unspoken emotion. Finding silence is a treasure.

Let me tell you a tale of a boy and a girl, caught up in one chaotic swirl. They landed in the woods, covered with hoods, no sure of their story, oh well. A witch came to them with a grin on her face, took the inside and showed them her place. What happens next?

I am like a knot, coming undone. My world is falling apart, nothing is working out right. I am untying. I have nobody to pull me back together, to fix me, so I will continue to unravel until I am completely undone, nothing but a rope on the floor.

The way I feel about him is mysterious. I can’t explain why or how I feel the way that I do. It’s almost nice to know that I can’t explain my love for him.

He put on his cloak as he walked down the dirty cobblestone steps. A mysterious death of a pretty young girl was on his mind. He lifted his tophat as he entered the carriage of a concerned father wanting to know the whereabouts of his son in the army. Although he should have been concerned, he could not stop staring at this father’s terrible black boils all over his arms and neck. “Looks like the plague has truly taken over.” He thinks to himself while trying not to breathe too close to him.
