I look over at my roommate’s side of our tiny dorm. He’s gone back to Michigan for winter break, and left all his bikes chained to his lofted bed. He’s particularly fond of the red, sleek fixed-gear bike sitting in the corner. Somehow I think the next week is going to be very lonely without him. I haven’t connected with very many people since I started college, and now that he’s gone I’m not sure who I’ll spend my time with.

I lost my gear on my way to the us from the caymans. What an internal experience, to say little of it. As I walked into the immigration hall, I had a feeling all would be ok, a feeling that had no justification in the actualities. Looking at each customs officer seated in their individual little kioskks, I chose a bright, youthful, southern floridian, probably grew up right here in South beach. He would be sympathetic to a story of hooker rolling… he would accept my gullible aw shucks newfie naivite as so similar to his that I would become invisible at best, a sorrowful character to be pitied at worst. No papers… No problem

Keeping something together, giving support. Glue. Being stuck, not able to move. Strong. Not letting go, lasting forever. Emotion. Love. Staying together, cuddling, hug.

There was a child once who became so convinced that only good children earned tickets to heaven. He needed to earn his ticket and was concerned that he wouldn’t have enough time because of the disease ravaging his body. Little did he know that once he surrendered his will to a higher power, he would be redeemed without question.

I hate black licorice. I have tried for years – both my grandmother and mother adore the candy, but I can’t stand it. I feel strange about it, because I feel like I should genetically be engineered to enjoy black licorice, but I don’t.

My favorite pastime is… I don’t know. I enjoy so many things in life, it would be difficult to pick just one as a favorite. I think that’s the interesting thing – when you pigeonhole yourself to only one thing, be it a food, or a person, or a pastime, you become disenchanted with that thing. Life requires variety.

There were fifty five radios in my possession throughout the whole of the nineteen eighties. This of course excited me a great deal, as I was able to listen to various programs on various radios, and could compare the quality of the radios through this practice. Then, in nineteen ninety for some silly reason i decided to rig all the

She brushed his hand off of her cheek as he tried to wipe her tears away, she was hurt by another and wss taking it out on the one man willing to help her. She brushed her own tears away with the backs of her hands. He could tell she had brushed off his affection…

many people have different ideas for the term idol. some see it as a person worth aspiring to be… some see it as a figurine that sits on a shelf representing their deity of choice. I for one, don’t have idols…

I was driving along in my car. My girlfriend asked me to stop. I said i prefer when the car is moving at a respectable pace. She said that she enjoyed a still car. Well who would have thought I’d ever have somebody request that my car be still on a highway!

In the car this morning with my mother, I have to admit I was rather tired. I’d like to think that excused the way I reacted when she tried to tell me vital details about the day.
“I don’t care.”
“No need to snap at me, I don’t deserve that.”
She was right, of course.

Twine is a beautiful invention… So prickly, yet so useful. From baling hay to stringing clothes out to dry, and even to walking the dog, a more useful invention has hardly made the grade that twine has. Besides all that, the name is just cool… You’re rope, or twine?

growing sucks because i just want to be a child. yeah, it’s nice when the trees grow and blossom and i love flowers that grow in the grass. but i simply don’t want to grow older. it just solidifies a certain darkness and a deep void…

Growing in a skinny world can be tough. Just make sure to eat right, and the growing will surely stop. One must always endeavor to indulge in sugars and other treats to be certain of proper girth growth.

angels live in heaven, where there are other beautiful things… such as candycanes, gumdrops, icicles, and bowling balls. don’t forget the pins. after all, when it thunders they say that got is bowling. i suppose there is probably a pool (of course, it would be a heated pool) too. i would love heaven.

Angels are all around… I often wonder where they gather to discuss the varied trials of those whom they monitor. Perhaps a celestial watering hole, where one popular angel shares the humorous stories of a newly married couple adjusting to skid marks and bleach.

I seem to think I hate International people. But what is there to hate? We learn so much from people that we don’t know. What if my love is an international? What if my grandparents never came over? What if I was never born?

through the darkest and lost heavens we glided and trudged; conflicting the very threads of our d.n.a. our splitting wires crossed and fled the scene in protest.

One day I saw a cow when I was driving to Pennsylvania. I always wondered how it was to raise beast that weigh over 1 ton. Like, is their milk good fresh, and is tipping them as fun as it sounds?
