our eyes flutter open and we for a moment cannot speak. the sun is too blinding, too much of a shock. sensory overload. it reaches through our irises, streaking through nerves, carrying impulses to the throat and shutting it, like a gated community at the first whiff of so-called riff-raff.

She sat on the cold floor of the room, and rocked herself back and forth. All she wished for was some comfort, a hug, anything. But there was none. The silence remained, and she was alone.

It is used to release wrinkles from clothes using heat. Metal on the bottom. Also uses steam to get rid of wrinkles. It is also an element within the earth used in many appliances and everyday items. The core of the Earth contains a good amount of iron.

When I think of mystery’s I think of nancy drew. I saw the movie once, the one with Emma Roberts. It was kind of a bad movie. But I also think of how in 4th grade, my class studied mystery’s. It was such a fun year

A beautiful setting is what I need right now. I could set my book there and it could be a bestseller. Or a beautiful setting for a play yes than the play would do well, many people would buy tickets

When I think setting, I think setting things up. Setting the dinner table. Setting the scene. Setting myself up for success, or more recently, failure. It seems all my decisions have set me up for this one moment of realization that I’m nowhere close to where I wanted to set myself up to be.

I suppose this is a weird word. How can one write about the word “suppose”? Suppose the person writing doesn’t know what the word “suppose” means. How is everyone supposed to know what these words mean? Supposedly, not everyone is as intelligent as they seem. What’s this supposed to mean anyways? Am I supposed to write a story? Am I supposed to write an essay? Supposedly I’m supposed to write something… but why do they suppose I know what I’m supposed to write? I suppose I’ll have to just deal with it.

A chance is something not everyone gets. When you get a chance, you take it. Because you never know when there will be another one. IF there’s another one. Take a chance, because if you don’t, nothing will ever change. You cant wait to get a chance, you have to act. If you go out and work for something, you’ll have a chance to get better. To get a chance, is to have a chance.

Take a chance. Go for it. If you dont take a chance, nothing will ever change. Chances are like shooting stars, you dont always get them at the right time, you just have to hope that you do.

The answers like in the most secret of places, yet always hide in plain sight. It doesn’t matter who or where, how or why, it just is. Answers are much like perceptive truths rather than concrete evidence.

i remember, i remember saying. i recall the atmosphere, the mood, the way the sunlight gave the trees a shimmer quality, the gentle breeze, the smell of his cigar smoke wafting amongst the garden

The chorus sang like an angelic symphony of voice in the chapel of light. The higher the notes got the more ecstasy they felt as their notes combined and formed a heavenly harmonic.

deadbolt, the dead bolt that keeps the door shut was heavily rusted on the old, creaky house, no one has ever gone this way before its off limits and our parents warn us from going near it. Our friends all tell us scary stories of it being haunted a dmurders hanging round the old house.

every time we drive past the trailer park, I feel a bit sad. Is it their choice to live in this place? I aspire to more than that. I would like to live there for a while to see what it’s like, but.. to me, it seems discomforting and too fragile.

“it’s still there!”
“what’s still there?”
“the styrofoam!”
“what styrofoam?”
“in the bottom of the trash, it didn’t go into the dumpster again…it’s just stuck there.”
“oh, well, can you reach it?”
“no, it’s just stuck.”
“then leave it.”

You reach for my hand and pull me close and because I have horrible balance, I fall and end up on your lap, my face just inches away from that danger zone. You laugh before I can get embarrassed and slide your arms underneath mine and pull me up, up, up until our faces are mere millimeters away and I can smell the whiskey on your lips.

Ego is something Freud thought of , within his psychoanalytical scheme. There was the id, ego and superego. The superego is the “goal” while the ego helps temper the id.
Ego is also a term for someone’s confidence level. Or even synonymous with “arrogance.” Saying “he’s got quite the ego” is more common than “she has no ego.”

the court room. the stage. theres no difference.
one fills me with dread. one creates the illusion of dread.
if anyone found out what ui did in my spare time, i wouldn’t really care. its not like im embarrassed. all im worried about is their reactions. what type of woman spends their time on stage, coated in makeup. singing. dancing. acting.
the type of woman with my job. not a woman who never has time to put ON makeup. its inapporopriate to sing and dance while working. its foolish to act.
but then if i didnt embrace this i WOULD be acting.
its easy to be a hypocrite around here

So basics. The foundations of everything that we have. Where it starts and how it all ends up. We begin with the basics. And all of a sudden we have… a story. A tale to tell everyone all about all because of what they knew from the beginning. From our basics. Insane. Right?
