One avenue I took this morning was definitely a wrong one. I thought I was going into town by this shortcut yet I was interrupted by a strange looking shop offering the most curious of bargains. Of course I entered but was somewhat taken aback by the price of a newspaper which came to 1 soul.

Who would have thought the chance of Man U scoring 8? Did the Gunners forget to turn up or were United that good? I fancy it was a bit of both but North London wont be happy. How much longer will it be before change comes along?

Nothing to do with star wars. No, but merely the fact that we’re forced to do as we’re told. Don’t you ever wonder what it’d be like to do as you like. Of course not, you’re indoctrinated to believe in non free will despite the fact you’re told you’re free. Free? Don’t be ridiculous. Now get back to work and do as you’re told.

You can’t put two hundred tonnes on the water. Those were the words Jason spoke with so much vigour. The Captain ignored his protests and champagne struck the side of the boat. The ship slid in and did not stop until it had finished sinking.

The forest was quiet. The denizens had long since flown. The trees bowed in sadness for even the birds had flown. Yet one creature remained. He stood in defiance at the oncoming yellow beast. He would not give up his home to the trucks.

I am a winner in procrastination. For long periods of my day I sit pondering on what or what not to write. My success is the reward of an empty page and the feeling of emptiness I get. Oh what a life. I wonder what I will not be doing on this day. Perhaps, perhaps I just just navel gaze at the empty screen.

Ok. I confess I really did steal that newspaper from yesterday. I don’t see the big deal. Surely, all that’s going to happen is that it is going to whack some poor unfortunate wasp on the back. Besides they haven’t even filled the crossword in that’s why I took it. What! You’re giving me three months!

The opposite of far. Sometimes though, it’s better to be far wouldn’t you agree? I mean, you could be near the edge of a volcanic crater or someone with some rather infectious disease that you really wouldn’t want. So, for me I think I’ll take the far option, sod getting the near thing.

Some things don’t bear thinking about. I mean, the age of discovery? It all sounds so grand yet I discovered something this morning. Damn hard to even mention it. I guess you want to know what I found then. How about the money for the papers missing from my pocket.

Questions. I’ve plenty of them yet never do I find the answers. I mean think about it. What would you most like to know? Where do we go when we die? What’s the point of it all? Why? I bet we could just shorten all our questions to why couldn’t we?

stretchy. Against the wind it does not buckle instead bends, bends then yields under my weight. Crowds wave and I return their appreciation. Back, back we go and then at last the release and I fly, the veritable human catapult.

I sit. Eyes ahead. Hands on wheel. I see blue. I pause. Deep thoughts. Yet. Will I? Won’t I? Foot to floor. No going back. My car flies. Rocks await me.
