she opened up the bottle and drank up every drop of wine hoping to have it reach her core and warm her. she didn’t care about the voice in her head telling her to stop or the faces of friends and family that floated before her eyes

I once had a huge houseboat on a lake in indiana. it was a dirty lake and not worth the money for the dock fee. I shared the boat with my evil bitch ex gf that screwed me over by sleeping with our best friend at the lake. they kept the boat on the dirty lake.

Swelling like a balloon, a massive red boil and over the beach crashing, wave’s swell. Englishman passes by, and says “gov’nor what a swell day,” and it makes me want to go out for some orange scones and english muffins and grab a latte at Starbucks minus all that sugar and cream. Might’nt you come with me to enjoy it? And our chests would swell with pride in our friendship but keep prudence!

When I was little I wanted one. My grandmother said I couldn’t have a bunny. For easter she bought me this stupid stuffed one that had a switch. You flipped the switch and it did flips. I felt bad because she thought it was cute. I thought it was ridiculous and I was only 8.

so i grabbed the microphone and looked at the audience and froze. A million thoughts ran through my head… Was I supposed to picture everyone naked. Why is the spotlight shaking… I can’t feel my legs… Someone coughed, bringing me back to reality.

The ability to think. Is it innate? Inborn?
Someone told me I had intuition. Is it something you can have? A hunch? Insight?

Dirty. Gossip. Toilet paper. “I <3 Tommy.”
I wish I could stall this moment. Stop it.

I never thought she’d stop caring. It was only a matter of time, they said. I didn’t believe them, and now she’s gone.

I would like your permission to marry your son.
He is the man of my life the sun of my day. Your permission is not necessarily needed, I will love him either way. I just want you to know, that you should be there when we walk down the aisle.

adapting to a new situation can be scary. it can be challenging. but when you adapt to a foreign situation, it always brings a feeling of accomplishment. knowing you had to push your boundaries and step out of that comfort zone to adapt to a new situation or place. isnt that what lifes about?

I heard the keys jangling in my purse and knew they were there. But they were being elusive that day, hiding in all the nooks and crannies of the minutia of my purse.

I glanced over at the clock and thought, “Do I have to get up? I sure hope not yet….”
Glance always implies a positive tone I think. It’s a hopeful word, like you will see a good thing when you glance at something.

I glanced backwards quickly, my breath catching, as my mind attempted to process what I had just seen. It was him, wasn’t it? That had to be him, that too familiar shaggy brown hair that was melting into the crowded hallway. My breath came in gasps as I lost sight of him and fell into the wall behind me. What was he doing back?
