Great thing you pulled there. Now we have to clean up your mess and you don’t care.

Weird under water clown outfits floating in terror. Not breathing.

I cannot see the mountains behind the pollution. Perhaps if I move a little closer, bend upside down I will see the beauty behind what is infront of me.

She felt hapless as she stood in the rain waiting for the bus. It was late and so was she. How was she ever to arrive to the appointment on time. Perhaps her luck would turn around if only she could get to that meeting on time.

It is actually very cold today. No need for poetics. It has been raining, pouring all day. The wind howling. I will take cold rainy days almost any day, until I am ready for the sun to shine again. What a lovely, cold, cold, day.

Look at the bowtie that fellow is wearing over there. It accents the vest that hugs his broad chest. He looks as though he would arrive at a blue door with a rose. The girl would step out looking beautifully similar to Zooey Deschanel.

She seated herself down on the metal chair located just outside the cafe. She ordered a cappuccino and a scone. She was not hungry, but wanted to embrace the coffee and a snack mentality that seems to be so popular at these sidewalk cafes.

I was revved up by the moment. Who knew such a simple moment could awaken my spirit with excitement. I kept going and discovered that, at the end of it all I still felt like the same person that I was before, but I was a little more alive. I found myself excited for that feeling again.

“The grass is greener on the other side.” I remember him saying. But the grass was not greener, it was blue. I walk through it now, thinking of the bluegrass music I heard so many years ago. It seems to play on ion the back of my mind. I think of Neil, the fiddler in a bluegrass band, my only friend as a child and then the man I secretly loved as a woman. “I love you.” I say, and the words are lost in the wind, going to a place I hope is happier then this. BLUEGRASS,. BLUE GRASS. They seem to be popping up everywhere, pointing to Him. pointing to Neil.

The barrel was round. Of course it was. What other shape would it be? No matter what shape though, I’m hiding behind it. I can’t be found. The men aboard this ship have no idea I’m here, and I intend on keeping it that way for a while. I surely would be keel-hauled if they knew.

Representative of the passion innate in the souls of all people, and unquenchable, fire is the most potent, unstoppable force in the natural world as well.

What binds me to you? Love, perhaps. No. Maybe excitement. I am bound. No I am just lost. What I am bound to is the idea that I don’t have enough. That I need more. How to unbind? I want to feel free. Be bounded only to my wings.

Cho Cho went the train
But the wind blew and blew
My hair went wild
like the eyes of a child
I cant remamber the last time i felt so alive
But i know that i will never want to see you cry.

Is the mother of invention. but there are many things that you don’t even NEED. sure you need air and food, but you dont need that shiny new iphone that just came out. If you don’t need it, dont get it.

It’s a strange word. Sort of French in the beginning. Rationing during the second great war, somewhere in Europe. The longing for manufactured stuff was a long duration, horribly insatiable.

giving your life – your meaning – to someone else, for someone else.
a selfless act of love, fate, etc.
it takes a real person.

morality is overrated. who wants to be a plain jane? when you can do whatever you want, you will find in yourself the ultimate freedom. even if it means stepping on a few toes to get there. morality is a hindrance, even though it’s socially acceptable. deep down, we all want to be immoral, and if we were, we’d be at peace with ourselves.

Given the chance to go back and start again, I’d hope that I’d be smart enough to not give any of myself to him. Not my trust. Not my heart. Not my virginity.

He brought it for her, but she rejected it. Why doesn’t she see him? He look at her as she walks away, laughing with her friends about his stupidity. He should have known, this just keeps happening.

I love styrofoam. It’s fun, easy and makes a really good fort. Forts are also fun, and styrofoam makes it all the better. THIS IS SUPER POINTLESS!!! Styrofoam is typically white but comes in a variety of different colors, such as pink or blue or purple or green or yellow or black or brown or even rainbow. Probably I’ve only ever seen white styrofoam but, hey, a gal can dream, right?

What gets lost and thrown away. What was useful, like a mother’s love, but isn’t now, ‘cos you’re all grown, and inside you the child is crying out but can’t be heard. An ear trumpet for example, or a mangle?

Full of old dusty books. Leather bound beauties waiting to be discovered, all splendid in red and gold. The occassional ‘Horrid Henry’ popped in for your own amusement.

The sheets have been wrapped up in bubble paper, plastic spheres I pop for fun, because sheets don’t need extra insulation.

It was just a tiny fragment, no bigger than a grain of sand, who would have thought it could have done so much….

Carefully I went down the steps wondering what was lurking below.

I’ve always been afraid of the unknown and this was no different. What was there? Was it just the wine bottles collecting dust? The stray cat that somehow came into the house?

it was when I was in the 10th grade that I started hanging out with Roland and his gigantic cadillac convertible. we went to the beach, to town. I was so happy to be out with a boy. he was nice and fun and stylish, but I did not know about gay boys at that time.
