i really hate sideburns, they remind me of elvis presley. i really have never liked them and i don’t know why anyone would. now if it was a 5 o’clock shadow that would be different but forget the old kind.

The depths of misery is what I call despair. When I’ve reached the end of my rope and have no alternatives left to get where I need to be, I’m experiencing gut-wrenching feelings of hopelessness.

I’m stuck in a wasteland. Searching everywhere to find the end. But I don’t see an escape. I feel lost… Stuck… trapped. This wasteland is full of useless things.

His eyebrows were woven into his sideburns, which grew down beneath his gray, knitted scarf.

physical strength. emotional strength. spiritual strength. psychological strength. relational strength. individual strength. group strength.

this reminds me of the table we used to have when i was little. my parents got it from my grandma on my dad’s side. there was a mark on one edge where my uncle tried to stab my dad’s hand with a fork, but he moved his hand in time. now there are just four small dents in that circular light wood table.

i used to go with my dad to the barber shop. i always thought it would be more exciting than it actually was. i just sat there looking at magazine that were meant for middle aged men, as a young girl. but i loved spending time with my dad in the car on the way there and back. plus, he would usually buy us some ice cream on the way home.

good conversations take place on benches. yesterday, mack, logan, and i talked about heaven, hell, salvation, God, and our frustrations or questions for half an hour. we were supposed to be doing some assignment for inter comm. but we didn’t.

i love mangos! they are one of my favorite fruits. they are quite difficult to eat though. i remember as a little kid, i always had to have my mom cut them up for me. they were like a special treat. my sister and i would snack away on them as we watched our cartoons.

the outlets here in africa are so different. the ones in the bathroom don’t even work with the converter. i wonder why no one has created a universal outlet and voltage range? it would make life oh so much easier. just a thought, universe.

i’m not quite sure what sage means, in fact. the only way i’ve heard it used is in reference to “sage advice” or “sage wisdom.” maybe it means experienced? it also reminds me of a spice and cooking. i miss cooking. along with other things from home.

Words of wisdom from an insufferable cock
then just stop
enough is enough
end your thought

trying, I hate writing reports, I always think that my ideas are never good enough to fill out a whole report, maybe its because I don’t ever like the topics I’m writing about. I think that’s actually it, I’ve never been passionate about something that I’ve written about for school. I’ve tried to write my own stuff, but it never works.

this cool summer morning my kids are still asleep. quiet. alone with my thoughts, if only briefly. coffee, steaming cup awakening my senses. Amused by the wind shaking up the trees as autumn teases summer lifting her skirt and calling out the name of her crush… I hear little waking sounds…the day will soon begin… all the running around dutifully fulfilling needs and wiping little faces and catching naughty little thief with the cookies crumbing my clean floor…laughter will soon fill me and my house and this page will go blank as I am busy with the stuff I will miss when they’re gone. Today I will answer ten thousand questions. I will work harder than most of the people I know…I will require the patience of a saint and a gentle hand and the endurance to keep up with those much younger and faster than me all while attempting to stash away a little piece of myself for the road.

Without, to be without someone is a cures, to be alone and isolated by people is unforgivable. To be without possision is inconciderate of others. No one should be without. Who is to blame I’f you are withoth, you, your parents, your friend or the world we live in?

Stop! Don’t go there. The fallout will take you down quicker’n you can say, jack rabbit. That is – if there were any jack rabbits left around here. But, since the incident, they’re gone.

The rocket took off as a slow speed, building momentumn, as the fumes and flames gathered beneath it, slowly pushing it to the sky.

When I think of the word kite, i think of how fun a kite should be,a nd how boring it actually is. I mean, once the kite is in the air, then what?
If I could fly with the kite it would be different, but as it is holding the string and staring at the sky is well, boring!

One day I was driving through a parking lot and it was my birthday and I was sad that those who are gone were not there to tell me happy birthday. Then I saw a half deflated balloon floating that said happy birthday.

The meaning of the word is beyond comprehension to most individuals due to is meaning or existence within the period it occurred.

A woolen piece of fabric, dingy and dirty with tattered edges and some spots that weren’t quite the same size as they should be, and you miss that dilapidated accessory. You miss it because it brings to mind thoughts of winter, snuggling in close to yourself inside your winter coat with just your eyes peeking out above the old scarf, and you miss that cold, wonderfully warm feeling of childhood.

commas are a great way to separate words. they keep the meaning of words clear. commas are a good way to make thoughts clear.
