Just like fractions. Well, at first I thought that it was fractions. Anyways, I don’t know what they want me to write about this word.. I once fractured my arm….. Like damaged it or just cracked a bone or something …. I guess that’s what it means.

Stable hands made sure that it was fine. The pot was ceramic and if he wasn’t mistaken, it belonged to his grandmother. He’d never used it before, not until today. Brewing the tea he kept his hands stable as he gently poured the warm liquid into each of their cups. If he was to impress him, the man his parents wanted him to court, he’d have to do better than the shoddy shit he’d made the day prior. He took a deep breath in and as the golden liquid dripped out in an orderly fashion into the teacup he smiled. Perfect. He’d have a good chance yet.

I was once a reporter. It was a long time ago, but I changed professions due to problems at work. You see, I worked for the Sunday Journal and my editor wanted me to do a piece on spaceships and giant cookies. That was where I had to draw the line.

It was dark, light illuminating out of the windows. Easy pickings, really. All we had to do was climb in through the window and take what we pleased. I guess the only downside was that the argument climbed and esculated and I…I…didn’t handle it well. Good thing it wasn’t my lodge. Good. Because then I could walk away, blood covering my person, and leave the pathetic bastards to rot with what they thought was theirs as my own.

It stared, unblinking back at me. I had one chance to do this right, one bloody chance and it brought nothing but fear into my heart. My hands were poised to write but nothing came to me. It was blank. Empty. I gulped and pressed them closer.
The screen continued to blink in the dark, taunting me.

It didn’t take too long, to find what we needed. A teddy bear or two, a blanket and a basket. All in all, successful. And now? Now all we needed was the perfect spot. Upon a hill, under a tree, beside a river blue. Perfect again. We laughed, you and I. Our quests always did end like this.

I’m on a quest for a grand sword. I will travel to the corners of the earth for this sword. This sword shall make the world a better place. Once I shove it through the chest of that beast, darkness will be gone.

I looked at the pile of papers with dread. So much work. If I don’t do it I might be fired. But if I do it I’ll lose sleep. Will I ever win?

We take life for granted these days. In the primitive era, you couldn’t even own a house. Heck, houses were nonexistent. You had to live just like every other animal in the world. We weren’t even at the top of the food chain!

You have been nominated the worst cook ever. You can even burn noodles. Congratulations, I’m never eating at your restaurant in the future. Cook better, then we’ll talk.

If you were willful, you wouldn’t have done what they told you to do. I can’t believe what I’m hearing. You killed that man for your own safety and you know it. You could’ve told me.

I blushed and smiled. He held the door open, smiled, and we talked. It was simple. We were perfectly unperfect in our awkward manners and constant smiles. Smiles Smiles Smiles. It was charming.

My mom is the staple ingredient in our family. Without her my sister and I would be floating around in nothingness and sadness. There would be no college for me and no home for my sister. She is amazing.

Everybody remembers where he or she grew up. I remember my town being one of the blandest places I’ve ever seen. No circuses, no scandals, no nothing. That’s why, in the summer of 2001, I was bewildered to meet a girl named Carla Rae. No matter how old I get, I can never forget the effect she had on me. I can remember her speech, her mannerisms, even the first food she ate when she came to my town, but I can’t remember what her eyes looked like.

When I weave words together, I make a sentence. When I weave sentences together, I create a paragraph. When I weave paragraphs together, I make a story. When I weave stories together, I make history.

One day, I will go into space. I will orbit the earth, laugh at the amazement of it, float in my rocket cubicle, discover things beyond the world, enjoy it all. One day.

What is function? Do I function well? I feel not of late. I wish that I were functioning as I should. Is it my function that my Lord is evaluating, or something else? Should I compare my function to others? I will not worry so much about functioning well as following well.

No. Not again. I miss the city. I want to stay home in New York City with my Dad in our little apartment, walk the busy streets with my friends from school. Instead, I will be stuck in a cabin with my crazy aunt for two months in the middle of nowhere-South Dakota. Some summer.

It’s the perfect picture we ladies all dream of. The cute cottage, the green lawn with our children playing outside on it in the sunshine. All surrounded by -yes- a white picket fence.

I have wanted to do this forever. Fly. Finally, as I am getting hooked up in my gear and being reminded of certain landing tips, etc., I am getting ready to really do it. I put the glider on, start running with the wind in my ears, I’m off! I soar, watching everything shrink below me. My family waves from the ground and I am free!

Water and oil are like the sun and the moon. They can never be together, not for long. It’s a sad idea, and interesting concept. It’s a fact we all know about. It’s strange.

Cheaper by the Dozen. Never read the book. Then again, there are plenty of books I never get around to reading. They are started and stacked up on shelves in random orders. Cheaper by the Dozen would just end up there too.

her heart was like a stone, difficult to change-more like a rock. But a man came and set to work. Patiently he carved, creating something beautiful. This man is JEsus and He is the only one who can change a heart of stone.

the man was deaf and he walked down the road looking for something to eat. He stopped at a hot dog stand. The man behind the stand asked, “do you want the works?” Motioning, the deaf man tried to make the hot dog man understand. He wanted onions, ketchup, mustard, and a bun. That was it. When he was done, he walked away with a hot dog.
