Her silence spoke to me from the far off distance she knew I could see in her eyes,
convincing me she traveled too far away to return.

I reclined into the couch of her yawn
as she blinked several times,
fluffing her feather pillow eyes
where my stare could sleep

He crouched his head so hard
into his shoulders
to seek shelter from her stare that
beat down on his acne
that spelled in brail, “i’m just hitting puberty”
across his face.

I hold the whole Earth in my hand.
My pores soak in all of Life as
my hairs stand to honor Humanity.
Antartica cools my wrist and its icebergs exfoliate my skin.
The Pacific Ocean rests nicely in my palm that is tickled
by the occasional dolphin that jumps to say hello
as my pinky sunbaths across sands of the Sahara.
My index finger flows down the Amazon,
moisturized by its dark, jungle mud.
My middle finger says fuck off to military bases
& erases the nation lines drawn in dirt that separate us
with my thumb presses hard on the hearts of all politicians
who choose war over peace.

She was waiting for it to shootout all over her face. But 8 times in one day was too much for him.

They came down from the poor place
that rose above the town of Average.
The residents there tried to divide them,
subtract them, round them up,
with the common.
But no, no, they were not common.
They were comets, absolutely unstoppable.
No language could math them,
they were so far,
so far above the rest,
their words were sounded far away,
like calculus to a kindergartner.

If you divide the well known greats from what they stole from the unknown others they’d equal out to average – at best.

Gymnast words somer-assaulted
from the bars of your tongue
and bounced off your cushion lips,
landing way too hard on my heart.
Your standard, ending routine.
A perfect execution.

Question: When you see an anthills, you see nature right? Well, then why don’t you see nature when you see a skyscrapers and cities?
Think about it…

After an initial flash of blue, there I was, there it was with all the division subtracted by scale; Earth, surrounded by devouring darkness that swallowed all comprehension. Reducing hundreds of billions of stars to dim dust, bits of bioluminescent phytoplankton floating in a shoreless, bottomless ocean.

Your final words pepper-sprayed my eyes, and unable to speak without breaking, you left me there abandoned as an egg with a shell too weak to ever receive the warmth of without breaking; unable to nurture the life-force that wanted to grow, with all its existence, in my core, my yolk.
My shell slowly thinning with the daylight that poked through with its tint of blue like young happy children lifting a bucket lid to watch a hurt bird die..the blue that you flew into, to warmer, happier lands. Leaving me behind to a winter that would never end.

Broken over the Peruvian Andres, La Oroya lays dying. Impaled through her center by a smokestack scorched to black, salting the the blood of her children with lead to preserve them in sickness that only South America knows.

Soaked in too much sadness to absorb, her sponge reached its limit and wrung itself out her swelling, sudsy eyes.

Clutching a bag of stale bread as though it was secret magic, the young boy raised his fist as an offering to the Great Barren Blue who summoned a gray cloud of gulls that rained down on the avenue as he seeded the Earth with crumbs.

A shinning ribbion of wet sand wrapped the secret stretch of beach, offering itself as a gift to me, gesturing me with a handwave of waves to unwrap its warm, white sands with my naked body.

The Greatest Wars
Wage silently all around us
fought in thought
inside each of us,
on the battlefields of our brain.
The Empire of Ego where Hate heralds
and is rained by Sergeant Sorrow Pain
and General Greed Guilt;
commanding an army of innumerable Neurons
who in synchronicity fire their synapses,
and release chemical warfare,
the destruction of dissonance.

Chest plate tectonics shifted with force of a heartquake as my stomach fell and lungs collapsed into their hollow core.

Goosebumps Himalaya upwards from the continents of my body when Nights Umbrella opens, catching a shower of star drops that have fallen through billions of years, like rain through air.

On the night side from outer space, city lights glow far below, spreading like spiders silk. Catching the essence of our evolution in its web that delicately hangs on the surface of space shuttle earth.

I returned to a wetland where I hadn’t been since childhood. I waded the shallow swamp where the threat of drowning came from the mud that met my knees in the first step. The happy blue sky frowned into a sad grey in the water reflection. Barley submerged, I found an 11 year old boy who tried drowning himself there for the past 12 years. He wasn’t heavy enough for the mud to swallow him so with his tears he tried raising the water level.

poverty is poison,
pouring out of the pores
of the poor to the foor
that always gives way,
like a mouse trap to movement,
a snapping collapse
with the lives it holds up.

i am transported back by the sublime decay that only death can bring. pictures fading move like dust across the ground by the wind that finds it way through broken windows,

Spiderweb creek viens catch sediments and transport billions of pieces of millions of years through the slow, sleeping forest floor; mighty rocks that stood on mountain tops weathered to sand that slides over dark, rick, soft silt once the silk skin of a beaver.

i aimed at the target, but i missed. i aimed again, thinking i adjusted, but i missed again. my brain wouldn’t let go of the first thing i saw.

There, where their Future lays hopeless and missed, its virginity robbed, raped, over and over screwed by the pestilence of the Past that never dries on wet tear soaked pages of history, unable to turn to a new chapter without clinging to the pain on prior pages. On those wet pages every new sentence written, no matter how bold bleeds and runs rabid like a dog diseased with rabies attacking its owner, their Future threatening their Now, the only place they exist, never to draw near to it, foaming from the mouth at the present moment that owns it.

the deer bounced over spongy ground layered in years of fallen pine needles. kicking its legs in the air in an attempt to hurt the wind that refuses to blow the pesky flies from its back.

a deer jumps over logs that lie still like dead dogs starved by the owner, racing from a field echoing with gunshots.

today I will succeed into getting a step closer to reaching my goals. Lately i have focusing on my success and it has been proving to be quite challenging. Not so much with regards to the tasks at hand, but more with the people that i come into contact from time to time that can be frustrating to deal with.
