The static downpour pounded on the car roof as we powered down the highway. I had only just come home from school that day to find that my dad had everything packed, suitcases lined up at the bottom of the stairs and him announcing that we were leaving.
For some reason he’d always just randomly decide to move, completely uprooting our seemingly happy lives just as we begin to integrate into our new neighborhood and move.

I was her husband, I was married to her and wed to her until death did us part. As the years went by and the honeymoon period went by, our love disappated and faded. I longed for the same passion that we held in the first stages of our relationship, the fire, the air, the life.

It was the ultimate sacrifice. But if it was done to save her, to save Alice, then I would do anything to save her life. Is my life is what was required to save her’s, I would happily send my soul to the underworld knowing that she was going to live a happy life. And she would.

The riots were spreading. Originally the started in the west of the country, but as news spread so did the riots, like a virus taking hold of the citizens and forcing them to riot. The destroyed everything in their wake; shops, houses, lives. They stopped at nothing to complete their goal, but no one really new what that goal was: was it something noble, like standing up against an oppressive government, or simply to revel in the destruction of other people’s property?

I sat still, letting the tranquil, calm breeze lazily blow by. I listened to the wind whispering through the trees, and the near by ocean coming in and out, whispering in sync with my breathing. This was my place. My place to escape. My place for solitude and peace, to get away from the noise and the sounds, and find comfort.

Life in hell
job you hate
look at them wallow and wither
wither like summer grass
along pointless roads in an unknown country
Bereft or reprieve

I used to trade pokemon cards when I was a kid. It was a lot of fun. I remember how excited I would get about going to Pokemon tournaments and getting my ass kicked. And I always did get my ass kicked. But it was still something I could look forward to all week…I loved mingling with my fellow Pokemon nerds. Those people are great people! Always fun to socialize with. Good times!

Punishments may not be the best way to change someone. As research have shown, putting people in a jail might just be the worst kinds of punishment. The environment in a jail forces people to become more violent and destructive, therefore, instead of adding sentence and wasting people’s lives, maybe the best sort of punishment is improvement.

the blunt side of the stick stung my back creating sweltering bruises that purpled and blackened with every blow. But each hit taught me one thing, never give in, never give in no matter what.

My girlfriend seems so near sometimes, so close I can almost taste her. Then I wake up from my little fantasy world and realize she is hundreds of miles away.

is spastic. It comes back when you snap it. Stop being torn and just morph like elastic. Not plastic, not hard, not made from a mold. Not tactic not drastic just a rubber band

Trophy, usually seen in a positive light. Trophies are held in high esteems in our modern American culture as a symbol of success, determination, and guts. Trophies, however, can also be animals or humans that have been killed. Most hunters take their prey’s head, props it up against a wall, and lumps it off with an axe to display it on their wall.

and it’s gone,
my life is gone, I
wondered if i had thrown wrong.
perhaps by some misfortune, I
have lost and was
meant to win instead.
yet I am glad,
for the moment before
I was happy

I am terrible for crushes. I have fallen in love with people, had an entire relationship with them, had the relationship hit the rocks and sadly part ways without us ever speaking a word to each other.

Wonder is a great tool for the human mind. When you wonder, you think of anything that comes to your mind. Great way to relax and poof your mind goes.

Rise up my friends. It’s time we set foot on a new path towards victory. We need to give up our past, and live in the future. Let’s go.

For some reason stairs come to mind. I have this thing where I have to count stairs, and stairs have corners so I guess that makes sense? I feel like the point of this website is to evoke some kind of deep emotional reaction to words. But that’s all I got.

O my what despair. Despair that I cannot pair, for one is missing. The one with the tattered lace; that is singular. Despair, for i like my shoe.

pretzel is a fucking twisted piece of crunchy ass bread product that i prefer to be slightly salted. mustard is the preferred condiment with a pretzel but if you’re a weirdo nacho cheese works too.
» Posted By Ian On 05.22.2011 @ 10:33 pm
A pretzel has many twists and turns, like life, but you have to take it with a grain of salt. No pretzel is perfect, sometimes they’re shaped funny, or burned, but the reality is they are all equally beautiful and unique, and no, I’m not still talking about pretzels.

Domestic animals, should come from domestic places. It saves energy from transportation and you can support a local cost instead of major international companies.

a place where no matter what you do or what you know all your efforts go no where, there is no one listening, no one watching. You are just being wasted. Time to move from this wasteland to a Appreciation Land or even thank you land :)
» Posted By Ian On 05.14.2011 @ 7:13 am
Wasteland, let’s not turn our world into a wasteland, and instead make it a happy place where bunnies run around and gold grows on trees.
